  • Mongolian sauce is a blend of brown sugar, lite soy sauce, ginger and minced garlic.
This sauce is great as a dip and also as a marinade.

Am I missing something or is it common practice to not add how much of the stuff you’re adding? I feel like I’m going insane.
I don’t say this to be rude. I’m genuinely curious if I just don’t understand something that everyone else in the comments is getting

That's like Teriyaki sauce except she used flour instead of corn starch.

It is very frustrating to watch this when the ingredients are not mentioned in measurement.

I realize you've made Mongolian barbequeue sauce in this video, but what about adding the dried red hot chile for spicy heat? All Mongolian Chinese dishes I've ever eaten have contained the dried red hot chiles for heat. This sauce is good but was sweet and not spicy enough for me. So, I added about five dried red hot chiles and cooked the sauce to make it thicker, then made japjae with crispy fried tofu and veggies over with sweet potato vermicelli noodles. It was so tasty and spicy but not too much. Num num num num num.
