    With the Tibetan technique, when you say to go through the loop next to the standing end, I find it helpful to think of an 'upstream' and 'downstream'. In this instance, you're looping the working end through the loop, downstream of the standing end. It's helped me avoid getting weird lumps and wrongly knotted sections.

    If my Streamlight Stylus Pro didn't have a crappy pocket clip, I'd put one of these on it. The trick with using the micro-cord to pull a piece of 550 through a smaller hole was great, too. I must remember that one!

      Hi Susan, which video are you referring to? This one? I'm not sure which case/bag you're referring to.

    Great way to finish tips is to, slightly pull the white chords out and gently roll the color outter down like a turtle neck, and then cut the white as short as possible and tuck into the color collar as you roll that up, now hit it with a torch and roll with the textured tool and it will show only the exterior color. Looking much cleaner, also you don’t have to burn it so heavily to blacken it you can take your time and do multiple melts or hit it with a soldering iron too, if fray is a concern.

    I used the last lanyard tutorial for my Leatherman Wave multi tool which has a quick release lanyard ring, it took a couple of double takes but Hey, it's a fantastic lanyard.
    Thank you for sharing your skills with us!🇺🇸✌️

    what's cool about the noose knot is that its quick deploying paracord if u need it. so u can hold stuff together. oh and is there any date for when the new stickers are coming out?

    • @TheWeaversofEternity
      @TheWeaversofEternity  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I've got some stickers that I've been sending out with orders for when people bought anything from my site, but I'll see if I can just put some stickers up there by themselves!

    Can you make the lanyard that looks like the one with the Heretic Manticore X Predator Cobalt bead? Its Black outer weave with the loop being red up the middle of it like the outer weave is built around the looped red. If you search Heretic Manitcore X Predator you will see the special Lanyard it has.

    What is the middle knot called? For some reason i can't do it. I am doing something wrong and I don't know what it is. I need to see it done in another video in hopes it clicks with me.

      It's the snake knot. I've got a couple of alternate tutorials for that here: th-cam.com/video/MQJ6Josi7YA/w-d-xo.html and th-cam.com/video/vzJv2ZMWV14/w-d-xo.html. Hope one of these can work a better for you.

    Hey Tim. Love the videos. I have a question, have you ever seen a torch lanyard that’s similar to these incorporating a Paracord bead but somehow incorporates a hidden loop that goes over your wrist, maybe pull the bottom knot and it lengthens to reveal a loop even if it means a tail is there somewhere. Your ideas are great and thought if there is ANYTHING out there like that you would know! I have a P7 Led lenser torch both for protection and seeing, but I have a disability and need a loop round my wrist for times the torch escapes my grip when taking my pup out on dark nights! I also may use one of if your other vides to wrap the torch but all depends on the grip once done. When it’s cold the torch itself gets very cold, I also have Raynaud’s disease and when things or I get cold my grip is not great outside, and inevitably the need of the “pup” to get out I guarantee my gloves are sat on the bench! Thank you for your videos they have kept me company in the wee small hours when pain keeps me up. Just wish we had access to Paracord in the U.K. like you do in Canada. Stay safe!

    I don't know how many times I watched the instructions for the snake knot... but I just can't do it. So I ended up with a simple knot and a loose end of paracord on my knife. It'll do... I guess... 😂

    We pushed for ever lighter and smaller edc gear, until things got so small we need lanyards, just to find in pockets and to get a grip on...crazy.

      That much paracord weighs next to nothing, where that much metal, glass and battery is substantially more weight than the paracord. I dont disagree with your sentiment necessarily, just saying I understand the other side
