If you have a press pass to high-end sports or other events, travel extensively, are part of a combat camera team, and have been dependent upon your 1Dx, get the R1. None of those but have enough fun coupons, get the R5.
It doesn't matter what nonsense Canon tells you about the autofocus in the R5 MK2, it's simply not as good as the R1 and anyone claiming that is shilling for the brand. Canon also had their shills claiming the R7 had the autofocus of the R3. It wasn't even close!!
I presently have the 5Dsr , neither of these would make sense for my photography which is mainly landscape, run and gun. Where is the replacement for the 5dsr ? Say 70 + mp built-in zebras (blinkies)before you shoot, WiFi, articulating AND removable rear screen. Maybe then I'll take a look.

I am still waiting for a higher resolution R5 (60mp). So, R5ii has been tracking and focusing. Am I going to buy it ? Without looking at the wildlife pro’s vids first and their critiques, probably not !
I think they put the wrong sensor in the wrong camera and get the wrong camera to high resolution I'm thinking of flagship camera will have high resolution clean resolution but instead I feel like the R5 2 could be the flagship camera
Non of those ! The Canon EOS R1 comes 8 month later than the Sony A9III and the Canon do not have global shutter ! Still an enormous camera size and weight.

Canon R6 Mk III may be better choice if its not too expensive as these ones are.
