Really appreciate this video, Bob! I removed the back panel to wire a rear view traffic camera. It looks great! I took off the right license plate light and wedged in the mounting plate. Ran the wire behind and out the backup cam hole. Then, it was easy to run the wires into the cab. I cut an old cellphone power cord to use the outlet in the cargo area for camera power. I used the Kingslim D4 kit. Would make for a nice video.
I just finished installing a rear camera and your video made it possible. It all went back together well. Thanks for posting. The only thing I did different was to open the back window to remove that top plate that sits over the latch instead or prying it.
Thank you! I just finished installing my rear dash camera. Ended up sticking the camera on the glass window and routed the cable through the accordion looking rubber boot (wire Protector) that's attached between the glass window to the door and the one that's from the door to the body. Would have broken many clips if I tackled it with watching your video haha!

Two of the "V" shaped looking retainer clips from the top side columns fell inside the door :-/ I just finished installing my rear dash camera and ran the wires through the wire boot. I ended up cutting a hole in the boot behind the "rim" and ran my wire through it, I don't think any water will get in there since the "gasket" part of the boot is intact and the boot still "seals" onto the body and rear gate.

Bob, I have been having problems with my rear latch over time. When you squeeze the latch to open the rear door the latch does not spring back when you let go so that you have to manipulate the latch manually to open it back up so the door will close and latch. When I had this trouble before It was fixed by a local body man. Now it is doing it again. I was able to remove the rear panel thanks to your excellent video. What now? I can see the latch mechanism and it is held on to the rear door by two screws plus there is a wire attached that goes to the lock at the side of the door. If I take the wire off and the two screws is there anything bad going to happen or can I just remove and lubricate accordingly? Any help much appreciated. Thanks.
Without reopening my rear gate again, i can make a quick assessment and say your mechanical mechanism is receiving some friction somewhere OR your wire is not traveling in the way that it should be, causing it to not fully engage your handle (this is my first guess as it has happened on my friends Sequoia). I would have someone open and close the latch while you use a flashlight and study your wire "play". See if it fully engages. Then use your own hands to pull on the wire and see if it engages manually without your door handle. If it does, then your wire is "off" its travel path. If it doesn't then your handle mechanism may need to be lubricated or replaced.
@@GXBOB The wire works fine Bob. Its definitely a lubrication problem. have tried to lubricate from the outside to no avail. I was just wondering if I remove the two bolts holding it from the inside if anything bad will happen. Thanks.

how do i remove and replace the rear spoiler from my 2021 GX460. the top body matched spoiler cover broke off and i am being told the entire assembly need to be changed . thanks in advance
At 6:16 is that a place for something like the DONGAR usb cable for dash cam? If it is, will be a good idea to place a front facing dash cam as rear view camera so you can get full 2k or 4k view both angle🤭.
My rear dashcam is external and sits below my rear bumper. It's small in size to be discreet. It also doesn't require 2k or 4k since the front requires more visual detail than the rear. Rất has enough capacity now without 2k to capture a license plate number. I have a new video coming up soon to replace the rear camera.
