Today i built a budget water cooled gaming pc build worth around $500. My plan is to see how this PC performs in modern games with some of the hardware being 8 years old. Yes we will be showing gaming benchmarks to show just how well old hardware can perform.

I have an i7 9700k and with it an RTX 3090 EVGA FTW3 ultra. Everything is custom cooling. The games rest on the graphics. The processor does not load much, except single games. And the graphics in 2k can easily be loaded to 100% with modern games. By the way, I use the same M2 disk as an additional one, only for 2 TB. Basic Samsung 970 EVO PLUS.

Hmm, the motherboard supports up to 4400Mhz but the CPU only supports 2666 ? Kind of weird that it has issues.

@@DesignsByIFR Weird!! On my 9900K I had XMP memory running at 3600Mhz :D I know this since I still have the Mobo+CPU :D (It is Team Group 16CL-3600Mhz XMP memory).
I thought the 9700K supports the same memory as the 9900K.

But what were the prices of all those pieces of hardware when they were brand new? Just saying that these are high end without providing figures doesn't allow us to determine things like performance per price, which sort of defeats the purpose of the video IMO.
But the price of the parts back in the day isnt really relevant now?
It depends on how much you cqn actually pick them up for in todays pricing which will vary depending on how good of a deal you can get
