Great stuff. I just started a channel here on the east coast jeepNdirt and can't wait to get my JLUR out west. I lived in CA for 8 years with my YJ and never had a chance to do the Rubicon. I really like your footage, intro, and random shots. Great job.
This is the best video I’ve ever seen of this trail. Two questions, will a tank of gas make the entire trail and what’s the minimum tire size suggested? My wife’s got 33’s JLUR and my TJ’s on 31’s.
Thank you! I wouldnt run anyrhing smaller than 35. It maybe doable but the undercarriage damage may not be worth it.. A tank of gas should get you through. Carrying extra never hurts. I had to run the first 3 miles 3 times to get the broke XJ back to Loon and then back to the group.
Looks like you had a great trip with some really nice folks... Glad you were able to take this trip and record for our viewing pleasure. Thanks!!!
Oh it was a great time. The group was amazing. Thanks for watching
Oh, and I'm Subscribed for sure :)
Thank you we appreciate that!
After 40 years of fordyce and Rubicon I have never seen a bear maybe we're to loud and wild with the buggies lol
She just showed up that morning. Just walking along the creek.

Awesome looking forward to seeing some of your footage.
Are you running dana44 or 60 on 40’s? If 44, how’s that working out? Especially curious on how it handle on the Rubicon trail.
We are funning a Fusion4x4 D60 rear. 5.13 w/ ARB locker. Front is a 44 with RCV axles shafts, reinforced C gussets.
Outstanding content! Looks like an awesome trip. Most of the rigs on 37s? Any of the 4 doors on 35s?
Thanks Joe. We are 40's. The rest on 37's except the white JL is on 35's.
