First of all, I just have to say I love your videos. Thanks for the great content. I agree somewhat with your list, though I think you were a little unfair and biased towards the Tick Macuahuitl. Tick Macuahuitl is my favorite weapon through huge parts of the game. I know how to perfect block, but sometimes shit goes terribly wrong, you miscalculate, get stuck on something, fall down, another enemy attacks you from behind, someone throws something at you while you’re not looking, you suddenly end up in a dark place without lighting, a lot of things can happen that saps your life, it is very nice to just keep attacking and get your health back. You don’t need to worry about healing at all. I also like the fact that the weapon is one-handed and slashing. I understand why you’re not using it yourself, you’re very good at playing the game. It becomes obsolete, but, for the casual player Tick Macuahuitl can have some real value. It can help you practice combat without dying and is not hard to make. For that reason I would put it in A
i dont use them as my weapon, but mosquito needles are useful to have in case you get low during a fight and need to heal. I just target a weaker enemy, heal off of them, and go back to targeting the main enemy.
Run with a fire staff instead, kill aphids and weevils as you see them in the yard. Killing enemies with the spicy staff cooks the meat you would loot, allowing you to heal immediately from the roast on the go. Much more reliable/safe/efficient
12:39 now I know normally on my other comments on these videos are usually disagreed, but I completely agree with this choice for two reasons one this is the main weapon that I use and it is a club which means barbarian can be used on it, and it is very useful against most enemies. Now my second reason is far more outlandish the reason why is simple this was the first tier 3 weapon and if you played whenever I did one, it was called the mint mallet and two it was easy to craft, which means if you played around the start of the game you could get a tier 3 weapon and absolutely obliterate everyone now that it is harder to craft it is changed but still a very powerful weapon🍃🔨
oof hurts not to see the widow dagger in S tier. Whenever I'm collecting stuff around the yard I only need to bring this weapon as it effectively kills just about anything excluding bosses. Also a viable underwater weapon
You build around it and it will out perform everything else on this list. This tier list is more of a "without a build surrounding it" tier list. But if youre into min/maxing, dagger is still top tier.
I would put black ant shovel in c because it can kill grubs before they go back underground without having to swap weapons which is VERY annoying (in my opinion)
Scythe outpreforms a lot of the weapons above it a lot of the time but it requires a ton of setup to get it to that power level. Scythe tends to be the top 5 dps of any creature period. If not higher than that.
Yeah but you have to kill the mantis to get it. And the mantis is beyond broken and OP. Also requires a lot of setup like you say with assassin 3, apex pred, assassin armor, crits etc.
@@Paraly5er Pretty much. From phase 2 onward, staying in melee with the Mantis is the death sentence because of the unblockable shredding attack, and many other attacks from it are also unblockable, which is insanely painful. The best system that I've managed to work out for it is to begin the fight using a bleed poison build with broodmother armor and widow dagger to rush through the first phase, then when it transitions to phase 2 and onward, I whip out the black ox crossbow and keep myself behind the tree to avoid it's deadliest attacks, pelting it with splinter arrows, managing my stamina and hopefully hitting the eyes while doing it. It's not perfect, but so far it managed to carry me through the Mantis without dying.
I’ve been running around with a spicy and fresh toenail scimitar for a long time. I use them on almost everything, they just obliterate so many different creatures. Fresh and spicy cover most of the bugs so it’s what I run around with.
I was using the red ant club for a while, but when I got the mosquito needle I stopped using it. Even if you're not getting hit a bunch, using it is like having a bandage going, and it feels much better not having the insanely slow speed of the club.
Everyone is allowed their own preference. I don't like the needle because it takes twice as long to kill enemies and is just boring. I'd rather pop a bandage and use a club
sour battle axe here is underrated, i would put it as an S-tier weapon mainly because It has High DPS like Mint Mace and Club of Mother Demon but the difference is that attack speed is much faster, stamina use is much lower like the coaltana and also it's perk buffs your attack speed even faster which stacks and is great for triggering other perks/mutations. Also, the Chopper mutations adds more beef to it gaining more damage and makes you swing a lot more.
@@D0qy why you mad bro? 😂 I literally just started playing, I wouldn't bother commenting if I knew the axe was pretty bad back then pls use your brain too.
I know it is impossible to account for every possible armor/mutation combination, and I am in no way trying to invalidate this list, but I just want to know what ends up being better given some additional factors. For instance, the club mutation sucks (unless you play on mild), whereas the sword mutation is at least decent. Would you still say that CotMD is a better spicy weapon than the Coaltana given that? Along with that, did you factor in the really strong axe mutation when discussing those? If not, I would say that alone bumps the Sour Battle-axe up a tier (How strong is -20% resistance in the damage calculation?).
The problem with the sour battle axe is it will always be sour. So the Termite axe and Scythe of blossoms will always be better as they can use chopper AND be any element. The CotMD still out damages the coaltana as if we're talking adding mutations then the venom from apex predator boosts the CotMD.
There's is a dps calculator for Grounded 1.2 I'd say use that. It's just hard to rate things when the strongest weapon frequently is different due to resists and perks and other factors. It's still a good list though.
So happy to be confirmed in my weapon choice, load out is a mint rust spear, fire termite axe and salt mace, have all 3 elements of toenail as per case kinda situations.
Good list! Think the only major thing I'd change is shunting the pebblet spear up to A or S tier. I'm only unsure because I haven't used it much since the nerf
I would say it's just a worse spiky sprig because sprigs stun things insanely easily. But it's close to spiky sprigs in terms of killing a lot of things.
Fresh termite are, sour ox hammer (rare usage), salty rusty spear and a spicy coaltana is what I carried in my main game to utilize weakness/resistance to the fullest. Then I had multiple toenail swords of different elements as my main general use wep. I do really like axes though, stronger than they seem and that flinch helps out a ton
Personally I would have put the larva blade at S and spikey club thing at A, it does do big damage and bleed but it’s so slow and it takes up a lot of energy, rather than the larva blade poisoning, being fast, and taking low energy
@Paraly5er I can agree that there's better option in tier 3. But in my opinion the pebblet hammer deserves to be at least a c. Unfortunately it can no longer keep a constant stun with the stun cooldown update. Pre nerf B, useful to stop stink bug from releasing spray, instead of using gas mask
I would love to see a video of you talking about optimal builds and what their most effective against because I have so many different types of stuff and I don’t know what works with what and I feel like I’m missing out on strong builds and most build videos I’ve seen are out of date and sites(loved the video, very helpful, keep it up 👍much love ❤️)
Lots of variation in builds is the issue, some people love critting some love stunning some love debuffs. I would say just go with the playstyle you prefer. Personally I like to go all out damage with a 2 handed weapon and just swing through everything
okay, just gonna say that in of itself, tiger mosquito/mosquito rapiers suck, but when upgraded, specifically with an element, it becomes S tier for how early you can get it. if you have Ant-Nihilator you can just spam it through the fire ant cave pretty early game (without any element) and if you do that, you can make the weapon salty, and have fire ant armour, and when those two are in tandem you can absolutely DESTROY the termite hill, with your only weakness being how much repair glue you felt like bringing.
@@Paraly5er needle is fast and consistent with most enemies, if you can kill it once, there is a good chance you can kill it again with the same amount of trouble
Hammers are disgustingly slow. I figured that it would be in the same category as the axe since the axe serves as both a tool and a deadly weapon. The hammers mainly serve as a tool to break open rocks for upgrade materials. Not to mention that the tier 3 hammer requires resources from one of the tankiest tier 3 roaming enemy in the garden, the black ox beetle. That's alot of work just to crack open a few rocks. If you're a bold player, it's useful but...have fun at your leisure I guess.
Fresh toenail scimitar (all infected, musquitos, ladybirds, fire ants and ladybird larva) Salt morningstar (black ox beetle, roly poly, wasps, termites and antlions) Spicy termite axe (all spiders except infected spiders, also decent for black widows with the chopping perk active) mighty bard bow (stinkbugs, bees and moth) anything else that isnt mentioned is too easy kill so just use whatever i tried to make this a 2H build but i realy dont like 2H builds, i need my torch or my shield in my ofhand
In my opinion the sour battle axe is one of the weapon that u can use for mostly everything like the coaltana because as you said there's almost no bug weak to it but there's not that much that is resistant to it to.
I would personally say that scythe and COTMD are both in A tier, as to get the full value of both, you have to kill the mantis regardless. Also it looses its slashing and stays chopping, not the other way around. Other than that minor detail W list
Ok so i have some things, first the sythe, if im not wrong it works with assassin that means its the only weapon that works with 3 strong mutations at once and i just like that type anyways, second the sour axe, doing a whoa run and have been using it, most bugs will get stunned in 1-3 hits which is not slow and it does good dmg, also gotta give the antlion greatsword is my early go to, its easy to get in the first like 30min or so of the game, but im kinda biased sonce they are my favorite enemy and i learned how to kill them easy, lure them on the sandbox wall and no burrowing attacks.
Sour battle axe is much better now than it used to be. Antlion sword is cool but just really annoying to get, takes sooo many pincers. Scythe does work with assassin but not with chopper which is a shame as I prefer chopper
I can say from experience that the tick machuiatl is the best way to kill the infected broodmother if built correctly. If u run in with thors pendant and full broodmother gear maxed out u physically can't die even if u fail to block with ur ladybirdshield. Ofcourse also run the black ox burgers and telling u rn it is crucial to use the tick machuiatl
It absolutely is not the best way to kill it. You can die and the black ox burger makes very little difference to the damage you take. The toenail scimitar is by far the best weapon for taking on the inf brood
You can get prod smacker easy without complete any mix.r 1.go to black anthill 2.go to the glass tube (the one with prod smacker and chest) 3.turn on wide interaction 4.crouch and press e at right timing 5.and there you go
It should do more because the the mint mace has a generic damage type with the mint augment. And he resists generic more than slashing. Fresh overall is a better augment though be a long shot so many bugs resist spicy.
Yadda yadda yadda, mosquito needle under rated, yadda yadda yadda. For real though the lifesteal is just a bonus to how well the weapon does against mosquitoes and larvae.
I personally think that the tick sword with spicy is the best weapon for fighting against spiders since every hit gives you a bit of health and combats really well with the poison you get from form wolf spiders and more so the black widow
The Toenail scimitar is much better, it will slice through spiders like a knife through butter. For the widow you want a weapon with no element. The rusty spear and club of the mother demon are both good for the widow.
personally would put the mosquito needle above the spider dagger. soley on the fact that mosquitos are really easy to kill and that life steal is one of the best extra effects in the game and the wolf spider is harder to kill than most tier 3 bugs which you need to craft that weapon
Depends on skill I guess, personally I find the wolf spiders much easier to kill, and I prefer the poison on the dagger for that extra damage especially against enemies that run like the ants
Another great video keep them coming can’t wait for the new armor list😁💯 one question do you the black ox crossbow is more powerful then the bard’s bow when upgraded?
I think that the termite axe deserves S tier easily because of how easy it is to get and how op chopper is especially with a fire ant build to further lower the defense or just a fire ant shield
definitely one of my favourite builds is the "no defense for u" build. it literally shreds anything i even used that build for my first batch of broodmother fights and a mantis fight. thing is insane.
Ik at least before spicy termite axe was goated, don't think it's as widely used now ofc but I know I seen a video on loadouts and that was the goto for a spicy weapon.
@@bugnazbinnyking1198 fire ant armour + fire ant shield with termite axe and the axe mutation (i forget the name of). just constant defense removal and works surprisingly well.
I'd argue the sour battleaxe deserves to be higher if nothing else than just the fact that nothing save for the widow is resistant to sour, and several enemies (most notably ORC enemies) are weak to it.
It's good for sure but throwing the spiky sprig does more damage than the spear. Spiky sprig also has a bleed effect. Problem with the spear is lots of creatures are resistant to stabbing
I didn't notice this get stated - Club of the Mother Demon and Sour Battle Axe are 2-Handed weapons (if you are a Shield Guy) (I had to Googley it, as I've never had / used them yet and I am a Shield Guy) I've been a bit concerned regarding what I upgrade because I read that the Tier 3 Upgrade "Stones" are limited and do not respawn. I haven't checked, but it has just occurred to me that they can always be Super Duper Duplicated?
You can use the super duper on any item in the game, so yup, you can make more of them. However, when you complete certain parts of the game you will actually unlock the ability to make the tier 3 upgrade materials from bug parts. So although the stones are finite, the bug parts are not and you can use mutations like rascal rogue and dissection expert together with stuffed bugs to get a lot of drops quickly.
@@MaxFox_Gaming Awesome - Thanks for the info ✨ I knew you could make T1+T2 Upgrade Materials with Bug Parts (that's where I am at) but I am happy to be mistaken regarding the T3 UM's 🙂 That takes a lot of pressure off! Yeah I mostly play singleplayer and my main issue with it is just a lack of damage. It's good against things weak to slashing but the Toenail scimitar is FAR superior as a slashing choice
The mosquito needle is a fine weapon and I have no issues with keeping mine repaired. Never met another player who agrees with you either. Maybe it's a user issue.
Using a scimitar or any sword with blademaster and spicy safety is so op. I prefer scimitar because it reduces enemies attack damage by 10%. The scimitar combined with blademaster reduces damage by 40%. If combined with spicy it will be 90% reduced enemy attack damage if the enemy is stabbing or smashing damage. It made the termite hill so easy but I took a mosquito rapier for it and I had no worries taking damage and I do play on WHOA!
The rapiers are truly good. They are the Best against mosquitos, fire ants and larvas even better when you put Salt on them wich are the most annoying insects imo since they jump on you from pretty much any place of the yard specially when youre fighting other insects and on several mixers. Dont get me wrong but your tests help A LOT but they are done with "insects ignore player" so It may be too Easy to underrate It
The Bone Trident has better DPS than the Stinger Spear. Unless you really need the occasional stagger from the 2.5% crit chance, it isn't as good. Also, Sunken Bones are easier to get than Bee Stingers.
but the Tiger Mos Rapier and the macuahuitl make you unkillable with the ladybug armour. If you get corporate kickback after that, you aint dying to anything. I'd say the only weakness is that you do find yourself in fights for longer than High risk High reward builds for sure. But if you suck at blocking, and are tired of dying, Ladybug armour sleek+ lifesteal weapon + Corporate Kickback. You'll virtually never see the game over screen.
Just not true. You will get destroyed by the bosses later in the game in particular the wasp queen and infected brood will tear you apart. You will also deal so little damage that you will be unable to do the MIX.Rs and Javamatic. You may survive but it will take forever to kill everything
Bone spear is easily A tier, but not because of damage. It is by far the easiest t2 1 handed weapon (alongside the bone dagger) to obtain, repairing it is super easy and low risk, and it can stun enemies even though it's a spear. Other t2 weapons require parts from much tougher bugs which can and will one shot you on Woah difficulty when you are trying to transition from t1 to t2, those tougher bugs also have much larger health bars and are quite tanky when using t1 weapons. It will easily carry you through many of the harder bugs. oh, and of course, you can use a shield with it.
Red ant club is t2. You only have to kill red ant soldiers to get it. It claps everything. Also pinch whacker is t3 and extremely easy to get too and better than both imo. Plus all the tougher bugs you're talking about like ladybugs, roly poly, black ox etc are resistant to stabbing
Comparing a tier 3 rapier used in the upper yard to the tier 2 version of it in the lower yard just doesn’t make sense you gotta test the actual weapon against realistic enemies for the progression
Almost like I've done that in a series testing all of the tier 3 weapons in every element. The rapier came last every single video by miles and caused me suffering.
I think Coaltana could be C tier tbh, as the defense event needs some preparation and Spicy is mostly useless late game. Plus it gets quickly outclassed by the Toenail Scimitar having better speed and stamina cost. The Sour Battle Axe is a weird one with only the Moth and the Black Widow respectively having a weakness and resistance to Sour, making it's candy type is basically nonexistant. I don't think it's worth testing the Sour stuff anyways, as the devs could decide to actually make it relevant some day lol

@@kianlangthorne7238 I’d prefer the needles as it hits just a bit quicker the tick macuhuitl
@@VyRl_Jetstream more damage = more heal
Run with a fire staff instead, kill aphids and weevils as you see them in the yard. Killing enemies with the spicy staff cooks the meat you would loot, allowing you to heal immediately from the roast on the go. Much more reliable/safe/efficient
this thumbnail goofy
You forgot to mention the scythe also benefits from assassin mutation, allowing it to have bleeding
True, shame it doesn't benefit from chopper too
12:39 now I know normally on my other comments on these videos are usually disagreed, but I completely agree with this choice for two reasons one this is the main weapon that I use and it is a club which means barbarian can be used on it, and it is very useful against most enemies.
It's verging on S but for me I would take any of the weapons in S over it
Especiall with assassin t3, Poison bleed dagger build is OP
Agreed although I'd reccomend carrying a salty weapon too just so you cover all of the main elements
Weapons changed a lot in 1.3 meaning some of these are a little off now
The video is 5 months ago, use your brain
@@D0qy why you mad bro? 😂 I literally just started playing, I wouldn't bother commenting if I knew the axe was pretty bad back then pls use your brain too.

@@jacepro2827 also I did use my brain, u didn’t
Very nice
Heck yea new weapon teir list
Frick yeah!
@@Paraly5er your 100 tips were great 🙏
My fave youterbur
My most favourite weapon is termite axe
Good list! Think the only major thing I'd change is shunting the pebblet spear up to A or S tier. I'm only unsure because I haven't used it much since the nerf
Yeah the throwing damage took a bit of a hit but it's still decent. Plus javelineer got nerfed too which doesn't help
I would say it's just a worse spiky sprig because sprigs stun things insanely easily. But it's close to spiky sprigs in terms of killing a lot of things.
I love doing the punch wacker, entomology badge, shocking dismissal, Barbarian and a tier 3 shield
I love listening to these playing grounded or even other games, keep it up pls man 🙏
Personally I would have put the larva blade at S and spikey club thing at A, it does do big damage and bleed but it’s so slow and it takes up a lot of energy, rather than the larva blade poisoning, being fast, and taking low energy
Spiky sprig is generic though meaning few enemies are resistant to its damage whereas the blade is slashing making it not as effective
@@Paraly5erthrowing spiky sprigs can get you through the entire game
crazy to know you think so little of the hammer. Underrated. Edit. Black ox hammer is also very useful for taking down black ox. with a salt upgrade
Salt morning star does just as well imo, but it’s up to you
Club of the Mother Demon and Salt Morning star are both far superior in terms of damage even against the black ox beetles
@@Paraly5erit's all opinionated tho. Thanks for the reply! Much ❤ love for you and your content!
A great tier list, but there was something wrong with the recording. There's this weird, scrawny thing in the bottom-right.
Good one!
@@Paraly5er I try.
Tysm for doing different tiers
Glad you enjoyed it!
okay, just gonna say that in of itself, tiger mosquito/mosquito rapiers suck, but when upgraded, specifically with an element, it becomes S tier for how early you can get it.
if you have Ant-Nihilator you can just spam it through the fire ant cave pretty early game (without any element) and if you do that, you can make the weapon salty, and have fire ant armour, and when those two are in tandem you can absolutely DESTROY the termite hill, with your only weakness being how much repair glue you felt like bringing.
Ok but rusty spear is stronger, can be obtained at the same time and can be thrown for high damage too
@@Paraly5er needle is fast and consistent with most enemies, if you can kill it once, there is a good chance you can kill it again with the same amount of trouble
“Which means you have to beat the mantis” on the scythe that COMES FROM THE MANTIS
Fresh toenail scimitar (all infected, musquitos, ladybirds, fire ants and ladybird larva)
Salt morningstar (black ox beetle, roly poly, wasps, termites and antlions)
Spicy termite axe (all spiders except infected spiders, also decent for black widows with the chopping perk active)
mighty bard bow (stinkbugs, bees and moth)
anything else that isnt mentioned is too easy kill so just use whatever
i tried to make this a 2H build but i realy dont like 2H builds, i need my torch or my shield in my ofhand
Seems like good choices. Would consider something mighty for taking on the black widow though. Maybe a mighty termite axe for the chopping buff
In my opinion the sour battle axe is one of the weapon that u can use for mostly everything like the coaltana because as you said there's almost no bug weak to it but there's not that much that is resistant to it to.
Yeah but I prefer having a few weapons to cover all weakness than 1 that covers none
Bro this is the best tier list I’ve ever seen
Thanks Eren, although not everyone would agree haha
I am using black ox hammer for kill black ox beetles
The weapons are lot more complicated than before the update
I can say from experience that the tick machuiatl is the best way to kill the infected broodmother if built correctly. If u run in with thors pendant and full broodmother gear maxed out u physically can't die even if u fail to block with ur ladybirdshield. Ofcourse also run the black ox burgers and telling u rn it is crucial to use the tick machuiatl
It absolutely is not the best way to kill it. You can die and the black ox burger makes very little difference to the damage you take. The toenail scimitar is by far the best weapon for taking on the inf brood
You can get prod smacker easy without complete any mix.r
1.go to black anthill
2.go to the glass tube (the one with prod smacker and chest)
3.turn on wide interaction
4.crouch and press e at right timing
5.and there you go

I was using the spicy coaltana in the director schmector fight and it was doing fine. Felt like it was doing more than my mint mace
He has 75% resistance to both
It should do more because the the mint mace has a generic damage type with the mint augment. And he resists generic more than slashing.
Fresh overall is a better augment though be a long shot so many bugs resist spicy.
Hey paralyzer I am struggling with the inf brood mother any tips?( i am using widow dagger and brood set)

I like the tick machawakakaweewa for mid game but late game there are way better options like the toenail schinitar
Agreed
Yadda yadda yadda, mosquito needle under rated, yadda yadda yadda. For real though the lifesteal is just a bonus to how well the weapon does against mosquitoes and larvae.
Against mosqutioes???? They're weak to chopping and slashing, the needle is not good lol
I hate chasing after the bone spear underwater because it always floats to the top after you throw it. Stinger spear and Rusty spear are better.
Just get it before it floats/sinks
Great video as always, I recommend you put some background music on the videos, it really does make it a bit more enjoyable,
Cheers Mate.
I've considered it but TH-cam's copyright system is a BALL ACHE. Could always play your own background music
when antlion sword came out spicy antlion was so good, then they had to make the coaltana and make everything resistant to spicy
love the ax i use it with the chopper mutation in every fight
Another great video keep them coming can’t wait for the new armor list😁💯 one question do you the black ox crossbow is more powerful then the bard’s bow when upgraded?
I'm not too sure, I think the bards bow is better in multiplayer but the crossbow is still better in solo especially for scarabs
Early tier 2 I love going with the mosquito needle for the heal and just spam attack
Red ant club is the best early tier 2 imo
I think that the termite axe deserves S tier easily because of how easy it is to get and how op chopper is especially with a fire ant build to further lower the defense or just a fire ant shield
definitely one of my favourite builds is the "no defense for u" build. it literally shreds anything i even used that build for my first batch of broodmother fights and a mantis fight. thing is insane.
@@riot_rot What is the "no defence for you" build?
Ik at least before spicy termite axe was goated, don't think it's as widely used now ofc but I know I seen a video on loadouts and that was the goto for a spicy weapon.
I do think it's a great choice I think the scimitar just edges it for me though. There is definitely an argument to be made for it in S though
Widow is weak to sour now so quite strong
Tier 1 Spear is S class. Has the highest damage multiplier when thrown. Pair that with it's moderate damage and excellent speed and range.
It's good for sure but throwing the spiky sprig does more damage than the spear. Spiky sprig also has a bleed effect. Problem with the spear is lots of creatures are resistant to stabbing
You can use the hammers against robots which is really effective.
Not really tbh, they’re too slow so can’t get a 3 hit combo in without getting hit yourself
Another amazing video Paraly5er! ❤
Thanks so much Wallpops
I didn't notice this get stated - Club of the Mother Demon and Sour Battle Axe are 2-Handed weapons (if you are a Shield Guy)
(I had to Googley it, as I've never had / used them yet and I am a Shield Guy)
I've been a bit concerned regarding what I upgrade because I read that the Tier 3 Upgrade "Stones" are limited and do not respawn.
@@MaxFox_Gaming Awesome - Thanks for the info ✨
I knew you could make T1+T2 Upgrade Materials with Bug Parts (that's where I am at) but I am happy to be mistaken regarding the T3 UM's 🙂
That takes a lot of pressure off!
And means over time I could get all weapons to max, possibly with several varieties of elements, (so I can't really make any un-doable mistakes).
You can craft t3 materials, might be a good idea to explore somewhere evil looking
The tick is most useful in farmin silk in the hedge you can just run through beating the hell out of spiders never having to use a bandage or heal.

I think the tick weapon is very underrated. Especially in multiplayer one can take all the damage from bosses and the other goes lil fist
I used it against the infected brood mother and it worked like a charm! It really is underrated
Yeah nah that shit is hellllla strong imo, I'd put it in A tier personally just because of how good it is against spiders.
??? Literally one of the lowest DPS and durabilities in the game
I agree with the tick whatever weapon however, I use it combined with the fire ant shield to help block on whoa mode as the enemies hit SUPER hard

They are the Best against mosquitos, fire ants and larvas even better when you put Salt on them wich are the most annoying insects imo since they jump on you from pretty much any place of the yard specially when youre fighting other insects and on several mixers. Dont get me wrong but your tests help A LOT but they are done with "insects ignore player" so It may be too Easy to underrate It
I like to carry stuff for pebblet hammers and a shield, I just make hammers and whip them at bugs.

The Bone Trident has better DPS than the Stinger Spear. Unless you really need the occasional stagger from the 2.5% crit chance, it isn't as good. Also, Sunken Bones are easier to get than Bee Stingers.
How so? Blahable's calculator shows they have the same DPS and that's without taking the crit chance into account
Increased crit will always be good, especially for a weapon with high speed like a spear.
Ngl personally I hate getting sunken bones more than stingers but that's just how I feel about it
They do the EXACT same damage according to the wiki. The only difference is the trident can stun but the stinger spear has increased crit
but the Tiger Mos Rapier and the macuahuitl make you unkillable with the ladybug armour.
