Brilliant!!! That looks great and, according to Judith, the grass looks fantastic!!! Yes, she asked me how you did it and I explained that you used a hair dryer!!!! That said, its really good!!!
Hi Simon! I love these little Bubble Cars, in fact, I only just took delivery of one in blue / grey livery about half an hour ago and will be running it in tonight! Like you say, they seem to be very detailed! However, I think I'm going to have a go at fitting the accessory pack, as I'm not planning on coupling mine up to anything, so that will definitely be a test for my eyesight! All the best, Ian.
I finally broke one of the exhausts on mine getting it out of the box. Getting spares is impossible. I hope you have better luck Ian. I am considering getting a dummy car for mine. I just look on ebay from time to time. Cheers
@@ngaugeonashelf4417 - Ah, the old getting it out of the box problem! Yeah, I managed to somehow chip a bit of yellow paintwork off mine when getting it out of the box for the second time! Doh! It'll remain on the layout from now on methinks! Ian
@@iansngauge I'm going to find a storage option in the future once the bottom shelf is clear of building materials. Something with a cover so they don't get covered in dust.
Hi Simon, you know I thought you'd taken it out with you to the golf course!! That's a backhanded compliment on your grass, it looks superb!! Nice engine as well, looks very well detailed. Well done, have a great week
@@ngaugeonashelf4417 Bad luck Simon, just been watching the news down here apparently it was snowing up north on the Pyrenees today. Boiling down our way and no "R" in sight. Still plenty more to do on your layout I'm sure, even though your videos were from some time ago.

Greetings Simon, The Dapol Bubble Car is a class act alright 👍 You should look out for a "dummy" to go along with it 🤔 makes a nice two car unit 👼Very best wishes from the Emerald Isle ☘
I've been looking for a dummy on ebay and looking for a spares and repairs one too. I broke one of the exhausts and you can't get spares. You would think with all the breakable detail on modern models having a good spares stock would be essential.
@@Wickford_N_Gauge I will make something up when I have some free time. Other than that it's looking for a junk item on ebay. I now have 3 Dapol locos and it's a love - hate relationship. Damn things are too light and don't like parts of my track. The flanges look too shallow to me.
@@ngaugeonashelf4417 yes I believe it would have been better, though its always difficult to tell on camera! Amazing model though.... its astounding what can be done in N gauge now 😳
@@Decrepit_biker I saw it on another channel and asked the guy what it was and how it was illuminated. I just copied. It's the only diesel I will own. I did own a Farish GWR railcar and then sold it. Should of kept it. In fact I might be getting another.

It's not a hair dryer. It's a charged applicator that makes it stand up. Like rubbing a balloon on your hair. I'll make another video about it. Cheers

The great week is our 11th or 12th wet week. You can see why I've got so far with the layout as I can't get out to play golf! Fed up now David.

I've broken a couple myself too 😳a bit of bent wire does the trick 👍 Dapol are notorious for keeping no spares 🙄

Too easy Simon 2.01 Nice model, it deserves inclusion. Ron
They were built in Gloucester works Ron. I wonder where that was? Possibly that mass of sidings opposite platform 1 at a guess.
Be careful Simon, Diesels grow on you, you may eventually overdose like me and build a TMD.
Don't worry. Even my love of minitrix will not make me buy any their diesels.
Great looking model, though the light bar is way too bright and white!
Perhaps the soft yellow would of been better.
