I don’t know why youtube recommended this video, but I must admit that the idea you're describing here sounds legit and actually works pretty well. That’s how I trained too. I didn’t do any research, it just seemed logical and natural to me
So what about progressive overload? Would you suggest, say overloads for muscle group every alternate week or once - twice a month instead of each week? It’s so much tougher on a cut , like you said
Overload should be the focus of every workout pal 💪🏻 If you’re on a cut, then sure… on paper you might not be seeing crazy improvements. But if you’re pushing hard, you’ll be moving forward. Even if the weights & reps stay the same… if you’re lighter, then you’re improving your power to weight ratio 💪🏻😊
This is exactly what I was looking for? A skinny-fat started working out 2 months ago. Minor changes but still doesn't know where I will be after couple of months but yeah this is what I am following thankyou...I don't know will it work for me but I am always confused
I’m glad to hear it pal! It’s a unique struggle being skinny fat. But if things are done correctly you can end up with an incredible physique 👌🏻 best of luck pal! Let me know how you do 💪😊
I am skinny fat 178cm. I weighted 64kg in september. I used to be very thin with small belly. Now I weight 72kg after tracking calories, eating surplus and working out 3x week. I think I went a little too much calories (I gained like 1kg a week - mostly fat but calories too as I can still overload and get pr every week). Should I recomp now? I dont even know what weight should I target, i think my arms are still too small. Any advice?
1kg per week is were you went wrong, you should gain 1-2kg per month max 2kg in my opinion. if you notice face fat, belly fat and you don't like that cut down slowly 250-500 calories below maintance, and make sure you get down to 10-14% bodyfat. that is atleast were i would want to be. if you don't think you have to much fat then bulk abit more so your muscle pop more when your lean, its your choice. if your body fat is over 20% i would cut down to be lean, then bulk.
Why from skinny-fat to fat? You do no good to yourself when piling up fat. No matter where - around arms, or chest - it's bad. It's better to cut and have problem: how to build muscles where you skinny

Thank you Alex! 💪

Cheers for your comment mate!
I guess the first question would be, do you have body fat on your body that you dislike right now ?
