Bangkok is so cool, it has some great hole in the wall cafes and restaurants, and I love the night markets. That vvb pork dumpling looks like it was a pork bao Trevor, the soft doughy bao. Those are delicious ! Awesome fun for you guys ☺️
You guys found some great hidden gems! We've only ever stayed in Bangkok for a day at a time, but this is making us want to explore the city more. That peacock was pretty random - wasn't expecting that!
The metaphorical phrase ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’ has never been more accurate as evidenced by the surprising discovery of that hidden gem, as it were, of a coffee place located above what appears to be a mechanic/parts shop 😅 ☕️.
Bangkok is just a remarkable capital city of Thailand with so many remarkable beaches, restaurants, hotels, malls,,skyscrapers, resorts,entertainment centers,etc. in 2023❤❤❤
What a lively area! Easily can spend an entire day there with the food, art, and shopping! Other couples I subscribe to are in frigid snowy areas right now. I'd rather be hanging out with you guys! 😎
Great video but you missed the best riverside cafe 'Hong Sieng Kong' (you both were so close to it). Its a wonderful place to chill in a huge old house by the river. Great food, good coffee and amazing views of the Chao Praya River. Keep going guys. Next explore Bangkok by Canals or Klongs.

What do you see in street art or pictures in Talat Noi? It is what exists in life, way of life and the environment here. And is an old area of auto repair in the past until now
Try some of the free ferries for like Icon Siam, Asiatique, even hotels, especially at night. The tourist ferry or the cross river ferries are inexpensive. But do be careful boarding. I fell, but I’m ok. Go to Royal Barge Museum. Absolute must! Hot soy goes really well with the Thai dough stix.

At talod Noi near the China gate there's a kao Moo Daeng shop it's very delicious. Try it.. Just walk across the Golden Buddha temple. It is located at a sideroad.

Mother Roasters, Baan Rim Nam, Warehouse 30, River Vibe Bar & Restaurant, and Hong Sieng Kong are great places to visit. A craft beer company based in Phuket also gave out free craft beer at an art space in Warehouse 30 back in early 2020 before COVID.

I recommend you take BTS to Samut Prakan along the way you will find Condominium for rent and sale with the view of Chao Phraya River. The price and their neighborhood are excellent.

I am so very interested in Chinatown and Little India nearby. With the surprised nose dive on airfare, I am trying quickly to see if I can come for about 1 wk for Halloween. I am pretty sure I would stay smack dab in Chinatown with pool for about $$40US per night. Absolutely would make myself eating too many doughnuts and dumplings. Absolutely loved every minute
Yes we were and moved on quite a while ago now. Renting an apartment for well over a month, paying local bills, shopping at markets and meeting the locals in the community. That's living somewhere to us. We're slow travelling which we've explained many times now in videos - Trevor
You guys needs to go back to DR ..Thailand is not accessible to most of us . Dominican rep has it all , beaches , mountains, Millions of rivers , food , it has it all ….. 1. Playa frontón , playa hermitaño , playa ballena, Bahia de las Aguilas Aguilas , why would you guys go so far ? I don’t have the time , the money I won’t get on a plane for 24 hours .
