Great video, and the Mrs. did fantastic on the trail. I'm hoping to get to the Rubicon for the first time in '24, and I'm looking forward to the fact the trail is essentially one long obstacle 😂.
What permits are required for camping and for taking this on in general? Are you guys from southern California? My wife and i are just getting into jeeping and are in orange county. We went to the jeep jamboree academy yesterday in anza borega to learn more about our rig and future upgrades, as well as to do some trail riding. It was fun.
No permits needed for the Rubicon that we’re aware of. Check with the USDF for any closures or required permits though just to be sure. Sounds like you had a great time at the academy which is awesome, we recommend joining some Jeep groups too (check Facebook for those) so many nice people and the knowledge base is huge, many do runs which is also a great way to learn more.
This is one of my favorite trails. I just love how the scenery and terrain change each mile you go.
Us too, though it is challenging. The reward for all the obstacles are the magnificent views which seem to never end. ✌🏻
