    Just a FYI Witchers do still have feelings. It's myth that both Witcher and humans propagate.
    The reasoning has to do with humans don't like witchers so they're treated like monsters. So saying they are emotionless is more of a insult.
    Witcher use the myth as a way to negotiate for better prices, and to protect Witchers from getting scammed, or to be taken advantage of. Basically meaning you can't use the "think of the women, and children" against the Witchers.

    Nightmare is interesting because he can only really be beaten by Soul Calibur. I will say I dont think he can just look at you and take your power, its just a fun mechanic. Reason for this is because when he possessed Cervantes, he honestly wasnt that impressive and lost to Xianghua and Raph/Siegfried. Its only after taking over Siegfried that he became a menace. If he could just take powers on sight, he would have taken Sieg's power while possessing Cervantes instead of jumping bodies. He was looking for the right vessel.

      First, Hyrule warriors is not canon.
      Second…. Yeah no lore accurate Link would still be completely fine. I think it doesn’t even matter which incarnation of him you use. Don’t think there’s a single creature in Mordor that could take him. He killed the equivalent of satan in skyward sword, took the form of a dark god in majora’s mask, and can move at the speed of light in botw and totk. He’s not even on the same level. He’s got insane plot armor, and that’s literally part of the lore. He also has what I call anime powers (I don’t really watch anime so I don’t know how to phrase this) which means he can swing massive swords that would otherwise be impossible, and perform feats of inhuman athleticism (like jumping really high while in combat ex. Wind waker when he does the front flip thing over the enemy).

    I think Link from botw would be funny. Orcs afraid of a crazy elf who eat rocks, monsters, and sticks for food. Link stealing their weapons, food, armor, shields, and their guts. Link won't need to stealth because he would look like orc at the end. Link holding an orc knife in one hand. This shield is attached with orc head. Orc armor cover in blood of previous owner. Orc Boss: Who's this new soldier in our army. Captains coming back from death are not different from the Red Moon. Lynels are just faster orc captains and Link hunted lynels for sport. Fully loaded Link would just time stun orc captain then pull out giant hammer and start hitting like mad man. Sending the orc into the sky. Now, would an upgrade Master Sword kill the main villain?

Guerrilla tactics is a doctrine of attack and retreat, using the terrain to your advantage, setting traps, all which is used to confound your opponents on the battlefield. Black OPs tactics are assassination, poison, infiltration, sapping, and generally doing nasty things to the enemy when they AREN'T on the battlefield.

    I think you underestimate game Geralt a lot. Here is a couple of things for counter criticism:
    - Talion is no where near a better swordsman than Geralt. The reason is Geralt is at least 100 years old. And he started to train and use that sword when he was a child. Giving him a whopping minimum of 90 years of sword experience. The reason Geralt lost to Letho was he had amnesia and only had the experience of witcher 1. So at that point Geralt only had 1 year of experience and all his muscle memory. *** SPOILER FOR WITCHER 2 ENDING*** At the end Geralt gets his memories back and you have the option to fight letho again or let him go. If you fight him. You kill him.(With a very cool cutscene). Talion was in his 30s-40s when he was killed. The sword experience between these characters are massive. Same goes to figthing,tactics,surviving.
    - Witcher 3 Quen is way stronger than you think. First of all. It negates all damage whetever its a hit from a golem or a little nekker. It also returns some of the damage thats been dealt to enemy. Geralt has a lot of stamina and recovers it really quickly(about a second). So a very common tactic to deal with groups of enemies is to hold the quen and make them kill themselves. And what if your stamina reduces to 0 ? You dodge or roll once and here you go. You have full duration quen again with damage reflecting and self healing factors. On top of that quen will daze/stun humanoid or smaller atackers when hit. Which will give Talion to apply one execution or tackle. If Talion can do that so can Geralt. And I played both games for longs periods of time. I know how there are some orcs that literally immune to everything and have a lot of buffs. They are like literally unkillable and they adapt to very few things you can use. But are they immune to their own damage ? Geralt can use quen to heal back and use his health to get quen back and make this loop go on for hours.
    - Geralt is probably the strongest witcher. Not only he finished the trials. They made extra experiments on him. Thats why his hair is white. And in Witcher 3 he willingfully mutates himself again. That makes it 3.
    - Depending on the mutation geralt can be immortal like Talion after post celebrimbor although a bit weaker. If you have the mutation of second life when you die you revive at full health (you have a free quen on yourself while you are reviving so no damage can be taken). And geralt can do this every 3 minutes.
    Although Geralt might lack the mobility of Talion/Celebrimbor he has Quen and a lot of vitality and has the persistance to stay in very long fights for hours because he can spend his health to get quen and spend quen to get health and kills.

      Here, though, let me make this easy for both of us; you can go ahead and prove Sauron is actually able to survive past the first few seconds, when Link tries to speedblitz him by moving so fast that the entire world slows down to a near-stop, up to and including energy beams and arrows, and for my part, I get to laugh at you when you start babbling about Numenour or how cunning and TEH SMORTZ he is, like as if that's even vaguely relevant, lul.

    As someone who has read the books I have to say this. Power scaling in Lord of the Rings usually isn’t that extreme. With only a few exceptions, those exceptions being the greater angels of the Valar and lesser of the Miar and a few far less powerful beings using artifacts that contain Sauron’s power and he had lost much of his physical powers by the Lord of the rings. Anyways the strength of many of these people are grounded and can be defeated by normal human soldiers (trolls may take a few soldiers but you get my point) any weird powers are usually mind based such as the power to instill fear or hope into people and the most powerful had the power to control the minds of their underlings.

    Why do people assume geralt doesn’t use stealth? Is it the show and games? In the books and comics he ALWAYS tries to get the drop on monsters, or avoid the less dangerous ones like bog witches who he simply doesn’t care about, he is very stealthy when he wants to be, like if I remember correctly one of the trials had him trained in stealth, not sure about climbing, he carries more gear and it’s heavier, he is more agile than any average humans so, I would assume he is fast and stealthy, he just isn’t as good at climbing as Jin

    • @paytonkraft7564
      @paytonkraft7564 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Because Geralt doesn't prioritize sneaking around like the kind used to get around the Orcs in the shadow of series. Geralt isn't scaling towers and columns and walking on tight ropes or ziplining across ropes or dropping down to strike from above. Jin Sakai, the literal ninja, IS doing all that. Talion did all of that. The peak of Geralt's stealth abilities is stalking through the woods like a hunter, because that's who he is. A monster hunter. The stealth Jin uses and the stealth Geralt uses isn't equal, because Geralt is practiced in ambushing monsters. Jin is able to clear out a small settlement without being noticed.

      @@paytonkraft7564 when geralt walks into Middle earth it’s not like he’ll see a Uruk platoon with a caragor and immediately go to fight, he’s a monster hunter, Uruk are sneaky, cunning and as much as I hate to admit it, pretty smart, they wouldn’t really be classed as monsters, even so geralt would treat them like monsters, he treats most humanoid type monsters as still just monsters, so he could underestimate them. I imagine he would just go around killing graugs and caragor, but he could definitely handle some Uruk, just not too many, and as a final point, Jin isn’t like some invisible shadow, he’s really good at stealth, but he alerts camps all the time, Uruk are bound to notice eventually, and if he fights , who’s gonna last longer, him or geralt also, he forgot geralt’s bombs, crossbow and his fucking magic force push

    • @paytonkraft7564
      @paytonkraft7564 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@GOTHERGOAT Alright. That's all fair. A lot of this is in line with what Rouga said about the characters. That said, he also mentioned that Jin only marginally outlasts Geralt, not his exact words but semantics. And while, yes, Geralt DOES have the know-how and abilities to utilize more advanced tactics, he's specialized towards monster hunting, not fighting. Jin has walked both sides of the line, being a frontline warrior as a samurai and a guerrilla fighter as a ninja. While he does end up alerting camps plenty of times, my point in regards to his stealth capabilities is how easily he levels the playing field prior to engaging the enemy. Poison, sabotaging supplies, disabling alarms, setting up traps, and, in general, just being able to whittle the enemy's numbers down a considerable amount before they put two and two together. You're right, in Mordor, Jin gets into a fight and against orcs, he's washed like a plate, but so is Geralt for the reasons you mentioned. He'll manage to handle a sizable chunk of the rank and file such as orcs, caragors, goblins, but once the more elite like uruk-hai start taking notice, the witcher is done for. Plus, Geralt's magic is pretty low-level compared to the stuff seen used by the likes of the forces of Sauron. Say what you want about how basic it seems, but uruks that can get up from death seemingly indefinitely, in Zog the Eternal's case, while retaining his skills and intelligence, are beyond dangerous.
