Visceral says the horseman are composed of War, Death, Fury and Strife. which is obviously not the actual horseman, which usually include famine, conquest, or pestilence (depending on what source we look at). @Austinsuav3 He was about to fuck up the entire race of humans... More importantly, he was about to stab Fury to death in his bloodthirst. That's why Death took his arm. It wasn't about not following orders, it was about War attacking his family because he wouldn't back down on his own bloodthirst. Death did say to take it as a lesson.
Same. Honestly would be awesome to tell your bullies” don’t make me call up my bro” and the bullies being cocky until death showed up. The terror on those malakēs’ faces would be glorious.
Family before everything. Blood is thicker than any bond. I'm not sure if Death is the oldest sibling, outside of Absalom, but he sure acts like it, willing to carry the unfortunate burden of his brother, War to end of the any world, and abandon his entire race. I wonder what will be Fury and Strife's resolve to join the rest of their siblings in this epic showdown against the Charred Council.

Then the heaven and earth bit were cool but by that point yeah I can see why people would stop for a while.

DS1 was War's story to kill the Destroyer DS2 was Death's task to undo the destruction of Humanity and cleanse War of the accusation of triggering the End-War. DS3 was Fury's quest to kill the Seven Sins There was a platform-based Darksiders: Genesis, of a Teamup between War and Strife.... but tbf i dont consider that a real follow-up or finale to the immense story... more of a filler. The magnificent story was built up well(though DS3 was a bit less then the first 2 games)... The story needs a Final game, probably Strife in the lead there,...showcased a little in DS3; Strife was all over the place, covering the other 3 Horsemen already, and sent on his own missions by the Counsil. In DS3 we learnt that the Charred Counsil kept a hidden Agenda, that went against the Balance and their very own Laws that the Horsement were to enforce! And iirc, Corruption(Absolom) was a creation of Lucifer's doing? so a DS4 should have húge bosses like the Charred Counsil, and Lucifer himself in it, to complete the saga, and the prophecy: 'When the Seventh Seal is broken, Four Horsemen shall ride forth to punish the wicked. All upon the Earth shall be judged, and the pact forged anew!" With War killing the Destroyed, and shattering his army, Death having cleared the accusations and restoring Mankind, Fury figuring out the deeper plot, i think Strife is to add the last pieces to the puzzle, unmasking Lucifer's gréat scheme, and perhaps the Charred Counsil having known all along, either batting an eye because it served their Agenda of weaking the Realms, or even having aided Lucifer? ... It was the Counsil that actually 'let the Seven Sins escape'... how? ..the Sins wreacked Havoc on the last remains of Humanity! There's more to the story! There's parts missing, and the REAL enemy of the entire Saga is mostly known,,, yet not punished! Balance has not yet been restored!

10:24 the way he says that with arrogance
Played darksiders 3 and death is still my favourite. "And the numver of the riders shall ever be 4".
42:30 Man... This quote has stuck with me for so long.
Its one most people might ignore but to me this is the one that hits the hardest.
"Your secrets die with you... old fool..."
Fucking love that line
"This is no place for a horse" must be mine.....He seems to say it enough to me LoL
1:36:27 I would do the same, I would get tired of everyones shit, riddles, and cryptic answers
58:10 yeah and THIS is a place for a FUCKING HORSE!?
1:54:20 always goosebumps
Who would ever Think they would actually be rooting for Death to succeed?
The Irony.
I want Death as an older brother lol
@Austinsuav3 "Doesn't follow order" is a pretty big understatement dont you think?
@Austinsuav3 He was about to fuck up the entire race of humans... More importantly, he was about to stab Fury to death in his bloodthirst. That's why Death took his arm. It wasn't about not following orders, it was about War attacking his family because he wouldn't back down on his own bloodthirst. Death did say to take it as a lesson.
Same. Honestly would be awesome to tell your bullies” don’t make me call up my bro” and the bullies being cocky until death showed up. The terror on those malakēs’ faces would be glorious.
I just re-watched this video for the 7th, including the time I played this game. The voice acting in both the 1st game and this is awesome.
Amazing game. I love Death.
Death is a guy who is fair, I love him for this property.
Who is here after DS3 trailer?
me
fury
Im going to pull your guts out of ur halo
Death is my first favorite Horseman, but War can always shatter an army. Now, I must see fury in action.
Michael wincott got the best voice ever !!
1:43:34 Michael’s voice scares me every time damn
Was only me who cryed at Deaths leap of faith at the Well of Souls and then at the end when Death reappears with his brothers (War,Strife and Fury)?
darcsiders th-cam.com/video/3zow-GM-k0g/w-d-xo.html
Still one of my fav cutscene from the game 1:36:27
who’s here as a refresher for darksiders 3 for september of free ps plus?
thanks for making sure the sounds mate up with the video. unlike other channels i can name....
War is basically super buff arthas before he became the lich king but still a death Knight. With the voice of illdian stormrage
Deaths voice actor is fantastic, he makes Death sound mystirios as it should be
Loved this game but god damn the endless fetch quests burned me out so fast. I got to Earth and just put down the controller and said "I can't do it anymore."
MrTotallySad I kinda hear ya this is still one of my favorite stories of all time but I’d say the part I would’ve made shorter is kingdom of the dead because it just makes you feel like a fool for half of it (getting the three judges for the king to just kill them). It just doesn’t make you feel you accomplished something and then you just go on. Badass cutscenes and all that but man that whole part of the quest just tests your patience. Then the heaven and earth bit were cool but by that point yeah I can see why people would stop for a while.
Hell, Darksiders is legend to me. Completed it well over ten times. Legendary game.
I've never played or really knew the premise of the adventure. This is a really great game and great story, my thanks to this platform to help me understand it. Thank you
7:44 man first time I saw this i was mindblown!
I love the soundtrack- especially the Guardian fight theme
1:52:33 My new favorite quote
Thank you very much for an upload like this so Goodbye from Italy andd Sorry For My English writing
This game polished much from the last one and i like the designs even more in this game. Eager waiting the next one.
And the number of the riders shall ever be four. One of the best lines ever
Mannnn I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH. EVERY ASPECT OF IT.
I REALLY HOPE, if we get DS4....that it'll be similar to this one.
With more DLC and lore to explore
Just discovered that I can play Darksiders II on backwards compatibility for Xbox One, I've just lost what remains of my weekend
And the Darksiders series are really some of the best games to have and play.
Death- I’m not your errand boy”
Developers- we’ll see about that!
I don’t care what anyone says darksiders 2 will always be the best and death is the best horsemen
Death has the best fighting style of all the horsemen so far
I know it's to balance the game but
Death can't maintain his true reaping form even for 20 seconds😂 *makes sense*
But he is my favourite character no doubt
"I should kill you for what your brother did"
That's a funny joke.
The only reason she will be able to kill War is because he let her, and she thinks she can take Death?
Vuuuulgriim... What brings you crawling out of the shadows?
Is it just me, or is there parts of Micheal Wincott's voice for Death that sounds somewhat like John Hurt?
thanks for this. just beat the first one again since it was free on xbox live this month. i never did beat this second one so it was cool to just watch this to get the full experience
few years ago i played this game. it was wonderful- just compare it with 3 and the last one ; i do not recall the name but 2 was a masterpiece
DS1 was War's story to kill the Destroyer
DS2 was Death's task to undo the destruction of Humanity and cleanse War of the accusation of triggering the End-War.
DS3 was Fury's quest to kill the Seven Sins
There was a platform-based Darksiders: Genesis, of a Teamup between War and Strife.... but tbf i dont consider that a real follow-up or finale to the immense story... more of a filler.
All upon the Earth shall be judged, and the pact forged anew!"
With War killing the Destroyed, and shattering his army, Death having cleared the accusations and restoring Mankind, Fury figuring out the deeper plot, i think Strife is to add the last pieces to the puzzle, unmasking Lucifer's gréat scheme, and perhaps the Charred Counsil having known all along, either batting an eye because it served their Agenda of weaking the Realms, or even having aided Lucifer?

My rational thoughts: "He obviously was meant to cough, but they didn't record it."
My crackhead brain: The Old One just fucking dabbed on Death.
Damn death u can't even ring a bell properly he just cut it in half
