Bangkok is very famous for it's amazing street food and we can't wait to start eating our way through Bangkok to try some of the best street food in the world.
We are staying in the Sukhumvit area of Bangkok and our first dish is at Zaew Noodle where we try pork balls with egg noodles. Find it here: goo.gl/maps/aV...
For our second dish we head right across the street to try one of the dishes we've been most excited for, Mango Sticky Rice. Try it here: goo.gl/maps/za...
We then head down the road for another dish we couldn't wait to try. Khao Soi. Find it here: goo.gl/maps/CV...

For pad Thai most of the time being cooked at entire levels to medium and pad Thai much have fresh lemon and you have to squeeze it yourself every thing else is up to individual some people have a spicy 🌶️ reading following sweet, salty, sour butter upon individual some may don’t have spices at all but if tackling about Thai food every table has to have a dressing ingredient fish sauce with pepper vinegar with pepper sugar up to individual not everyone has a same taste enjoy and have a good time from Arizona us 🇺🇸

Pad Thai is not a favorite dish for native Thais, other noodle dishes are more popular. I came to like it in the 80’s when visiting Patong in Phuket and seeing long line(all foreigners)at the vendor in night market. It then becoming one of my favorites…you should try to find that type of vendor and it will floor you with its taste!
Som Tum is popular among Thai ladies, but you should watch out for the spiciness and cleanliness( it should pair with other dishes, like fried chicken or Mooping…pork skewers).

The topping on the sticky rice is roasted mung bean! 😉
The condiments (usually fish sauce, sugar, chili vinegar, hot crushed red pepper) are there so you could season the dish to your liking. Best to taste everything first before you add anything to it tho, but you're already doing that! 😉 Happy eating!

Hello! Thank you for your video. We were in Thailand in 1986. It has really changed! We stayed with our friends, who worked at the American Embassy. I remember going to the temples--a must see, very interesting. Take a boat ride on the river, it's very eye-opening to see how people live. We went to a traditional folk show (a bit touristy, but fun). The women were very beautiful and performed the Fingernail Dance. The elephants were amusing, too. You can skip the snake farm (our son, then 4, enjoyed it, we got some pretty scary pictures). If you have some clothes that you like, have them duplicated at a local tailor. It's very inexpensive. My husband bought me some beautiful sapphires at Venus Jewelry, near the American Embassy. We spent a weekend in Pattya--lovely beaches. We didn't make it to Chang Mai, but I'll be interested if you go there. Our friend was a DEA agent, and part of his job was eradicating poppy fields (a source of opium). Enjoy your travels!

When the chef made food for “”farang “”. Chef will careful about chilly. That why first of your noodle bowl did not testy.

I know it's been 3 months late but I realized a lot of foreigners that has just visited Thailand had similar confusion when there's soup or curry in separate bowls from the rice/noodles. So the rule of thumb here is that normally if you eat dried dishes like that noodles or chicken with rice for example, sometimes it can get a little dry and hard to swallow. People in the past don't usually chase their food with drinks so we usually have soup to help chase down each bites instead. If something is meant to be eaten inside the broth, they usually pour in the broth for you. And if you're given a plate of rice and a separate bowls of curry or other foods, the way to eat them is to put the curry and whatever dishes you've selected on to the rice. The reason it's given separately is because 1) Some people don't like their rice to be soggy or to have too much curry's soup in their rice as it can be overwhelming because the taste is strong. So we usually just put as much as we like on the rice and 2) Thai cuisines are usually categorized as a single dish meal (Eaten by 1 person) or a shared meal where many several dishes are put in the middle of the table and shared. Everyone is usually served a single plate of rice each and you just select & put whichever dishes you'd like on to your plates. If you want to know which type of foods are often shared at home and which one's often eaten individually, just know that "If you can put it in a separate plating/bowls, from your carbs, then it can be shared!" 😊 Hope this helps clear things up!

Actually, coconut milk does not contain sugar. It is seasoned with salt to bring out the sweet flavor of the glutinous rice.
And beans are not soybeans. It is a mung bean that has been roasted over a fire.

In the video, I saw you asking about Pad Thai Sauce. Pad Thai sauce uses 3 main ingredients: fish sauce, coconut sugar, tamarind juice.
Cooking by yourself is quite difficult. Because we have to use thin noodles, dried shrimp, yellow tofu. Ground roasted peanuts, chives, bean sprouts, eggs, sweet radish, Thai shallots.
There are also fresh vegetables that are eaten together, namely fresh chives and banana blossoms.
If you have time, I suggest you go to Phra Pathom Chedi. There is a night market there. Popular shops have a lot of people queuing up. You should go around 4 pm.
The restaurants you should visit first are Cho Hoy Tod and Cho Tod Man Khung.
then shop Rad Na near a shop selling mangoes with sweet fish sauce called Ra Kung Tong Nam Pla Wan.
And you can't miss the ice cream shop. There is a special menu like Fresh Milk Sprite, a menu that blends coconut milk ice cream with sprite soft drinks. You'll find flavors that you wouldn't find anywhere else. Thai menu name is Nom Sod Sprite.
I rarely see foreign tourists making clips here. Although there are many delicious food. and the price is quite cheap You can buy a la carte dishes for 40 baht.
Finally, you guessed right about pork satay dipping sauce. It's made with massaman curry paste, coconut milk and roasted peanuts. ^-^
Welcome to Thailand Land of street food. Have fun eating Because I also like to find delicious food to eat.

Are you in Bangkok right now?
I don't want you to miss this event in Bangkok. Now the Red cross Fair festival is held at Lumphini Park , it is a carnival with lots stalls, theme park's rides and raffle draw games inside (should come at night for good atmosphere) please attend before the event is over on 18 December. This fair is only held once a year and you are in Bangkok right now what a lucky !

@@FireYoon Not in this soon, the next main event in Thailand is water festival which is held on 13-15 April and in 2023 might be the first time that government allows to play (splash water) since covid 2019. The most famous zone that allows to play is Silom road you can google it on TH-cam.

Oh wow, yum yum yum! How good is mango sticky rice? All the dishes you had looked amazing and are some of my faves. The condiments on the table were fish sauce, chili powder, vinegar with chili and the last is sugar. They use a lot of sugar in their cooking and in all the juices as well if you weren't aware, so ask them to go lightly on it or to not use it at all for some dishes (Mi wan pronounced my wan, which means not sweet)
Your hotel looks divine. Hope you're having a blast and enjoying Bkk
Are we gonna get to see Anna throw a dart to decide where you go? I hope so
