My bud, you left out a whole ass plot point of Eli's. Eli is under God's protection. Homeboy got shot at at point blank range and the dude missed without Eli moving. This is pointed out in the fight at the cannibal house. Eli tells Salara that God reassures him that they will both survive that fight as they are being shot at by a crank based gatlin gun. When the dude asked if God also said if he and his wife would survive Eli's response, "Didn't mention you," and they both died. He was untouchable until Gary Oldman takes the book from him as it's a parallel to Samson and his hair.
It’s ambiguous whether or not he’s actually listening to God or not although I’m inclined to believe he is. However it doesn’t matter. For one he’s hit multiple times in the movie before he loses the book so there’s clearly a limit to him being untouchable. He’s going up against a larger army with better weapons and more skilled fighters. He’s also being sent to a world where resources aren’t nearly as plentiful and he can’t complete his mission by walking. He died in his movie he’ll die here.

To counter said points this is the same God that split the red sea, made fire rain from the sky, and killed all the first born sons of Egypt. I'm pretty sure it's not a big deal to coincidentally have animals cross Eli's path for him to feed from or a surprising rain shower shows up for a few minutes for him to take advantage of. I totally agree he clearly has to meet God half way, but as long as he's on his mission there are always options for him to survive. Even if he somehow got to the edge of Australia he’d have to cross the ocean to get to his destination. It’s not possible for him to complete his goal here. Joe has sent hundreds of people after a single person before and if he did that here Eli can’t win.

With the bible being canonized in the world of Book of Eli all stories and powers of God with in that book would be cannon. Including miracles like rain fall in an environment where such a thing isn't scientifically plausible. Now if you wanna say the Christian God isn't cannon in Mad Max which is plausible bc I don't think they've even had a character in any of the films associated with Him that Eli loses connection to said God, I 1000% agree he'd be fucked. His words would probably create a schism against Joe, against all odds he'd probably survive, and those people who hope for a better life, and a better way would probably be banding behind this blind profit of unfailing combat skill. The thing about this is God doesn't act the same for every situation. What kind of help Eli would get would depend upon what he needed. Happening upon the one group of bandits that would listen to him? Finding that rare person who'd help him with water in exchange for a strong fighter. And if he ended up in Mad Max what would his mission be? Would it be the same mission as in the Book of Eli? Would it be to undermine, rival and eventually through the power of God rise up a nation against Immortan Joe? You see Eli's often a hard character to fathom because his plot armor levels are "I have the God of the universe orchestrating my quest." and without God, Eli's just a strong, violent, blind man. With God he's an unfailing mission. If his mission was still to get his book to the other side of America. Across the sea. (Or the planes of silence) he'd literally be likely to become an ally and friend of Max himself.

Don't know if anyone's mentioned this but Rick's issue with Negan at the outset had more to do with a deal Rick's community had with Hilltop. The leader of Hilltop negotiated that Rick help his community by removing an extortionist element against them. Having emphasized their level of threat, Rick decided to attack their installation while everyone was asleep, a viable tactical decision, but given they had no idea who they were dealing with, it was both stupid and a little evil. So basically, Glenn's death was brought about as a punishment for attacking Negan's people.
The issue of water is explained in the Mad Max game that Warner Bros. abandoned. Basically every single camp/outpost/settlement of any sort has rain catchers. Yes, rain catchers in a never-ending desert. I have no clue how that works, but they're always full when you go to collect water. So presumably it rains a lot during certain times of the year and/or in certain regions.
Could these detectives solve the Kira case? Basically, who else outside of L can find out Kira is Light. Some obvious nominees are Batman and Columbo, but it would be fun to see if someone like Yusuke Urameshi can do it since he's technically a detective too.
11:09 last I remember, It was mostly a transactional deal with Hilltop. A group who's already been forced to give tribute to Negan and lost some of their group as a result. So Rick basically saw blood in the water and wanted to prepare to take out a threat preemptively, while also getting resources from another. To answer your questions about how they get water in the wasteland, in the mad max game water plays an important role. Across the map at various camps and bases, structures can be found that condense moisture from the atmosphere into liquid (moisture is abundant in the atmosphere since all the oceans evaporated when the bombs dropped). These structures are also pretty simple looking so anyone should be able to make one after a little scavenging, however they take a long time to condense the moisture so it also makes sense why Dementus would feel compelled to find a more permanent source of water. I think you underestimated Rick Grimes a bit, his shooting skills are as good or better than the Preatorians, Rick only misses when he is shooting at another character with plot armor. And his leadership skills would definitely be useful, he would end up making friends and influence people to join his rebellion, he could win or lose, but he wouldn’t just fight alone. This is something that Rambo would have an ever better chance succeeding, Rambo is a green beret, De Opresso Liber, to free the oppress, to form a guerrilla to fight and defeat a larger opposing force is literally what he was trained to do.
Eli sweeps mad max universe easily. Dude never needed to see to survive, or be in a favorable situation to continue his mission to Alcatraz. He isn’t dying until the Bible is where it needs to be. Homie had unbeatable plot armor.

Smart characters turn dumb, strong turn inept, etc. It's why when Hulk can smash a mountain easily, but gets whooped when introduced to other comics. Plot only works for the main character/the characters of a certain story. Introduce a character from a totally different continuity, they lose the plot power.

Wolverine got his shit wrecked by the Predator despite being nigh invulnerable in Xmen comics. Hulk's lost to Spiderman despite him being a planet breaker. Superman gets duped/stomped in battles with street level villains despite being a character whose actual power is plot. It's a common occurrence and is basically an unspoken rule. Once characters lose main character status, plot power goes with it, they then are set based on their merits.
On the water issue, I've actually studied it quite a bit between media. And they have several methods of moisture farming in Mad Max, from biological recycling such as cannibalism. But also I've seen contraptions with sales, cooling pitches, containers, mud which is already rare being basically farmed for condensation. In the Mad Max game there is still moisture in the atmosphere and you can get enough to survive... kind of... in the right situation. The things the media gets wrong. Roving around on the desert kicking up dust and blazing in metal cans in the day. In this situation day = bad. Night would be how you survive, where the desert is cold, where the hot/cold dynamic creates lots of situations where condensation can form even from some of the drier airs. Not to mention, any living thing you kill, is also a potential for water. You don't 'drink' so much as you get your moisture from foods, old cans of dog food, etc. Again my problem with day is you have super-heated desert, metal cars, yet my well maintained modern car can over-heat on a 100 degree day? Lastly, there ARE deep pump wells in Mad Max, but they're slow. They fill slowly, you get water from them slowly and if taxed too far or exposed to the surface conditions would instantly dry up. Those like Immortan Joe have (for their situation) the most water of anyone around. But it's still not enough. For example hundreds sounds like a lot, but for a civilization, that's tiny and limited. And even then he's having to backfarm bodies, etc. (More man eats man).

I kinda disagree in regards to John Rambo. Yes he definitely would survive, but i don't believe that Rambo would even consider living in the Citadel much less joining a guy like Immortan Joe, both from a logical and moral standpoint. *From a Moral Standpoint* As we know, Rambo is a guy who is not much of a fan of any kind of authority, he waged war against Hope's whole police force, and the National Guard, because Teasle’s power abuse. He despises the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, The Soviet Union, And Burma state. He disobeyed direct orders from Murdock (A CIA officer) and even when Gabriela was kidnapped by the Martinez cartel, Rambo refused to get the police involved. Immortan Joe's empire is more authoritarian than most of those examples above, if not than them all. Rambo hates to see people being oppressed, and usually fights alongside the oppressed side. In the Vietnam war he fought alongside South Vietnam which was being oppressed by North Vietnam. In the Soviet-Afghan war he helped Afghanistan defeat the invading Soviet forces. And in Burma 's civil war he fought alongside the Karen Rebels which had faced decades of oppression by Burma' s Tatmadaw. Immortan Joe barely gives water to the people in the Citadel, while building his empire, He formed a group of marauders who defeated other groups of survivors after the Fall. They killed the weak, dispensed with children, seized the women and accepted the strong into their ranks. No way Rambo would want ties with a guy like this. Rambo also hates higher ups who treat soldiers like expendable assets, Rambo depises “those old men who send other men to war not giving a shit about them” And Immortan Joe is that up to eleven. He literally treats his War Boys like nothing, he makes them kill themselves just to prove a point. And finally, Rambo hates women abusers, he kill a bunch of pirates who were threatening to rape Sarah in Rambo 4 with no hesitation, and he violently kills a rapist Tatmadaw soldier in the same movie. In Last Blood he kills a bunch of sex traffickers, while trying to liberate the sex slaves. Immortan Joe is the textbook definition of women abuser, he is a groomer who imprisons women for the sole purpose to use them as breeders. His son Rictus is even implied to be a Pedo in Furiosa. In short. Immortan Joe is like an amalgamation of everything that Rambo fought against his whole life. There's no partnership between these 2. *From a Logical Standpoint* As yourself said, Rambo likes to be left alone in peace. And the Citadel is not a very peaceful place. If he lives like the Wretched, he's gonna have to fight for food and water every day of his life and if he becomes a Praetorian or Imperator he still would have to engage in Road War and battles against guys like The Buzzards since they occupy the territory surrounding 'The Last Road' connecting The Citadel and Gas Town. Rambo wouldn't want any of that stuff with begs the question, what Rambo would really do in Mad Max? Well Rambo is not a wanderer like Max, he likes to settle down, Rambo could probably build a place for him, a fortress surrounded by traps, but it would be difficult for him to find a place with surviving conditions for him to build something. So if Rambo would live somewhere in the Mad Max world, it would most likely be Batertown. While not necessary a example of democracy, Bartertown still is the most "civilized" outpost in the Wasteland, there is a brothel, barber, doctor, dentist, butcher's, open auction market, repair shop, a bar, and various trading stands not to mention the fact that despite everything Aunty Entity brought a sense of law and order to the town, dispelling the chaos, murder, and thievery for a healthy trading economy and security, giving the people a sense of hope instead of despair. Rambo would have his reservations about the town, and about Aunty herself, but she's not a mass murderer dictator like Immortan Joe. Rambo could probably work there as a blacksmith (something that he's really experienced at already) and would also trade stuff with others there. Living quite well all things considered. He would evade any kind of confrontation against any faction. Unless his life or the life of someone he likes is in danger. Maybe Colonel Trautman (who also lived the Fall) would try to destroy Immortan Joe's empire due to all his injustices (Since he always is the one looking for action, and is far more confrontational than Rambo) he would probably ask Rambo to join his cause, with latter refusing. Trautman would then go with a group of rogues try to overthrow Joe, but due to the sheer number of War Boys he would be caught and most likely used as a Blood bag. The information about this battle with Immortan Joe could reach Rambo who would want to save Trautman. *Rambo's attack plan* Rambo would probably forge a machete for himself, make a bow and trade a bunch of stuff for a vehicle (probably something close to a military truck) and gasoline. Rambo might not be an insane driver like Max but he definitely can hold his own,l. In First Blood he was able to outmaneuver a bunch of police cars chasing him while driving a truck. About his mechanical skills, he said that he was in charge of million dollar equipment in the army. He's used to work with a bunch of working tools, he was a construction worker in Thailand, and we even see him working on a wood tire for a wagon in Rambo 3. We also see him repairing a boat propeller in Rambo 4. And in Last Blood we see him repairing his truck if I'm not mistaken. So he would be fine in a Road War, but he would not even engage in one. I don't believe a master strategist like Rambo would just intercept Joe's trucks everytime they go out to take supplies, no, he would attack Joe where it hurts. Rambo would attack the whole “Triumvirate” that is the three fortresses of the Wasteland, beginning with Bullet Farm. He would stealthily kill the guards and the Bullet Farmer, and just loot the place, getting a lot of ammunition and making explosives using gunpowder then he would go Gas Town and again would kill everyone in there without being noticed, and would place explosives and traps everywhere, traps like the Cartridge traps. He would then make small controlled explosions to gain the attention of Immortan Joe, who in desperation would send a large part of his army to see what's happening while Rambo would already be afar just watching, he would then go for the Citadel, while most of Joe's army would die via traps in Gas Town, Rambo then would just climb up to the Tower 1, and Kill Joe, Rictus and anyone who tries to take him out, he would the free Trautman, the wives, and the water for everybody. Basically Rambo 3 lol. Great video tho.
Gonna suggest Joshua Graham and Strelok for a part 2 of this one. Graham is basically just an extra-crispy Eli who can see but is INSANELY better in a fight. He was canonically the Malpais Legate, and the reason he's covered in burns is that Caesar had him covered in pitch, lit on fire, and thrown into the grand canyon after his failure at the 1st Battle of Hoover Dam. Strelok is, at a glance, the average slavic male. HOWEVER, the anomalies may be useful.
Eli is soloing the entire mad max saga 😂. My nigga had the POWAH OF GOD & MEGA HAX protecting him. Not to mention he is the Equalizer & a badass body guard to a lil girl etc 😂 There is no way he is dying until his mission is complete then God will deactivate his hax & let him die peacefully.
I love Mad Max I didn't really like the last two movies I love reading the original script of Mad Max Fury Road I really wish we would have just got that script instead of the movie we got. Cuz it was supposed to delve into the psychological nature of Max and how throughout all his adventures have basically broken him down to her all he knows how to do now is survive and cry. the start of the movie was supposed to start out kind of like Fury Road but him being right next to his car shriveled up and crying. And I think it would have been a better film especially for Mad Max as a character.
Bro, I love your videos, cool concept, well done. That said, Neegan's character explained to us what Rick would have a problem with. It was obvious. He was totalitarian, he was extorting communities, he was violent and abusive... That's all we needed to understand the motivation behind our main characters opposition. Not everyone wants a show or movie to explain motivation verbatim in exposition like we're bubble headed kindergarteners. Rick tries to stay as morally righteous AS POSSIBLE in a screwed up fallen world. It's the show's premise. Also, you discount Rick's ability to find creative solutions to difficult problems. If he takes time to strategize he does better (he probably would die but let's give him dues) taking away his leadership is unnecessary as a handicap. #1 It is what allows the survival of himself and some others throughout the series and it is one of his best tools. #2 Mad Max almost always aligns himself with other characters throughout all of the films and usually that becomes PIVOTAL to his survival. No reason to negate this. Also, Joe is a "good guy, I mean he's not Jesus" what are you talking about about? You go on later to explain he has slaves that live as cannibals, milkers, sex slaves and will use his army as disposable kamikaze squads..... Not good! Rick would have an OVERWHELMING amount of reason to go after him! I'm not a walking dead nut rider, I quit watching shortly after Neagan gets introduced. But dude, come on, you gotta re-evaluate how you examine motivation, and don't needlessly handicap a character by taking away essential skills that might make a difference. Anyway, I do like the series and I mean no offense, just friendly debate. Keep up the great work.
I'd recommend giving the comic-book version of Rick a fair shot, it has been a while since I read it but I found the Walking dead comics did a much better job than the tv adaptation. Maybe you could also do a faction VS? Like for example have all the owned territories of both Immortan Joe's Empire/Kingdom and comic Rick's network of communities(maybe even antagonist factions, or any series' faction of a similar power level) appear near each other in a neutral world, or something like that. Not sure if that's something you really do, thought it could be intriguing. I only recently found your channel, been pretty interesting so far!
Cool video. One thing though: in regards to Rambo's vehicle knowledge dont forget that he's not just familiar with cars and trucks and stuff.....civilian vehicles.....but he has also operated helicopters, a tank(and a russian one at that), and was regularly operating a boating service in the fourth movie, implying that he must have known how to do work on the motor. So he's actually pretty dang good with vehicles, including in combat.
I’d say that Rambo would have mad mechanic skills due to the fact that at the end of First Blood, he says the line “Back there, I could fly a gunship. I could drive a tank. I was in charge of million dollar equipment!” Stands to reason that being in charge of said million dollar equipment would involve doing mechanic work on them.
Rick wanted to fight Negan 1st because of a deal with Hilltop which consisted of Rick and his group “taking care” of Negan so Hilltop can have enough food to trade with Alexandria (the settlement where Rick and his group lived at that at the time had a food issue) but yeah he didn’t do it because he doesn’t like Negan’s Empire

Chuck's biggest skill is that he actually is something of a logistical genius. Like he's really good at math and keeping time and managing resources and people (his actual job at FedEx was a Systems Analyst, otherwise known as the guy who comes in to tell you everything about your job that you're doing wrong XD). Even at the beginning of his story, he already understands that he needs to get to work in gathering up everything he can salvage and make a tally of what he's got to work with and by the end of his journey he's putting all of his knowledge and every last scrap of material to use to build the raft and escape from the island.

This one might be an odd one but I think Alice from the Resident Evil movies could survive Furiosa. If you've seen the movies, you'd know why, the amount of plot armor she has is greater than even some of the game protagonists.
Have you ever thought of a survival battle royale? Like throw in 10 super soldier characters into a deadly location of some kind like the Dark Souls world and see what they would or could do. Would some learn they could get stronger by devouring souls and flames and pursue a main story kind of thing, would some simply die to the elements? Would some hunt the others down? It is simply survival, so they do not have to kill each other, but it does last until only one remains.
I mean we all know that at the end of the day Randy Orton would just RKO Imorton Joe out of no where and become the new WWE world heavy weight champ right... er I mean he would become the new leader of that empire.
If you play the games, then you see the main supply of water is from collectors. Uh, basically as temperatures change from night to day water is squeezed out of the air in the form of dew. Collectors are large things that are titled so they catch a lot of dew and then it pours down into a container. You'd need thousands of these suckers to keep just a hundred people going and in universe no one knows what the hell happened to the water in the world. But there you go. That's the cannon reason. Also the cannon main food source is maggots that eat the dead which makes no fucking sense, that's a depleting system and would last only a few years at absolute most.

one thing i always thought was interesting about first blood, i used to live in hope, where it was filmed, and one of the places there had a script, and, it noted part of what made teasle so hostile to Rambo, is the fact he was a Korean war vetern, and hated that rambo was more highly decorated than him. while Gaunt was jealous that rambo actually got to serve, since gault was too yoing to serve in Korea, too old to serve in Vietnam.
In Mad Max I think it's assumed that most survivors and enclaves remaining have some form of dew catchers to collect the meagre amounts of water they can when they can from the little that remains in the air.

My bud, you left out a whole ass plot point of Eli's. Eli is under God's protection. Homeboy got shot at at point blank range and the dude missed without Eli moving. This is pointed out in the fight at the cannibal house. Eli tells Salara that God reassures him that they will both survive that fight as they are being shot at by a crank based gatlin gun. When the dude asked if God also said if he and his wife would survive Eli's response, "Didn't mention you," and they both died. He was untouchable until Gary Oldman takes the book from him as it's a parallel to Samson and his hair.
It’s ambiguous whether or not he’s actually listening to God or not although I’m inclined to believe he is. However it doesn’t matter. For one he’s hit multiple times in the movie before he loses the book so there’s clearly a limit to him being untouchable. He’s going up against a larger army with better weapons and more skilled fighters. He’s also being sent to a world where resources aren’t nearly as plentiful and he can’t complete his mission by walking. He died in his movie he’ll die here.

To counter said points this is the same God that split the red sea, made fire rain from the sky, and killed all the first born sons of Egypt. I'm pretty sure it's not a big deal to coincidentally have animals cross Eli's path for him to feed from or a surprising rain shower shows up for a few minutes for him to take advantage of. I totally agree he clearly has to meet God half way, but as long as he's on his mission there are always options for him to survive. I do totally agree though that he'd be fucked if he had to fight all of Joe's forces, but I don't think he'd have to. You do make very valid points tho, I just wanted your opinion on this subject. Even if he somehow got to the edge of Australia he’d have to cross the ocean to get to his destination. It’s not possible for him to complete his goal here. Joe has sent hundreds of people after a single person before and if he did that here Eli can’t win.

With the bible being canonized in the world of Book of Eli all stories and powers of God with in that book would be cannon. Including miracles like rain fall in an environment where such a thing isn't scientifically plausible. Now if you wanna say the Christian God isn't cannon in Mad Max which is plausible bc I don't think they've even had a character in any of the films associated with Him that Eli loses connection to said God, I 1000% agree he'd be fucked. However, if said God is included alongside Eli, all bets are off at that point.

His words would probably create a schism against Joe, against all odds he'd probably survive, and those people who hope for a better life, and a better way would probably be banding behind this blind profit of unfailing combat skill.
The thing about this is God doesn't act the same for every situation. What kind of help Eli would get would depend upon what he needed. Happening upon the one group of bandits that would listen to him? Finding that rare person who'd help him with water in exchange for a strong fighter.
And if he ended up in Mad Max what would his mission be? Would it be the same mission as in the Book of Eli? Would it be to undermine, rival and eventually through the power of God rise up a nation against Immortan Joe?
You see Eli's often a hard character to fathom because his plot armor levels are "I have the God of the universe orchestrating my quest." and without God, Eli's just a strong, violent, blind man. With God he's an unfailing mission.
If his mission was still to get his book to the other side of America. Across the sea. (Or the planes of silence) he'd literally be likely to become an ally and friend of Max himself.

Don't know if anyone's mentioned this but Rick's issue with Negan at the outset had more to do with a deal Rick's community had with Hilltop. The leader of Hilltop negotiated that Rick help his community by removing an extortionist element against them. Having emphasized their level of threat, Rick decided to attack their installation while everyone was asleep, a viable tactical decision, but given they had no idea who they were dealing with, it was both stupid and a little evil. So basically, Glenn's death was brought about as a punishment for attacking Negan's people.
The issue of water is explained in the Mad Max game that Warner Bros. abandoned. Basically every single camp/outpost/settlement of any sort has rain catchers. Yes, rain catchers in a never-ending desert. I have no clue how that works, but they're always full when you go to collect water. So presumably it rains a lot during certain times of the year and/or in certain regions.

11:09 last I remember, It was mostly a transactional deal with Hilltop. A group who's already been forced to give tribute to Negan and lost some of their group as a result. So Rick basically saw blood in the water and wanted to prepare to take out a threat preemptively, while also getting resources from another. Of course that didn't work out, but I don't think his motives were that mysterious.

To answer your questions about how they get water in the wasteland, in the mad max game water plays an important role. Across the map at various camps and bases, structures can be found that condense moisture from the atmosphere into liquid (moisture is abundant in the atmosphere since all the oceans evaporated when the bombs dropped). These structures are also pretty simple looking so anyone should be able to make one after a little scavenging, however they take a long time to condense the moisture so it also makes sense why Dementus would feel compelled to find a more permanent source of water.

I think you underestimated Rick Grimes a bit, his shooting skills are as good or better than the Preatorians, Rick only misses when he is shooting at another character with plot armor. And his leadership skills would definitely be useful, he would end up making friends and influence people to join his rebellion, he could win or lose, but he wouldn’t just fight alone.
This is something that Rambo would have an ever better chance succeeding, Rambo is a green beret, De Opresso Liber, to free the oppress, to form a guerrilla to fight and defeat a larger opposing force is literally what he was trained to do.

The story. It's why whenever a character from one continuity gets thrust into another. They don't get main character super power anymore. Smart characters turn dumb, strong turn inept, etc. It's why when Hulk can smash a mountain easily, but gets whooped when introduced to other comics. Plot only works for the main character/the characters of a certain story. Introduce a character from a totally different continuity, they lose the plot power.

It's a common occurrence and is basically an unspoken rule. Once characters lose main character status, plot power goes with it, they then are set based on their merits.

On the water issue, I've actually studied it quite a bit between media. And they have several methods of moisture farming in Mad Max, from biological recycling such as cannibalism. But also I've seen contraptions with sales, cooling pitches, containers, mud which is already rare being basically farmed for condensation. In the Mad Max game there is still moisture in the atmosphere and you can get enough to survive... kind of... in the right situation.
The things the media gets wrong. Roving around on the desert kicking up dust and blazing in metal cans in the day. In this situation day = bad. Night would be how you survive, where the desert is cold, where the hot/cold dynamic creates lots of situations where condensation can form even from some of the drier airs. Not to mention, any living thing you kill, is also a potential for water.
You don't 'drink' so much as you get your moisture from foods, old cans of dog food, etc.
Again my problem with day is you have super-heated desert, metal cars, yet my well maintained modern car can over-heat on a 100 degree day?
Lastly, there ARE deep pump wells in Mad Max, but they're slow. They fill slowly, you get water from them slowly and if taxed too far or exposed to the surface conditions would instantly dry up.
Those like Immortan Joe have (for their situation) the most water of anyone around. But it's still not enough. For example hundreds sounds like a lot, but for a civilization, that's tiny and limited. And even then he's having to backfarm bodies, etc. (More man eats man).

I kinda disagree in regards to John Rambo. Yes he definitely would survive, but i don't believe that Rambo would even consider living in the Citadel much less joining a guy like Immortan Joe, both from a logical and moral standpoint.
*From a Moral Standpoint*
As we know, Rambo is a guy who is not much of a fan of any kind of authority, he waged war against Hope's whole police force, and the National Guard, because Teasle’s power abuse. He despises the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, The Soviet Union, And Burma state. He disobeyed direct orders from Murdock (A CIA officer) and even when Gabriela was kidnapped by the Martinez cartel, Rambo refused to get the police involved. Immortan Joe's empire is more authoritarian than most of those examples above, if not than them all.
Rambo hates to see people being oppressed, and usually fights alongside the oppressed side. In the Vietnam war he fought alongside South Vietnam which was being oppressed by North Vietnam. In the Soviet-Afghan war he helped Afghanistan defeat the invading Soviet forces. And in Burma 's civil war he fought alongside the Karen Rebels which had faced decades of oppression by Burma' s Tatmadaw. Immortan Joe barely gives water to the people in the Citadel, while building his empire, He formed a group of marauders who defeated other groups of survivors after the Fall. They killed the weak, dispensed with children, seized the women and accepted the strong into their ranks. No way Rambo would want ties with a guy like this.
Rambo also hates higher ups who treat soldiers like expendable assets, Rambo depises “those old men who send other men to war not giving a shit about them” And Immortan Joe is that up to eleven. He literally treats his War Boys like nothing, he makes them kill themselves just to prove a point.
And finally, Rambo hates women abusers, he kill a bunch of pirates who were threatening to rape Sarah in Rambo 4 with no hesitation, and he violently kills a rapist Tatmadaw soldier in the same movie. In Last Blood he kills a bunch of sex traffickers, while trying to liberate the sex slaves. Immortan Joe is the textbook definition of women abuser, he is a groomer who imprisons women for the sole purpose to use them as breeders. His son Rictus is even implied to be a Pedo in Furiosa.
In short. Immortan Joe is like an amalgamation of everything that Rambo fought against his whole life. There's no partnership between these 2.
*From a Logical Standpoint*
As yourself said, Rambo likes to be left alone in peace. And the Citadel is not a very peaceful place. If he lives like the Wretched, he's gonna have to fight for food and water every day of his life and if he becomes a Praetorian or Imperator he still would have to engage in Road War and battles against guys like The Buzzards since they occupy the territory surrounding 'The Last Road' connecting The Citadel and Gas Town.
Rambo wouldn't want any of that stuff with begs the question, what Rambo would really do in Mad Max?
Well Rambo is not a wanderer like Max, he likes to settle down, Rambo could probably build a place for him, a fortress surrounded by traps, but it would be difficult for him to find a place with surviving conditions for him to build something. So if Rambo would live somewhere in the Mad Max world, it would most likely be Batertown.
While not necessary a example of democracy, Bartertown still is the most "civilized" outpost in the Wasteland, there is a brothel, barber, doctor, dentist, butcher's, open auction market, repair shop, a bar, and various trading stands not to mention the fact that despite everything Aunty Entity brought a sense of law and order to the town, dispelling the chaos, murder, and thievery for a healthy trading economy and security, giving the people a sense of hope instead of despair. Rambo would have his reservations about the town, and about Aunty herself, but she's not a mass murderer dictator like Immortan Joe.
Rambo could probably work there as a blacksmith (something that he's really experienced at already) and would also trade stuff with others there. Living quite well all things considered. He would evade any kind of confrontation against any faction. Unless his life or the life of someone he likes is in danger.
Maybe Colonel Trautman (who also lived the Fall) would try to destroy Immortan Joe's empire due to all his injustices (Since he always is the one looking for action, and is far more confrontational than Rambo) he would probably ask Rambo to join his cause, with latter refusing. Trautman would then go with a group of rogues try to overthrow Joe, but due to the sheer number of War Boys he would be caught and most likely used as a Blood bag.
The information about this battle with Immortan Joe could reach Rambo who would want to save Trautman.
*Rambo's attack plan*
Rambo would probably forge a machete for himself, make a bow and trade a bunch of stuff for a vehicle (probably something close to a military truck) and gasoline.
Rambo might not be an insane driver like Max but he definitely can hold his own,l. In First Blood he was able to outmaneuver a bunch of police cars chasing him while driving a truck. About his mechanical skills, he said that he was in charge of million dollar equipment in the army. He's used to work with a bunch of working tools, he was a construction worker in Thailand, and we even see him working on a wood tire for a wagon in Rambo 3. We also see him repairing a boat propeller in Rambo 4. And in Last Blood we see him repairing his truck if I'm not mistaken. So he would be fine in a Road War, but he would not even engage in one.
I don't believe a master strategist like Rambo would just intercept Joe's trucks everytime they go out to take supplies, no, he would attack Joe where it hurts.
Rambo would attack the whole “Triumvirate” that is the three fortresses of the Wasteland, beginning with Bullet Farm. He would stealthily kill the guards and the Bullet Farmer, and just loot the place, getting a lot of ammunition and making explosives using gunpowder then he would go Gas Town and again would kill everyone in there without being noticed, and would place explosives and traps everywhere, traps like the Cartridge traps.
He would then make small controlled explosions to gain the attention of Immortan Joe, who in desperation would send a large part of his army to see what's happening while Rambo would already be afar just watching, he would then go for the Citadel, while most of Joe's army would die via traps in Gas Town, Rambo then would just climb up to the Tower 1, and Kill Joe, Rictus and anyone who tries to take him out, he would the free Trautman, the wives, and the water for everybody.
Basically Rambo 3 lol. Great video tho.

Graham is basically just an extra-crispy Eli who can see but is INSANELY better in a fight. He was canonically the Malpais Legate, and the reason he's covered in burns is that Caesar had him covered in pitch, lit on fire, and thrown into the grand canyon after his failure at the 1st Battle of Hoover Dam.
Strelok is, at a glance, the average slavic male. HOWEVER, the anomalies may be useful.

I love Mad Max I didn't really like the last two movies I love reading the original script of Mad Max Fury Road I really wish we would have just got that script instead of the movie we got. Cuz it was supposed to delve into the psychological nature of Max and how throughout all his adventures have basically broken him down to her all he knows how to do now is survive and cry. the start of the movie was supposed to start out kind of like Fury Road but him being right next to his car shriveled up and crying. And I think it would have been a better film especially for Mad Max as a character.

Bro, I love your videos, cool concept, well done. That said, Neegan's character explained to us what Rick would have a problem with. It was obvious. He was totalitarian, he was extorting communities, he was violent and abusive... That's all we needed to understand the motivation behind our main characters opposition. Not everyone wants a show or movie to explain motivation verbatim in exposition like we're bubble headed kindergarteners. Rick tries to stay as morally righteous AS POSSIBLE in a screwed up fallen world. It's the show's premise. Also, you discount Rick's ability to find creative solutions to difficult problems. If he takes time to strategize he does better (he probably would die but let's give him dues) taking away his leadership is unnecessary as a handicap. #1 It is what allows the survival of himself and some others throughout the series and it is one of his best tools. #2 Mad Max almost always aligns himself with other characters throughout all of the films and usually that becomes PIVOTAL to his survival. No reason to negate this. Also, Joe is a "good guy, I mean he's not Jesus" what are you talking about about? You go on later to explain he has slaves that live as cannibals, milkers, sex slaves and will use his army as disposable kamikaze squads..... Not good! Rick would have an OVERWHELMING amount of reason to go after him! I'm not a walking dead nut rider, I quit watching shortly after Neagan gets introduced. But dude, come on, you gotta re-evaluate how you examine motivation, and don't needlessly handicap a character by taking away essential skills that might make a difference. Anyway, I do like the series and I mean no offense, just friendly debate. Keep up the great work.

I'd recommend giving the comic-book version of Rick a fair shot, it has been a while since I read it but I found the Walking dead comics did a much better job than the tv adaptation. Maybe you could also do a faction VS? Like for example have all the owned territories of both Immortan Joe's Empire/Kingdom and comic Rick's network of communities(maybe even antagonist factions, or any series' faction of a similar power level) appear near each other in a neutral world, or something like that. Not sure if that's something you really do, thought it could be intriguing. I only recently found your channel, been pretty interesting so far!
Cool video. One thing though: in regards to Rambo's vehicle knowledge dont forget that he's not just familiar with cars and trucks and stuff.....civilian vehicles.....but he has also operated helicopters, a tank(and a russian one at that), and was regularly operating a boating service in the fourth movie, implying that he must have known how to do work on the motor.
So he's actually pretty dang good with vehicles, including in combat.
I’d say that Rambo would have mad mechanic skills due to the fact that at the end of First Blood, he says the line “Back there, I could fly a gunship. I could drive a tank. I was in charge of million dollar equipment!” Stands to reason that being in charge of said million dollar equipment would involve doing mechanic work on them.
Rick wanted to fight Negan 1st because of a deal with Hilltop which consisted of Rick and his group “taking care” of Negan so Hilltop can have enough food to trade with Alexandria (the settlement where Rick and his group lived at that at the time had a food issue) but yeah he didn’t do it because he doesn’t like Negan’s Empire

Chuck's biggest skill is that he actually is something of a logistical genius. Like he's really good at math and keeping time and managing resources and people (his actual job at FedEx was a Systems Analyst, otherwise known as the guy who comes in to tell you everything about your job that you're doing wrong XD). Even at the beginning of his story, he already understands that he needs to get to work in gathering up everything he can salvage and make a tally of what he's got to work with and by the end of his journey he's putting all of his knowledge and every last scrap of material to use to build the raft and escape from the island.

Like throw in 10 super soldier characters into a deadly location of some kind like the Dark Souls world and see what they would or could do. Would some learn they could get stronger by devouring souls and flames and pursue a main story kind of thing, would some simply die to the elements? Would some hunt the others down? It is simply survival, so they do not have to kill each other, but it does last until only one remains.
I mean we all know that at the end of the day Randy Orton would just RKO Imorton Joe out of no where and become the new WWE world heavy weight champ right... er I mean he would become the new leader of that empire.

If you play the games, then you see the main supply of water is from collectors. Uh, basically as temperatures change from night to day water is squeezed out of the air in the form of dew. Collectors are large things that are titled so they catch a lot of dew and then it pours down into a container.
You'd need thousands of these suckers to keep just a hundred people going and in universe no one knows what the hell happened to the water in the world. But there you go. That's the cannon reason.
Also the cannon main food source is maggots that eat the dead which makes no fucking sense, that's a depleting system and would last only a few years at absolute most.

one thing i always thought was interesting about first blood, i used to live in hope, where it was filmed, and one of the places there had a script, and, it noted part of what made teasle so hostile to Rambo, is the fact he was a Korean war vetern, and hated that rambo was more highly decorated than him.
