    These things killed the back of my knee. They slide down after awhile and my tendons behind the knee were sore as hell. I'm going back to the leatt dual axis

    Last year, I bought the LEATT DUAL AXIS KNEE/SHIN GUARDS, are these any better in weight and comfort? I’m sure they breathe better!

    How about impact protection? I have the Alpinestars Bionic elbow guards (similar design) and when I landed on my elbow during a fall it f___ng hurt, which doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence

    Rocky which is better? Alpinestars sx-1 v2 or Fox titan pro d3o?

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Personally, I like the SX-1 a little more. It just sits a little closer to the knee when your legs is bent.

      Titian Pro D30 is Junk. All the hinges broke after two rides, no crashes.

    These are the Leatts with the third strap?

  • @andrusha77
    @andrusha77 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I hate that thse only have two straps. I glued (marine/flexible epoxy) additional straps to the top and bottom to keep things on my legs.

    I've been comparing these to the Leatt Dual Axis vs Fox Titan pro d30, Which will be the best considering that all 3 kinda fall in the same price bracket & I'm looking for something for Trails/Enduro.
    As Fox is LV2 Cert
    Plus, I've heard issues with Fox titan Pro's poor built/stitching & durability too. What about that? Which one to go for?

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would either choose the Dual Axis or the SX-1 V2. Both have great protection and are comfortable. I don't like the box as much do to how long it is and how far the knee cup sticks out with the knee bent. - Chase

    Would you recommend using these over the Leatt Z-Frame?

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would probably go with the Z-Frame. I like that it has four straps vs just two and when I tried them on, they sat deeper over my knee. But they are double the price. - Chase

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  ปีที่แล้ว

      These are as thick as any other knee guard for the most part. Asking if they "fit" with a Tech 7 totally depends on your calf size.

    I was thinking about buying these.. I know they are meant for motocross and all butcan I use them on a road trip? I'm about to do a 300 mile trip and there will be some points where I need to go off road and I'm talking about riverbanks, dirt/pebble trails etc. Can I put these over my pants?

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      What kind of pants? I think you would have a hard time wearing these over anything but pretty tight pants. I don't know how well they would stay in place either. I haven't heard of or seen anyone wear them over the top of their pants. - Chase
