I'll be retiring in Hua Hin in a year with my wife so I'm keen on your home viewing videos. Really like the filming style as it gives a true sense of the entire layout of the house.
I guess we didn't make things clear at the beginning of this video series and we regret this error. We are looking for a family home to buy for ourselves and we are taking our viewers along for the experience. We are not real estate agents, the only relationship we have with real estate agents is buyer (us) / seller (them) and we have absolutely no skin in the game. We are not interested in living on the beach because most beach properties here are very overpriced and not in our budget. There are heaps of real estate websites in Thailand. You can try star-property-huahin.com/ but there are many others. 🥰
Beautiful surroundings and land! Little things can be replaced and improved upon. :) I would ask someone (not your realtor) about a home inspection service to check the roof and for other issues if they exist, so they will be revealed.
Hi all, this is the best one yet looks good value for the money. Do you get a building inspection be for you buy like here in Australia ?And thanks for the advise for the taxi cant wait till May.
You can certainly get a building inspection done here in Thailand just like you can in Australia. It's entirely the buyer's decision. See you in May! 😍
thanks for the videos . We live in Queensland just west of Ravenshoe on the Atherton Tableland . I have visited Thailand many times and am interested in moving there particularly the Hua Hin / Takiab region ( at 75 we like the quiet life ) . One question please - how do you go , over there , buying a house WITH land as my understanding was , farangs cannot own land in Thailand . Cheers , russell and Ian .
Thanks for viewing and commenting fellas! You are right - foreigners can't own land in Thailand. However the foreigner can "lease" the land the house sits on. We are planning an interview with a Thai lawyer who will explain everything. There are many thousands of foreigners who own homes in Thailand (and "lease" the land). Please wait for the lawyer interview for detailed information.
The outdoors outside of the house looks great but the inside is I don't care about it. I don't know what they are trying to make it look like Not European or the West not even close.
Hi there. The price was at the very start of the video. It was listed for 5.5 million baht. It was sold straight away and is now for rent at 38,000 baht a month.
This is a really nice property especially for the low price. I am interested. I am going to sell my house in Scotland to purchase s property in Hua Hin or Pattaya undecided just now. Prices are lower in Hua Hin.
We do need to find out how the garbage is collected. Normally that is included in gated communities. This house is not in a gated community unfortunately .
@@5150TJT We are a retired couple and not Real Estate agents. We thought our subscribers would like to follow our progress of looking for a house. We will do a separate video on the system and what we experience when we sign on the dotted line.
@meTheParkers Hello guys . Hope your enjoying your new life in Beautiful Thailand. Would you be able to give me more details of this property pleas', do you have an email address? I found your email and ive emailed you .
That's usually exclusive to condos hoa and they charge by square footage. In a housing community with a pool maybe $30 or less a month....not like the US...we pay $400 a month in a housing community....reminds me to get pissed off 😂
Thanks for making your properties for sale videos. I live in Scotland and i am looking to move to Thailand permanently as i am retired. I hope to buy a Luxury Villa / House single storey or 2 storey. I am single. My budget for land and property is between 4.5M to 8M Baht. A must is a private seawater pool size 10mtr x 4 mtr wide approx but deep enough for a farang not a Thai. 3 bedrms (2 with ensuite). Air con and ceiling fans. Double car port. Drinking Water filtration pump system. I am a new subscriber. Love your YT chanbel. ❤
I don't think you will have any trouble finding something in that price range. Most pools we have seen are very deep. Our suggestion is to rent for say three months so you can actually go look at the properties. What looks good in photos may not be what it actually is. As we have found out . Cheers !
@@PMLynch we didn't buy it and we don't know if it was a Thai or foreigner who did. If a foreigner they own the house but have to lease the land 30 years.
It seems like it’s never talked about it, but the upstairs, unless you’re going to air-conditioning it, is hot as hell. A great place to dry close. They don’t insulate these house much and the windows are a single glaze. The north, inside of the house will likely be similar to the outside, 25-27C degree/80-84F (you can estimate as well as I can). Don’t just look at the pleasing things, look at how it functions.
Sorry i dont know if i have missed it but can you please let me know the contact details of the real estate agent phone & address or the current owners contact details. I definately prefer a Resale Property i believe one gets far more for your money than buying brand new.
We googled 'Houses for sale in Hua Hin' Many property agents come up. There are contact numbers and normally the agents are good at getting back to you. We don't have a particular agent to recommend just yet. So far we have a different agent for every house.

The house looks amazingly beautiful including the scenery and the area .

Good advice about home inspection. This house sold for above the asking price so we assume it passed the buyer's due diligence.
This is quite a nice place and the pool looks great😅😅😅😅😅😅
It looks like a great place to call home...
Sadly this house has been sold.
Really a nice house!

Pretty good for the price. It's the same colours as my house. Green roof.
Yes the colours in this house are very nice. Green roof is excellent !
great video. do you have to be local to find these hidden gems?
You definitely don't need to be local. You simply go to any Thai real estate website and search.

That is crazy price lovely home how far from town Hua hin and beach
It is around 9km from Hua Hin town and the beach.
What is name of street or area I to find on google maps
I probably missed you saying it. But how many Square meters is the land and house. Also is there any association fees.
Land is advertised at 611 square meters and house size is 250 square meters. As it is not in a gated community there is no common fee.

Definitely look around first before deciding, Both cities have their pros and cons.
Very important property without any extra monthly fees. Freehold property or i will lease the land for 25 to 30 yrs and buy the house or build.
We do need to find out how the garbage is collected. Normally that is included in gated communities. This house is not in a gated community unfortunately .
👍👍
Any bedroom downstairs?

What are the sq. footages?

Freehold land, all these house tours never tell you the land title.. who would buy a house on rented land..
That's the way it is in Thailand.
@@HereComeTheParkers no, own 2 properties with freehold land. Not in a wifes name either. Better to explain to people how the system works.

How much is HOA? free hold or lease hold?
What is HOA? This term does not exist in Thailand.
In Thailand for foreigners the house is freehold, the land is leasehold 30years (can renew)
