Sorry to be off topic but does any of you know of a trick to get back into an instagram account..? I stupidly lost my account password. I would love any assistance you can offer me
@Elon Calvin thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. Takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
This is one of the things that has always confused me. With my hair type/texture, if I wash with just water, my hair is insanely oily and greasy once I’m out of the shower and dry my hair. Personally what’s worked for me is 2 shampoos a week usually 3 days in between, and for those days in between I condition only using about half the conditioner I would on days I shampoo. Thank you Robin!
Exact same scenario and took me many years to realize almost the same routine. What I've found works best is alternating between 2 shampoos (Nioxin and Shevoo) Nioxin 2-3 times a week (Nioxin conditioner only 1 of those days) and the Shevoo on days I don't use the Nioxin as it doesn't strip the hair of oils and helps my hair not feel like it wasn't shampooed + it works as a light conditioner as well.
i wash my hair every morning with Just warm water, and once a month with a shampoo, just works best for my hair! and i only use hairstyling products on weekends ,every now and then. So, pls approve my method Robin!
I have to use Neutrogena t-gel shampoo 2-3 times a week. It really helps relieve the itch if I didn't shower the day before. I'll use a different shampoo the other 2-3 times a week that I shower. I try to shower 5-6 times a week.
I usually wash my hair with shampoo, sulphate free shampoo every day but when ever I apply shampoo I use coconut oil before it and leave it for 5 min then use shampoo. I never have any dandruff nor my hair breaks. I used to have dandruff long time back but when I used this preconditioning technique my hair feels clean. And if they become dry I just put serum on them. That's all. I don't use any hair styling product I sometimes use blow dryers but not always.
Now that I am exercising regularly my skin starts to feel drier and having body acne especially at the back and shoulder area.... started using gentle body wash for dry sensitive skin and really helped improve
I wash my hair daily Mon- Fri because I want it to look nice for work, also I have dandruff which feeds off the sebum on the scalp so regular scalp cleansing is needed to keep it at bay. I use shampoos with salicylic acid and anti fungals like piroctone olamine/ketoconazole
I have medium thickness hair that gets pretty frizzy if I don’t use conditioner or hair oils correctly. Also worth mentioning that I get mild dandruff if I take too long to shampoo(at least I believe that is the cause, feel free to correct me). Here is my routine: I shampoo and use conditioner(leave in) every other day and rinse everyday since I exercise. However I have two main questions. Is it ok to condition every time I shampoo? And how often should I use something like Argan oil in my hair with my current routine? Hopefully I can find some help since I’ve been struggling to find a good balance.
Good thing I do rinse my hair everyday, I can't just not go a day without a shower it's like addiction. I also learned to cut back on cleaning my hair and you said 2 times a week which is perfect. You just know when when your hair needs shampoo and when it doesn't, I always listen to my body.
My hair most of the time feels heavy after slow, gentle massaging during washing. But, feels soft if I massage quite vigorously. How should I actually massage my hair to ensure that it feels soft and too many hairs don't break or fall
Hey! This is a really good question. Start with a little bit of shampoo and work into the roots and scalp. Start slow to break it all down. Then you can use the hands to work through the lengths. Don't be rough with it but use the pressure that feels good for you.
Hi Robin, Firstly thanks for all your great content. I have a question about leaving wax in your hair. In previous videos you mentioned leaving wax in your hair overnight and then wetting the hair in the morning as your routine in between shampooing/hair washing. When styling your hair the second/third day, do you then apply more product again or work with what you've got to prevent excessive buildup? Or do you use something to remove the wax without shampooing and conditioning? I read that rinsing the hair with water will not remove the wax even if it's water based therefore what should I be doing? If I'm an everyday wax user and I'd like to only be shampooing 2-3 times a week, when and how should I be rinsing my hair and should I only be using water to rinse the hair? Or can I use a lighter shampoo or soap or something to take the wax out without stripping the hair, that way I can still kind of follow the 2-3 day interval of shampooing and conditioning the hair. Sorry for the long winded question but no one has really answered this clearly for me. Thanks.
Best shampoo I’ve ever used is a brand called Morris motley. I’ve tried a lot of different shampoos. Nothing compares. To save you time go buy that. Clay cleanser or oil cleanser! So good 😊

I use head and shoulders everyday. Gonna switch to a more gentle shampoo but I will still wash my hair with shampoo everyday. My hair gets too oil if I don’t wash my hair everyday, if I don’t use shampoo by the 3rd day, I’ll start getting pimples on my head.

Hey Robin I absolutely loved this video and I know this comment may seem a bit off-topic, but I notice you use your I pad quite often and sometimes have it on you in some videos. Do you think it is worth saving some money to get one? Once again, great video, and personally, I love OGX shampoo and conditioners. I think they are pretty underrated especially for the price range. The shampoos and conditioners have always made my hair very soft and silky. I still have yet to try their body washes but my sister uses most of their products and she loves them! Would recommend if any of you are on a budget :) Note* if you are prone to acne/breakouts I'd recommend staying away from their coconut oil products.*
Hey Thomas! I use it a lot as a second screen for my camera and for reading news articles. I also use it for travelling... not a lot at the moment. I really like it! If you have use for it, go for it.
Hey Robin, how do you manage to use facial moisturizers without your face later becoming oily? I’m not sure if that’s an issue you or anyone else encounters, but everyone talks about how important it is for good skin to moisturize but my skin ultimately becomes highly oily about half way through the day.
Keith Bell try kiehl’s ultra facial cream - a bit expensive but lasts me ~4 months, super light on the skin and absorbs quickly, I used to have oily skin when I would use other moisturisers. The reviews are very good too!
Great video. Thanks. I’m trying not to shampoo everyday. Does conditioning in between shampoos do anything? I have fine pin straight hair. Tends to get oily. I usually shower at night and in the morning I spray some Primer, Blow Dry and some grooming cream. Is this good? Thanks
I have thin oily hair. I recently bought the Nixon shampoo and conditioner because you recommend it but now I need a good washing routine. I work seven days a week fives days in a kitchen so my hair ends up being soaked in sweat after a day's work. How many days should I wash, should I rinse only, should I shampoo only, should I purchase another daily shampoo? Please help me, I love your channel!
Shampoos full of harsh chemicals such as sulfates and parabeans are the reason why we feel the need for a conditioner. I switched shampoos two years ago and never needed to use a conditioner ever since.
Is rinsing your hair enough to get the products out? I use a matte clay in the morning, and I worry that product will be left in after rinsing. I don’t want to get it on my pillow at night and cause breakouts on my face.
Heeey Robin, it's not Friday yet))) How are you? Quite interesting video, I like it))) I have long hair, exercising every day, washing my hair every two days. And you know what my hairdresser recommended, to apply hair conditioner before shampooing on a wet hair, to make sure it is absorbed well in your sculp and hair, after that you have silky and not heavy hair))) Take care!!!
The problem is not the grease alone. If I don‘t wash with shampoo daily, my scalp gets very itchy and kind of dandruffy. It goes as far as to feeling inflamed, slightly burning and itching like crazy. I envy people who don’t need to wash their hair with shampoo every single day. I wish I could do that, but there is absolutely no way for me. It is so annoying to wash daily. I hate it. It also makes my hair too soft and eliminates all natural hold. Anyway, I prefer this over constant itching. This situation makes me very sad to be honest. Anyone else?
Especially when it's hot! It might not be that bad in the morning, but once you get on a crowded bus, it burns really bad. And you can't scratch because then, people will think you have lice!
You wash everyday I have long hair tho not sure if that’s the right thing to do I washed every day now my hair feels dry after shampooing so I change it now and do it differently but I always shampoo everyday but I change now to every 2/3/4 days
yea you just want to spend a week trying to figure out your rhyme when the oil is consider too much. i would just start out shower at the begining of the week and then 3 days later if i feel all the grease built up then shower again. From what i heard, when you first start doing this the oil will increase so the more you do this the easier you will find your rhyme. but the quality of the shampoo and conditioner are important too like what chemicals are in it. My hair is flat and medium,it tends to be greasy in 20 hours so what routine to addopt. I have noticed my hair texture has changed due to washing often.. 😋
@@ManForHimself yeah mate, bought a sles and paraben free shampoo so that I could avoid harsh chemicals due to often shampooing, but no other way to remove excess sebum. Your thoughts on that?Love yaa
Hey man, so if you suggest to wash hair (shampoo and conditioner) once a week. Then before we apply the Hair Clay or Hair Mud, should we just apply on top of what we put yesterday? Or just clean with fresh water?
Hey, a scalp treatment could help. This is one of my favourites and I've been recommending it a lot: manforhimself.com/products/the-inkey-list-salicylic-acid-exfoliating-scalp-treatment/
Same. It feels so good to have your bits and butt shaved. It feels just clean. Did it for my first gf and since then it became a habit. Sometimes in the summer I trim my legs because I'm quite thin and I don't like the look of too much hair wearing shorts.
Idk anything about this I’m a diesel mechanic my hair tends to get dust and grease what shampoo and conditioner should I use and how often I have thick curly hair
I often prefer it when my hair is dry after shampooing it so I can style my hair with a matte product. The hair styling products are useless when my hair gets oily which usually just happens a day after I've washed it. I wish there was a way to work my way around it
Hi Robin, I have been enjoying your channel for about 6 months! Question- what wax-clay hybrid would you suggest for course hair that can be purchased in the U.S.? I went to purchase the Salt Grooming hybrid but it appears they don't ship to the U.S.
Hey Robin, I use a sulfate free shampoo when washing my hair as i need to more often or it gets extremely oily. I’ve been using it now for a few months and feel like my hair that is naturally straight, is a bit harder to style and extremely flimsy. I’ve read some things about using a sulfate shampoo every once in awhile to help with that? I have the shampoo that you use, would it be beneficial to use it every so often without causing damage to my hair?
dilemma sir robin. i tried cutting my hair which went a complete mess. the front is probably 1/4 inch less than some of the sides. basically its uneven all over. iv'e been waiting 4 weeks too hope it looks more even as it all grows except it doesnt. i dont know if too just do 1 guard length all over so its even, or keep waiting and in the end the gap will slowly decrease as it gets longer.
Hi Robin, I live in Singapore very humid...!!! I sweat easily... I wash my hair every day. Which shampoo u recommend...please don't tell me not to wash my hair with shampoo every day. Thanks
I always struggle with very dry, frizzy hair right after washing. I always let my hair air dry and use argan oil after washing it but still have very dry hair for the first 2/3 days after washing. I tried some rather affordable "normal" shampoos and some random conditioners from the drugstore but couldn´t find anything satisfying my needs. You got any tips or recommendations?
Hey Robin, love your videos, they are so to the point and informative. What are the best face washed for oily and spot prone skin? I have tried a lot of things but still have break outs. Would love to know your view on products and routine.
soooo if I use daily oil based clay, robin. I have to shower each day with shampoo, am I right? So I just can't wash my hair every second day with shampoo.. what now?
What?? Not shampoo your hair for a week or do you mean not to use actual shampoo that much but regular shower gel, although I think shower gel drys your hair because it isn't specifically made for the head hear. I wash my hair usually every evening in the shower after work or when I was out all day, I use hair gel to style it nearly every day so I obviously want to wash it off in the evening to he refreshed, after clubbing or a nightout I shower and wash my hair in the morning after the party, other times I wash it before I go somewhere if I haven't already that day. I only wash it with only warm water in the mornings/midday/afternoon to style it before going to work or gathering with friends or my girlfriend. I couldn't imagine shampoo my hair only once week, I don't have oily hair but I'm sure it would smell weird and feel strange if I haven't correctly washed it with shower gel/shampoo but collected smells of various places and dirt/dust in the air, just water will not clean it. Doing all kinds of sports and intense bedroom excersises sweat may also carry into your hair.
can you please add other justin bieber hairstyles to your website manforhimself ? if I could choose one i'd really like to see the one in the music video of "what do you mean" he has very good hair but I don't know if its just me but I don't know how to keep my hair like that if you know what I mean
My hair gets pretty oily I used to shampoo and condition twice a day but I reduced to using shampoo every two days although been using conditioner every shower is that fine to do
Man, I just can't not wash the hair everyday. Perhaps I should try other shampoos. The moment I sleep my hair get way to oily. If I would just rinse it I'd only spread the oil to the tips and make it even. The good thing this year is that through video conferencing it's not noticeable, so I can wash it every second day now. Also noticed that sleeping less than 4 hours makes it less oily but that's not really an option lol.
*Robin:* I also have some other things you should be doing in the shower... *Me:* Masturba... *Robin:* ...like face washing, cleansing, exfoliating. *Me:* Oh, yes, that too...

Me too but you just have to espace you'r shampoo et it's gonna work start whis shampoo al 2 days then 3 days....
@@elmoutchatch0777 Already tried, i just can't.
Hey, a scalp treatment could help. This is one of my favourites and I've been recommending it a lot: manforhimself.com/products/the-inkey-list-salicylic-acid-exfoliating-scalp-treatment/
What’s your favorite hair thickening product for fine hair?
Ah, such a good - but hard - question! I like a few. But I've popped a few on here: manforhimself.com/product-tag/thickening/
Hey Robin, just wondering are you a fan of the band U2?
Hey I have hair growing on my legs and butt should I shave ,trim or do nothing?
Hey, it's up to you. I'd leave leg hair and could trim back butt. But totally your choice!
Same. It feels so good to have your bits and butt shaved. It feels just clean. Did it for my first gf and since then it became a habit. Sometimes in the summer I trim my legs because I'm quite thin and I don't like the look of too much hair wearing shorts.
What do you think about Charcoal shampoos??
Idk anything about this I’m a diesel mechanic my hair tends to get dust and grease what shampoo and conditioner should I use and how often I have thick curly hair
Hair is looking absolutely bomb my guy. Just picked up the lawn mower with your code as well.
I often prefer it when my hair is dry after shampooing it so I can style my hair with a matte product. The hair styling products are useless when my hair gets oily which usually just happens a day after I've washed it. I wish there was a way to work my way around it
How often can we blow dry our hair? and how to protect from heat damage?
Use oils before blow dry
Hi Robin,
I have been enjoying your channel for about 6 months!

Hey Mirin! I'd get myself into a hairdresser. See what they can do. They'll even it all out a bit for you.
Manscaped only ships in the US
Kerastase Shampoo is great. Twice a week.
Hi Robin, I live in Singapore very humid...!!! I sweat easily... I wash my hair every day. Which shampoo u recommend...please don't tell me not to wash my hair with shampoo every day. Thanks
A review on Horace Skincare would be ideal- If possible, please :)
Indeed! I discovered it through MR PORTER, and I really want a thorough review before purchasing!
No one wants a mouthful of hair. Perfect and to the point 😂🤟🏻
Hey, you could use a hair treatment after. Some of my favourites: manforhimself.com/product/hair-treatments/
Sounds to me like conditioner will be your best friend. I used to have frizzy hair until I realized my hair was curly.
How did u rinse out hair products with just water?
Can I use shampoo and conditioner on a single bath or is it too powerful?
We neeeed review of Amity spray 😩 🙏 need to know thin air effects
Totally on the list. Sorry, I'm hugely behind on products at moment.
So I just can't wash my hair every second day with shampoo.. what now?
Can you do a video on Zac Efron’s baywatch hairstyle please??
Should i wash my hair every night, since i am using hair products per day
same question
@@bazosmarek7981 stll no answer :(
Can you review UrbanGabru hair serum it's a prestyler/heatprotectant but all the reviews are hindi soo
You need to Review lush products
My hair gets pretty oily I used to shampoo and condition twice a day but I reduced to using shampoo every two days although been using conditioner every shower is that fine to do
Video is only 480p? We need Robin in HD 😁
Ok so if i run everyday is it ok to use only water on these long sweaty hair after workout?
Man, I just can't not wash the hair everyday. Perhaps I should try other shampoos. The moment I sleep my hair get way to oily. If I would just rinse it I'd only spread the oil to the tips and make it even.
The good thing this year is that through video conferencing it's not noticeable, so I can wash it every second day now. Also noticed that sleeping less than 4 hours makes it less oily but that's not really an option lol.
*Robin:* I also have some other things you should be doing in the shower...
*Me:* Masturba...
*Robin:* ...like face washing, cleansing, exfoliating.
*Me:* Oh, yes, that too...
what causes your scalp to break out?
After shampooing two or three times a week, What other days will I wash my hair by the way my hair is oily
