He still didn’t hold a candle to Joffrey, in my opinion. He was awful, of course, but he at least had the courage to fight most of his own battles. When the Greyjoy’s tried to get Theon back, he ran straight out and fought them himself, without any armor, and won. He was a sadistic piece of garbage, but that at least should be commended. There’s just something truly infuriating about Joffrey’s constant arrogance and eventual cowardice when he hid with the women during the battle of the Blackwater. Him falling in love with the crossbow was the perfect metaphor for him as a character. It let him be as spiteful and malicious as he wanted to be, but also let him be far enough away so he wasn’t in danger while someone (or something, in this case) does the dirty work for him. He was a spoiled, entitled little shit who caused nothing but misery to anyone he encountered. I 100% agree that Ramsay was a disgusting person, but I think Joffrey was just on an entirely different level.

I can't stand her. But maybe since you're a fan you can help explain the one major problem I have with her character. For Battle Of The Bastards, she knew full well that Jon Snow was going to go to war with Ramsay. She also had a pending request to get the army of The Vale to come help out. For reasons unknown to me, she willfully kept that information from Jon despite knowing that it would have major influence over the battle. She probably could've even convinced him to wait to start that battle. What benefit was there to remaining silent? Because in being silent, she almost got her brother killed.

Many a time on this show, it is said that only death may pay for life, so what better way to die than in the same fire where Daenerys Targaryen brings dragons back into the world.

@@darthvader1772 - It’s not clear in the show that Mirri did anything to Drogo. In the book, it’s a lot more clear. Drogo did not follow Mirri’s instructions when she treated his wound. She had put a lamb skin poultice on his wound and told him to keep it there for 10 days and 10 nights. She warned that there would be itching and burning, but to drink neither wine nor milk of the poppy to dull the pain. Drogo blew her off, saying he’d drink what he wanted. After a few days, he ripped off the lamb skin because it burned so badly, and started drinking milk of the poppy to deal with the pain. By the time Mirri looked at it again when Drogo fell from his horse, the wound had become irrevocably infected. She used Rhaego’s life for the blood magic ritual, and she copped to that.

Yes. Winterfell should have fallen and everyone retreated south, eventually to Kings Landing and stopped them there. I always thought it could’ve been somewhat simple (relatively speaking) to deal with the White Walkers. Remember all that wildfire stored under every borough of Kings Landing? If Dany and Jon took their army south (picking up any people they find along the way), they could’ve ended up in KL, neutralized Cersei’s army since they’d have been at full strength, then waited for the dead army. They could’ve essentially done what Jaime did to the Unsullied by emptying out the city and leaving a small contingent of soldiers there so it still seemed occupied. When the army approached, let them breach the walls and lure them inside. When the bulk of the dead have entered the city, light that wildfire and burn them all to ash, letting the dragons and soldiers deal with any stragglers left behind. It’d be hard for the Night King to resurrect an army that’s literally nothing but dust. I guess it wouldn’t have been a simple solution and it would’ve cost them Kings Landing, but I think it would’ve been the safest option for all involved.

@@heathermillsphantomlimb9314 Bro aint no way they would have beaten the walkers if it got that far.
Defeating them at Winterfell was the only way to win.
If they lost there, the war was basically over. The Night King would have had way too large an army by the time he went South.
I also understand why it had to happen over night. The walkers don't sleep or rest.
You have to aim for a quick and short battle, especially when you have dragons that can burn hordes of walkers at a time.
The children and the first men didn’t havw dragons, which is why the first winter was so long.
But with dragons, the battle can be decided at a much quicker time.

I cannot help but feel that Littlefinger's demise was underdone. For perhaps the most ingenious villain of the whole show to be killed off for what felt just like throwing in a death to keep in line with the 'characters get killed off in this show' thing, in a way that does not advance the story at all, was a waste.
