YES, Dark with Whipple.
GT350 will become a collector car. But buying one now means no warranty. The GT500 is a beast and a true sports car. The Dark Horse has potential and the bonus of a warranty. Sadly, I think the Dark Horse is a bit expensive. Do have to give Ford credit for staying in the N/A V-8 game.
Couldn’t agree more! But once you slap a tune and a Whipple on it good luck getting anything powertrain covered under warranty. I could be wrong but I don’t think Ford is strapping their Whipples to the Mustangs under warranty like they do with the F150s

At that point your in GT500 price point, and I prefer the 5.2 supercharged vs the 5.0 whipple
It’s hard to fault them for the price. The price of everything is at an all time high. Y’all don’t forget that this November 😂. Love the way they look though. Sux how you can only have a stock tune or a whipple tune. Maybe once the ecm’s get cracked I wouldn’t mind trading in my s550 or maybe even the old 3v in on one. Besides the tuning the only other negative is I really don’t like the dash (gauge cluster) but that’s just personal preference. It’s not as bad on the dark horse and premiums but it is horrible on the base models. Literally just two square screens. Wish they would have built a housing around them.
Who the fuck cares about warranty when modifying. Only the poors do 😂😂😂

The gt500 isn’t comparable to the dark horse, two different classes. If anything the dark horse is closer to the gt350
People used to hate on the s550 the same way, didn’t take long to nutswing, this won’t be that different

That Darkhorse looks great! I have a Mischievous Purple 22GT stg2 Whipple but I would love this Darkhorse! And those Hanook tires look killer!!
I have a DarkHorse now waiting on my whipple. My Gt500 was awesome but can't get new and most have been beat on plu no warranty. That's the reason I went plus I wanted to row gears. Not the fastest but the funnest

Great job, what a car. For the same price, I would take the GT500. I love the steering wheel in the Dark Horse.
GT350 with a Procharger D-1X blower, 95MM Pulley, Fore triple pump fuel system, all day over a 2024 Darkhorse and a whipple. GT350 would make 850+ and unbeatable from a roll with the lower torque head unit. It would pulled to 8400 rpm.
Dude 10spd with a whipple would annihilate that gt350 😂
The Dark Horse has different cam tune and GT 500 connecting rods. So yes it is boost friendly.
I would go with a GT350 BECAUSE MANUAL, but Shelby has revealed a super snake with a manual, and it sounds good

That is definitely a beautiful car with that color combo, the only thing that don’t like it’s those 2 flat screens coming out of the dashboard, if Ford would of have made it more like the bullit, it would of have been my choice and that it’s the reason why I bought a gt350 instead of the dark horse.

by a DUI hit and run.

I've had the GT350 and didn't really like it, not sure how I really feel about the Dark Horse so overall Id have to take the GT500

@@stickyricky-fg1po The lack of TQ made it not that fun to drive, you had to wind it so high into the RPM range to even feel any power from it. After that I went and bought another Terminator which I had before the 350. The Cobra's have so much power on tap w/ out having to hunt through the RPM range

I’m not enthusiastic mostly because Ford locked them down to prevent tuning. Seeing it get finicky from being on the dyno doesn’t help either.

I just bought a premium performance pack and all the options but I like the look of that rear window visor is that a factory one or aftermarket? I want one. That dark horse is making good power.
I like the sound from the muffler inside the cabin. If money is no objet GT-500, so for the same money between GT-350 or Dark horse for investment purposes GT-350 Shelby.👍😎🇨🇦

The Dark Horse beats the GT 500 on the track. Check the times at all the tracks and the DH beats the GT-500, the Mach I & the GT-350 & all Camaros!!! The DH & GT-350R are very close on the track. By adding the Whipple SC now it is not even close!!!! I have the data on 14 tracks within the eastern United States and the Dark Horse 🐎 is for real. I am getting one based on the recorded performance.
The Ford engineers made improvements on over >113 areas over the S550 for the results of the S650. The drift brake allows you to dial up the response of the handle when using it to do drifting. You adjust it on the center screen. It wasn’t an afterthought effort by Ford. They brought in Vaughn Gettin Jr. & his championship RTR team to actually develop a proper drift brake system. It matches their race cars exactly!!! A friend of mine owns a DH, he reduced his weight to 3640 which is lighter than my C8 Z51 which weighs 3667 pounds. I have 3 days of track time on my neighbor’s Dark Horse 🐎. The Perrelli Trofeo RS tires out-perform the Michelin Cup IIR tires and last 4-6 more laps on the tract also. The best part of the car is the brakes. Car & Driver magazine reported back in May that the Dark Horse 🐎 is the best braking car that the magazine has ever tested in 40+ years of existence. It is the newly designed Ford brake by wire response system that produces the impressive performance. They actually threw out the GT-500 brake rotors and were able to go smaller in size saving weight and still out brake the GT-500. Do your research and you will find that Ford really put in the time & effort designing the Dark Horse 🐎!!!!
