Ehhh no I personally love the Netflix version of both Dracula and Alucard a bit more. They definitely fit This one definitely with a darker narrative but they definitely went more in depth into the characters minds in the Netflix adaptation (surprisingly given its fucking Netflix) you can feel more of Dracula’s human side where you get to see the monstrous nature of man more through Issac.

A tactician and alchemist who similarly turns his back on God after losing his wife (Elizabeth) while away on a crusade (or something like that) and turns himself into a vampire. Thereby betraying Leon Belmont (his best friend) who swears his bloodline will hunt him down forever. Cue the rest of the Belmonts hunting him down. The same with Alucard. In LoS it's Trevor Belmont, the human son of Gabriel and Marie turned vampire by ingesting the blood of his (by then vampire) father. In Symphony it's Adrian Tepes (needed some Googling on the name), a half-vampire born from Dracula (Mathias) and a human mother (Lisa, who was burned as a witch). So the LoS1, Morror of Fate and LoS2 trilogy are a stand-alone series. That was my understanding, at least. I do have LOS1 and 2 still original (MoF digitally). I only missed the DLC's so had to learn the deal with Laura that turned him into a vampire seperately. I'm way too much of a hoarder to actually get rid of a game, even the games I don't really like.

This timeline is pretty straightforward with little bit of inconsistency. So the game in chronological order would be Los 1, mirror of fate then Los 2. The first scene where brotherhood attack drac castle happened during the first dracula resurection after gabiel was defeated by trevor and belmont at mirror of fate. Then after that drac was put on a deep sleep by alucard. After that he was awakened again like the start of the video
And even Alucard would've decided it was necessary, as in order for their plan to work they needed Drac back in shape. Though he might have picked other, less innocent humans to fill that role.

Played and Beat both Castlevania: Lords of Shadows 1 & 2, didn't recall Alucard as playable character nor events of cutscenes at beginning of the movie! It took me a moment to realize that i was watching Mirror of Fate which i didn't get to play (no internet service at time when played both Games to obtain it from PlayStation Store 😞) or else would have if knew could play as Alucard! Symphony of the Night was a Hugh Favorite of mine when PlayStation One said "Hey, check this game out...) and I never stopped playing it ever since. Not just PS One but also on PSP Castlevania: Rondo of Blood where You could access Symphony of the Night as a Hidden Bonus Game. Now Google Playstore has Symphony for Android Mobile, thankful finally can play once again. Don't care what criticism is given on the Lords of Shadow 1 & 2 (im still a fan of the Original Castlevania - castlevania 2 simon's quest was a big favorite of mine and all of the Castlevania Story Lines that would follow across the many consoles & handhelds devices from the '80's,'90's, and 2000's) im glad i had both Lords of Shadows and though Part 2 wasn't as Grand as the First, i was impressed with them both. Have to say it cus it bothered me... Dracula can't die anymore with Vampire Killer... Simple reason is that part of Vampire Killer was used to make Alucard's sword and thus even the restored Vampire Killer isn't actually the same weapon. Yeah it looks the same and everything, may even function normally in most cases, but overall a part of the magic that was in the original weapon is no longer with the weapon. He'd have to get stabbed with both weapons to be slain for it to make sense in the universe this reboot is making.
I see the point your making, sadly I think they were just going with the idea that it was more about the material used to make the weapon, if I remember correctly form the journal entries for the combat cross upgrades. lords of shadow was about 100 years after jesus was crucified the nails, wood and the spear of destiny was used to make the first combat cross. along with other blesses/holy artifacts allowing it to still kill even if broken. it was meant to be the ultimate suprnatural angelic/demon killer.

Have to say it cus it bothered me... Dracula can't die anymore with Vampire Killer... Simple reason is that part of Vampire Killer was used to make Alucard's sword and thus even the restored Vampire Killer isn't actually the same weapon.
Yeah it looks the same and everything, may even function normally in most cases, but overall a part of the magic that was in the original weapon is no longer with the weapon.
He'd have to get stabbed with both weapons to be slain for it to make sense in the universe this reboot is making.
I see the point your making, sadly I think they were just going with the idea that it was more about the material used to make the weapon, if I remember correctly form the journal entries for the combat cross upgrades. lords of shadow was about 100 years after jesus was crucified the nails, wood and the spear of destiny was used to make the first combat cross. along with other blesses/holy artifacts allowing it to still kill even if broken. it was meant to be the ultimate suprnatural angelic/demon killer.
