My wife and I just got back from Tokyo. We are terrible planners and didn’t have anything planned out. We found this video a couple of days before we left and decided to try it out. Thanks for the tips, it definitely gave us a vacation to remember.

Your voice is so right for your content, it's so easy to watch your videos, thank you!
tbh i would avoid kabukicho it's really dirty and there's not much there. definitely visit shibuya and asakusa they give you 2 entirely different experiences of tokyo old and new.
Always depends what you're into, the new kabukicho tower is a pretty cool little place with games, food and drink with a very cool neon aesthetic, personally though since its neighboring golden gai I think thats the best place to grab a drink with the locals

My wife and I are making this our guide for our own 5-day trip to Tokyo end-Sep 2024. Thank you for your video! Do you have any suggested hotels based on your itinerary?
I don't have any hotels in particular to recommend, pretty much every hotel i've been in Japan was great (if not small) and never really had a bad one. There are some unique hotels in Tokyo however, though I have not been there personally I heard Hotel Chinzanso is really cool because have an artificial sea of clouds garden that is incredible to walk around

@@InakaAdventure Incredibly busy; I spent most of the time walking about the city, so I had little time to relax unfortunately. More focused on seeing as much as possible. Very informative! I've been 3 times now (4th trip next year) and plenty of stuff I've yet to do in Tokyo. Just be aware of the touts in Kabuchico - they stand out a mile and hassle you. Only place in Japan I've encountered anything like that...
I was in Japan(Tokyo, Osaka etc etc) few days ago for 11 days and we were extensively using Suica. The app was downloaded to our Apple iPhone wallet and we used extensively for metro train trips and purchasing stuff from shops and wending machines. Just top it up from your bank account as required. It`s pretty easy to use especially at the train stations just show/tap your mobile phone. Japan is a wonderful and very clean country. We live in Australia. Thanks for the video.

No everyone arrives in Tokyo in the morning but there is usually at least a late afternoon or evening on your first day so to make use of that its a fun first thing to see the scramble but not enough time necessarily to see yoyogi / meiji. I dont think I suggested seeing the scramble again on day three, are you sure you're not confused?
@@InakaAdventure the reason for my confusion is that on the third day before you suggest us to go to tokyo tower, you suggest us going to somewhere near the CROSSING, and probably because of that, I thought these places are the same lol

Really like those prototype pants. Switching to wearing high waisted trousers has really improved my style and my confidence as well but where on earth do you get high rise underwear to go underneath???
Thanks for all these travel ideas! I‘m visiting Japan in summer and i thought the suica card on my iphone wallet is enough to take the metro in tokyo, osaka and kyoto. Is that right? Or do I need a physical one? Thank you :)
@@InakaAdventure Thank you so much!!! I'll take note of that... Btw I just found out that there are actually 2 teamlabs. One is Teamlab Planet and I kinda forgotten the other one. Are they just close by or quite far apart?
Yo! Travelling to Japan in late Jan-Feb 2024: Any recommendations for the winter (Unfortunately not going north of the Kanto region)... and potentially any warnings for what to avoid or be careful of during the winter :)
Nagano and Gifu are amazing in Winter, great skii / snowboard spots & you can sit in the outdoor hot springs as the snow falls. If you have tattoos you can get banned from some Hot Springs but there are many that accept people with them too, specifically in Kusatsu & Kinosaki Onsen

I can't wait to be in Japan from November 20 to December 5. Will be in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka.
Should check out my other videos about kyoto and osaka in that case!
Does the ICOCA card still exist as can’t seem to find the app?
Apps on Iphone only and still exists

Cheers! Thinking of what city to do next, any suggestions?
@@InakaAdventure Kyushu!
I was being confused watching too many videos about Japan. And my trip is right after 3 days. I was thinking anyone who has some specific information and found this video in front. Thank you. I think it's gonna be helpful 👍
Glad I could help
Estuve 5 días en tokyo so feliz por eso❤enero pasado del 12 al 18
This is a helpful video ,your guides are the best , Really great
Cheers!
Really like those prototype pants. Switching to wearing high waisted trousers has really improved my style and my confidence as well but where on earth do you get high rise underwear to go underneath???
Thank you for this! Did you say ICOCA can be used the same as Suica? In both Osaka and Tokyo?? What about in Kyoto?
All the different IC cards work anywhere in Japan now, I'm currently using my icoca in yamagata
@@InakaAdventure Thank you so much! I read more about it and we can buy it at KIX since we are arriving there!
Thanks for the video. May i know where can you recommend to go during winter in Tokyo?
Since its a city destination is mostly the same all year round. You might get some snow in winter and see illuminations though
🤩🤩🤩 Lovely 🤩 🤩 🤩
Thanks for all these travel ideas! I‘m visiting Japan in summer and i thought the suica card on my iphone wallet is enough to take the metro in tokyo, osaka and kyoto. Is that right? Or do I need a physical one? Thank you :)
The suica on iPhone is enough for everything
We are planning to take the $11 boat cruise from Asakusa to Odaiba 😬. Teamlab should be close to Odaiba right?
Yeah You can can take the monorail to Toyosu to get to Teamlab from there
@@InakaAdventure Thank you so much!!!
Tokyo is a place I called home 🗼
Omg this is so helpful thank you
Happy to help
