I leave my red sign down for a duel after Pontiff Sulyvahn and I equip Obscuring Ring + Untrue Dark Ring, I then go to a grassy area and use the lay down gesture. People get so tired of looking for me that they jump off and die.
Yeah it seems like a lot of people don't even know about the black separation crystal, I've done stuff like this and they usually just jump off and die, even at SL120
If I got a good look at Donald Trump I'd probably jump off the nearest drop anyway so save yourself a ring slot :p

don't pick up items in PvP so freely, sometimes cheaters changing items stats and having them to other players, so they get banned for nothing

On max settings? Or just run them? And what do you consider a generation? PS4 and 4.5 are same generation? Cut down version of Battlefield counts as same generation on consoles as a full one on PC?

I got invade by an hiding player one time in boreal valley. Never saw the guy but I never looked for him lol, I kept doing my stuff and open my bonfires, restart the game once I was done and needed to go to the shrine. I'm sure the guy was super proud of himself and thought I had ragequit, so everyone end up happy in the end :)
why would you ever trust a random item drop near an edge. like you have to be pretty naive to just turn your back to an enemy near an edge.

Out of curiosity for how long it would take for them to figure out where I was, I camoflauged and just sat there waiting. I actually got up to get a drink and some food at one point, and the guy still hadn't found me when I got back.
MudkipMonkey you would want a video of someone, camping, a poor dude looking for his target for what I'm assuming around 30 minutes... you'd literally just see a guy sitting down not moving. I mean if you're into that. Too each his own I guess. 🤔
I got invaded once while trying to get into the rafters of the church, so I just ran down one of the off shoots and camouflaged up. Had two red invaders and three blues running around trying to find each other before I finally just went back to killing things.
the best place, I think, is near halfway fortress. You appear as a cross (there are literally thousands), you can troll them repeatedly and nearly always break line of sight to do it again.

I mean it's a level 250+ build...this isn't some level 120 meta..ha..did you want exact stat numbers? it's a very good build. you can basically carry 3 weapons and 3 sheilds as long as they are moderate in weight. with havels sheild obviously. And prisoners chain. and also ring of favor. 4th ring is up to you. I choose silver serpent ring +2 personally

I always co-op with my friend, and disguising ourselves is our favorite thing.
The best places we discovered were the Grand Archives (as the host, I wasn’t even disguised, just laying down) and Snowfield (you barely see the embers thanks to the snowstorm).
At the Grand Archives bonfire, there’s a couple of statues you can safely hide behind by laying down, which will cover up your body easily (since your body will go into the wall), and having a friend disguise as another statue and sit in front of you will perfectly place you and the friend behind the statue. Was never found.
Another spot in the archives was at the dead end where there’s just a corpse in a chair, my friend disguised herself as a globe (I believe?) next to the chair and I just did the lay gesture next to her again, and despite the invader checking in several times, they never saw us.
We just reached the archives in NG+, I’m excited to play hide and seek once more
This is 2 years now but this vid just got recommended again. We’re about NG+ 5?? Another good spot we found was at the Keep Ruins bonfire, just around the wall disguised as one of the stick things. We had invaders roll into us, not realizing we weren’t breaking, and then walk away to try to find us. Went on for almost an hour of them being hella persistent. Some would leave and then another invader would immediately take their place, it was so damn amusing lmao
There was also this one time at the Dragon Barracks bonfire me and my friend hid from an invader who had been chasing us. My friend, being the host, decided to just lay down in a patch of grass in the corner near the fire while I got an unlucky disguise of a damn chair out in the open. So I moved next to a wall and covered the backend with the dead ivy/branches(?). Invader ran past us so many times we eventually felt bad for him and just showed ourselves as soon as he left. I swear soulsborne players are extremely blind at times.
The Donkey Kong Country music is the icing on the big fat troll-ly cake.
