    Josh Anderson! Moving his feet, settling into his role. Habs deserve a Ton of credit, absolutely loving this team. No lineup changes necessary, as the kids say “let them cook” ha.

    Laine has impressed, he's healing, skating harder. & most importantly, he's playing a 200 ft game. He's smart & crafty, the guy's have taken notice. That's what a team is all about. Yes, their in the mix...

    I watched Dobes in Laval last year and this year. After the mid way season last year he was lights out and put them in the mix to get in the playoffs (look at his stats). He played the same this year and the Rocket were at the top or near the top of the league so far. He is the real deal. I criticized the team and coaches this year, but the last 10 games have been a Jeckyl Hyde story. Love the play of the team now.

    Since Carrier arrived, the D has been more together and, the entire team is playing good defense. We should have kept Kovacevic, He has helped lift NJ to the top of the east! One last thing, this Heineman kid is going to be a big part of this team. I love what we have seen from this guy. He can skate, hit, score. and he plays hard and SMART!

    You can not replace the value that Evans and Armia gives the team on the bottom 6 and killing penalties you take those two out of the lineup and it's a totally different team BOTTOM 6 PLAYERS ARE THE KEY TO WINNING STANLEY CUPS

    • @deuceb8472
      @deuceb8472 7 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      All comes down to the dollars. Evans is playing great and hopefully his demands are reasonable but you can't overpay a bottom 6 guy in his late 20's for one year of production. Having said that if they're in the mix down the stretch I wouldn't be in a rush to trade guys like Armia and Savard at the deadline. The value of the experience gained for the squad will hold a lot of weight.

    When the opposition knows they can't virtually guarantee a win by keying on the top line, things become a lot more interesting. This is as balanced a forward group as any team in the NHL. The bottom 6 are among the league's best for total goals scored and the blue line is full of promising young defencemen, with more knocking on the door. They aren't going to contend any time soon, but it changes everything when the top 2 lines are genuine threats.

    Everything seems to be falling into place .
    Laine returning , Carrier stabilizing the d-squad , Dach getting out of his funk , Evans killing it , Heineman’s coming of age and Primeau exiting to open up that spot for Dobes .
    This might very well be a new chapter in the habs rebuild .
    Excited to see how it all unfolds in the second half of the season . Who stays , who gets moved , who gets called up if they move some guys …

    I think he’s going to play in Vegas. He’s ready for the NHL, just a different mental make up and his game is far more advanced than Primeau swimming on his stomach. He has a lot to correct in his game right now. Dobes stunned the leafs during the preseason, he didn’t win, but showed the start of what he could do. Marty is throwing him out against the hardest teams for a reason

    The way that most fans/ media are reacting from the two win week-end, they indeed want to be in he mix...not rebuilding. If they keep playing good hockey, they might not even get a top10 pick next summer. That means that Suzuki and Hutson will likely be the 1C and top#1 defenseman for possibly the next 10 years unless they luckily win a draft lottery within the next couple of years !!!

      Money has this year and next year, but he’ll be the back up next season. I’ve watched Dobes since he was drafted at Ohio state, he’s the real deal. He was hidden and not watched at all in Montreal, a complete unknown and when you look at the numbers, the awards he won at Ohio his first year; top rookie, top goaltender, all rookie, and first all star, he’s got game. He had a tough start last year playing with the youngest team in the AHL, the first 10 game, he buckled down and showed that he’s a top talent, but the media stats watched instead of recognizing the talent. Dobes is Montreals next undisputed number one.
