    Sorry I forgot to show a step in the video. At 11:51 after your phone is finished with the initial setup you need to copy the magisk.apk file from pc to your phone.

      @Ko6pa 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for this guide, mate !
      But I have a question. Do you want to say, that among all the files in downloaded folder i only need ONE of them, after boot into twwrp, only the magisk ? No dm verity, No Verify or any else ?

    • @MTGamesMT
      @MTGamesMT  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Ko6pa Any time buddy. Correct, everything is just as is shown in the video with the exception of magisk.apk which I had forgotten to mention in the video. The root method is completely different than the other one where you would've needed that "verify" and other stuff and thus there's no need for them here.

    Hey @MTGamesMT, regardless of the version of twrp I use, I keep receiving the message: "Set Warranty Bit: Recovery" after restart and TWRP never starts, any option?

    • @MTGamesMT
      @MTGamesMT  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No idea man sorry. Not only is the video 5 years old but I myself have never experienced this message. Google is your friend. I did a quick search and found several links to forums and videos. Good luck

    do you still need to anti root removal tool like other tutorials have? Yours is the only one it seems that only flashes the newer modified Magisk.zip. Thanks!

    • @MTGamesMT
      @MTGamesMT  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You're quite welcome. Actually this tutorial was derived from various other tutorials. And no, I didn't have to use the anti root removal, but then again I can only speak for my phone's model. SM-G960F. I think it all comes down to the model and oem unlock option. If you have control over that option and can keep it permanently active, then you should be able to follow my tutorial and achieve the same result. If for some reason your oem unlock gets lost/reset/etc then you'll wind up having to wait 7 days. Unfortunately I don't know how/what precisely dictates the way the oem unlock behaves on the various different models. Hope this helps.

      Yes just flash your stock rom over it using Odin. This should get rid of root privileges but I couldn't tell you for sure about warranty. Not sure if something gets triggered upon rooting the first time to void it forever. I've heard that this happens.

    • @MTGamesMT
      @MTGamesMT  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@pumpx_x777 Sorry I don't know as it's a pretty complex issue. It depends on several things such as the phone's model, variant/region and root method and I'm not an expert on those things. I doubt you can get a definitive answer but a good place to ask would probably be XDA forums. Generally speaking, when you root you're taking a pretty severe chance because something (anything actually) could go wrong in the process and your phone might get hard-bricked. So when I decide to root my devices I always have the mentality that from that point on there's no turning back in terms of warranty and this stuff. I don't root unless I am ready to accept that. There's a reason phones aren't sold already rooted. Good luck.

    I have rooted my phone but my Samsung account sop working and also when i sent a new pin for my phone it doesn't work

    • @MTGamesMT
      @MTGamesMT  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm no expert on the matter but I'd do some basic troubleshooting such as rebooting and trying to create a new Samsung account to try to determine where the problem lies. You may also want to try logging on with your existing Samsung account on someone else's phone. Worst case scenario you can just flash your phone's stock rom back on using Odin.

    • @wa2ooool228
      @wa2ooool228 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@blazingevildee Okay so now try creating a new samsung account and see if that works on the s9 plus. If it does you might want to just use that account on the s9 plus. If it doesn't work, then flash back your s9 plus's stock rom using Odin to revert everything back to working order. I've heard that the s9 pus is a bit more finicky to root than the s9.
