I've always loved the Prelude and the Variation movements more than the Fugue. It's a pity this lovely work is such a rarity on the concert stage. Not surprising though: not virtuosic or showy enough for the professional concert pianist, but still makes enough musical and interpretative demands to challenge the most gifted of pianists. Il faut pas oublier qu'il s'agit d'une transcription pour piano d'orgue, il n'y avait pas d'indication sur les nuances, elles ont été ajoutées au goût de l'éditeur.
