Cant believe there are not that many replies here. I wish i could be there in the hall and get nourished in my ear. Watching many performances and interviews on youtube, I found he is not only a sensational pianist, but great and humble person with wisdom at that young age. Looking forward to your recital at meany hall in seattle!
Just listened to Seung-Jin Cho, Tiffany Poon, and Martha Argerich + Nelson Freire play "La Valse," might as well listen to this one. I love the original orchestral version, too, but for me, there's something more captivating about Ravel's ability to write for the piano.

Despite the title it is very difficult to actually dance with this highly sophisticated masterpiece. Anyway, a brilliant performance with highest technique and innate lyricism. Just wonderful!

This sound quality was bad. But great Performance. Mr.Sunwoo ,you make me dance
Definitely, it's a dry little room, nothing sounds great there. But yes, he really made it hang together, which a lot of pianists don't. (Embarrassingly so in some instances on TH-cam.)

You & I have clearly been listening to different performances ... but the good thing about living in a democracy is that we can each have our own opinion (until the snowflakes & woke brigade are in charge, at least 🙂).
How is this a terrible performance?
