What was it like to Travel to Japan before the Pandemic?

Back in September 2019, I went to Japan! AKA the land of the rising sun. It was a lot of fun and looking back at it now, I am glad I was able to go prior to the massive lock downs! Below is what I paid for the five night trip:
Round trip Plane Ticket = $1,050.90
Hotel = $231.24
food and souvenirs = $540
Rail Pass = $275 (Don't need if not traveling far)
SIM Card = $40
PassMo card = $60
Total = $2,197.14
