Your videos are to the point, clear, and relatable. I'm a professional technical trainer for an automotive software company, I use some of your videos not just for learning about 3D Printing, but also as a reference so our production videos/training remains simple, relatable, and transparent. I'm proud of your content, I hope you are too.
I just bought an Ender 3 V2 and It should come next week. I've watched a LOT of 3D printing channels. Yours is my favorite. Your personality really shines and I will be watching a ton of your videos. You seem like such a happy, upbeat, great guy. Thanks for your help! I can't wait to learn 'a million stuff' from you! :)
There's one more i printed to fit into my printer and that is the board fan guard. It's visible here 7:42 on the right of the "deep purple" text where it is exposed by default on ender 3s, and things could get into it. The fan guard covers it to prevent accidental jamming from foreign object to enter while still allowing the fan to 'breathe' 👍👍
love the tried it at home t-shirt great video. neating up your ender 3 is always a nice to have. i needed some of these to finish mine. the video is also great for 1st time ender 3 owners.
Would love to see a video on your modifications to the PSU. Recently got into 3d printing and have already modified my PSU to run lights and a Raspberry Pi.
damn why did i not find this video sooner, as a wheelchair user the filament holder near the floor is GOD send for me, now we just need an extruder arm that is long enough haha
Could you do this for the V2? If there are any unique? I already am gonna use the filament spool adapter for my V2! I hate it being on the gantry... Hate the idea of 1KG of weight hanging over the bed lol.
Hi! The LCD knob, V-slot covers, and filament spool adapter will work just fine on the V2. I'm not 100% certain about that particular bed handle, but I'll give it a try in a couple of days. The display cover and drawers aren't needed for the V2. Oh, on the V-slot covers, if you end up with one or two that are a little too long, you can trim them with the flush cutters that came with the printer. 👍
Liked seeing those upgrades, including the blue racing stripes! I had to put them on my 3V2. Thought for a second the lazy-suzy would be wood PLA too, but hope sprang eternal ;) Again, great job and +20 pts for mentioning the names of the designers for the upgrades...classy and great character shown.
Hi BB I saw your spool holder upgrade and i could see that it kind of puts the weight on the left hand side of the printer, I was wondering would it not be better to have it some where center mass so that you do not pull things left. The way I see it its like having an old shelby where its only power on one wheel the back left one meaning that when you step on the gas the car moves right and wise versa, now in this case it kind of puts weight on left hand side might put force on the left hand side meaning you might screw up the gantry the pulleys and belt drivers, you might not see it now but give it time and I'm sure you would start to see some tear on one side of things maybe hear a squeak from the bearings because the weight is off balance
That yellow bit? It was just a section of slot cover left over from a set I had printed for another printer, and I had cut a notch in it at one end for the wire.
Where would I find info on the power supply part with the switches? Awesome presentation by the way. All needed info and no BS. Also like you give credit to others and not claim it for yourself. I'm liking the channel the more I watch.
Howdy Bryan I have not done any upgrades to mt ender 3's but I think I will start today. Is there any way you could shoot me the link for the upper and lower drag chains the ones I find are not like yours and that's what I want. Also can you please do the video on the PSU cover have been wanting to upgrade to a larger Noctua fan 80 - 120mm so yes would love to see that video. And once again another great video looking forward to more soon.
I'm sure I've got the drag chain marked as a favorite on Thingiverse. I'll look and see if I can find it. That's been on the printer for about 2 years now! I'm not _super_ happy with it because it's not oriented the way a proper drag chain would be. It doesn't fold over itself like it's supposed to. It's more like having segmented armor for the cable.
The Ender 3 is certainly the VW Bug of 3D printers... a reference that only older guys will get, as there were innumerable aftermarket upgrades available for the original Bugs.
Haha. Yeah! I had a 1973 Super Beetle (in the mid-1980s) and a 2001 turbo. I think in the early 1980s you could build an entire VW Beetle with parts from a J.C. Whitney catalog! 😄
Hi bryan my name is cam and I need some help and advice about my ender 3 do you have a way for me to email you the issues I am facing or some personal advice on how to setup and print using my ender 3
I would like to see functional upgrades to the Aquila. There are so many videos for the Ender 3 functional upgrades that it is hard to choose the cheaper competitor just because once you get it you don’t have as much info on the upgrades.
You mentioned the extruder knob as an upgrade... did you also print the aqua levers below it? I am not a fan of the design and have seen people with printed ones to fix the design to make feeding the filament easier, however, I am not able to find those files. Great video!!!!!
Thank you for the video, it was very helpful. I have another problem I would like to hear your input on. My Voxelab Aquila printer sometimes will start a job and will arbitrarily decide without any outside interference that the print job has completed. It stops wherever it is moves the nozzle to the back left side of the plate and on the screen says the job has completed. After clearing what was just printed off the build plate I can start the job again immediately and it will print flawlessly. Any thoughts on why this happens? Thank you again for your input I do rely heavily on your knowledge.
I need help. I just found you. I had a back up on filament. I spoke so people on FB and they helped but now that I removed all the back up. It melted a very tiny wire. And now my print will not center
`Thx Bryan great videos please make a video about the modifications to the PSU, we use these printers in the classroom and de modifactions makes it safe thx :)
First of all I would like to say BIG THANK YOU for making these videos. Where did you get the part on the left hand side of your machine the part with the gear knob ? Also fitting instructions if possible. Please stay safe Bill M8-) Scotland
I've seen you using Printed Solid Jessie PLA in some of your recent videos. What is your impression of it? For me it is quickly becoming my go to filament of choice, due in no small part to the 2kg i get every month in my Jessie box. That said, I have found it to be reliable and easy to print and I am generally very happy with the finished product.

"A massage for the dead." I hadn't heard that one before. 😀 I particularly like the drawers and mounting the spool holder on the front left corner of the printer. Both of those have a lot of value to me. I also find it important to not have an exposed circuit board on the back of the screen. V-slot covers anywhere but on the bottom extrusions to keep the crud from collecting? Yeah, that's 100% printer dress-up. So's the replacement knob. But some people enjoying personalizing their printers. Other people consider them to be purely a tool that needs no adornment. Thanks for sharing your opinion and thanks for watching! 👍

Great shirt Bryan if it interests me and you say don’t try this at home too bad I’m 49 I’m trying it. Great video as always

Just printed the dual tray for the ender 3. Unfortunately the bed mounting bolts interfere with the tray case in the y movement.
are you going to cover that cover ever? i would like to see the reasoning and upgrade for it.
Great t-shirt, as always 🤣
Thanks! 😁

How do you feed the extruder in the back with that spool holder on the front? Do you use some filament guide?
Can you link me to those cable chains?

It would be great if you can get back to me not sure what I need to replace
if you have a press fit drive gear you can file the gear off and use a new one. thats what i did for my ender 3
Are any of theese backwards compatible by any chance?
Well, I'm showing them on an Ender-3, not a Pro or a V2. I think the only step backwards from that would be the old Ender-2 (non-Pro)
