You should force towards weak hand when you close out in the corner. Because players step out of bounds a lot more when going to their weak hand.

interesting take. about the video, is this based on a packline defense? the way they close inside and guard drives but then quickly open up on kick out passes seems like packline concepts. he said the defense is this way because of the PnR scheme too
