Way to create a fix Bob. If Lexus did it right, the length of the plug would've been long enough to go back to the lock pin hole and have a hole thru it for the pin to pass thru.
Finally happened to me, my shit got stolen. I used JB Weld SteelStik 8267 first which held the hook well from the start and dried in 5-10 minutes then I topped it off with JB Weld Epoxy which dried in another 30-40 minutes. Thanks for the great Idea.
@@GXBOB I did what you said as far as putting liquid nails in the cover, but I also screwed flat-head machine screws into the sides of the cover to hold the clasp imbedded in liquid nails in the cover. We'll see if it works.

RAy, Check BSM system is very very rare and only occurs after 2 things happen. You either got into an accident that disrupted any of your bumper sensor wiring OR your bumper sensors have been a victim of the environment. I would go through every single one of your sensors on your front and rear bumpers and wipe them all down with a paper towel and restart the car.

@@thewholeeventhorizon You can take any size that fits loose to your lock pin diameter. you don't want it tight or else you'll have a hard time trying to wiggle your pin into the loop blindly.
