    Yo tengo el de dial rojo. Es bastante bonito , y no es nada grande ( tengo una muñeca de 17cm, que no es mucho )

    This is one of the most exciting quartz watches to come out in the last 30 years (or more), especially for those looking for more "classical" (smaller) dimensions. Not that this is too small at all

  • @punkypink83
    @punkypink83 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    thank you for actually stating the dimensions, especially the lug-to-lug. so many watch "reviews" don't ever mention critical information like this

    Kudos to you for not making the mistake a lot of channels make in regard to the accuracy of these movements at 10 seconds a year. Bulova used to make that claim but now state "accurate to seconds per year" which gives them a 59 second buffer. Many other channels are still reciting that old 10 second claim unaware of Bulova's ammendment. Your appraisal at about 5 seconds per month is bang on.
    Personally I wish they'd done the limited edition as an automatic with the Miyota 9015 movement, which they could have done easily as Bulova and Miyota all come under the Citizen umbrella.

    • @erikk1820
      @erikk1820 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      But why put in an inferior movement? Bulova has always been about pushing horological technology.

      Why not have a choice. There are three other versions using the precisionist movement. I'd definitely buy the automatic.

    YESSSS! I'm so happy Bulova are expanding the precisionist movement to 40mm and below sized watches. It's great they are making a bit more "classic" (or vintage) inspired pieces. The modern stuff they make is great but a lot of them are too big for me :( Thanks for showing these pieces off for us

    With all the removable links removed, the bracelet will be sized for around a 6.2 inch wrist. Bulova Customer Service told me. It will be way too loose for a 5 inch wrist.

    40MM is a great size since those other Bulova precisionist watches are much larger. The Jet Star model with the red dial looks really gorgeous but some have said even if you take out all the removable links it still fits way too big for someone with a 6 or 6.25 inch wrist. Can this watch work for someone with a 6 inch wrist?

      That was the very same thing I was worried about but after asking some people many have stated there are enough removable end links to fit someone with a 6 or 6.25 wrist. I saw one at Macy's and the bracelet feels fairly light which is nice. I have another Hamilton watch that is 180 grams so this Bulova watch should weight much less than that.

    I like the looks but it’s disappointing that it’s only 50m WR. And the precisionist movement isn’t as accurate as it once was. It’s now 5 seconds a month instead of 10 seconds a year.. sorry but it’s not worth the sticker price..

    • @tancreddehauteville764
      @tancreddehauteville764 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@fergfour not me generally, in the U.K Bulova seem to hold there value until one of the major jewellers have a sale. But for me a watch has to be worth the price, and I don’t see the value here.. for example, for less I could pick up a citizen super titanium with a 2100 chronograph movement for £100 less! I feel bulova are exploiting potential customers with the archive series, especially a basic 3 hander with a movement which is now inferior to which it once was.

    • @fergfour
      @fergfour ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Theflyguy522 I’ve seen the silver dial limited selling for $555 and the others for $475 from a dealer in the US. That’s over $100 off the sticker price and more appropriate for what you’re getting. “Heritage” type models always seem to be more expensive. Hopefully in time the prices will fall even more.
