The first case can still be reused even without a side panel. I've cut acrylic windows and mounted them to cases missing side panels before and they look great.
Dude fbm can be a gold mine. I found a full pc for $250 this week with insane specs. Rtx 2080 Ryzen 3700x 16gb ddr4 3200mhz 500gb Samsung nvme ssd X570 mobo 850watt psu. Atx NZXT Tempered glass case. Dude was just liquidating because he was about to head to boot camp.
wtfff, you could flip a pc like that if you wanted for a much higher price, or, alternatively, just keep it, upgrade the ssd to a 1tb drive and upgrade the ram to 32gb 3600mhz and upgrade the gpu and cpu to something better later on (like a 5700x3d with a 3090 or 6800 xt) when the 50 series launches, as we should be able to expect prices to drop for thos ehigher end last gen cards when nvidia 50 series launches
@@takik.2220 I already swapped the 3700x for a 5600x I had laying around (marginally better gaming performance at 1080p) and made it my wife's computer. She had a 2080 system but with most of the other parts alittle worse.
BTW you need to get a clip for your mike so you can wear it all the time instead of having it on your camera. Also it doesn't seem synced perfectly, idk if it is or not, but it's weird.
Because it is a 8350.. most aircoolers from that time where barely capable of cooling that chip to be able to use it to its full potential at stock speeds. Max advertised temperatures for the 8350 was under 65C before it would start to degrade. (Yes really) I had a custom loop on my CPU only which costed more than the processor itself! These CPU's where advertised as being 125W cpu's but a lot of times (And especially on higher end motherboards) they would pull way more than that. So it is not really weird that the seller had a AIO on his 8350
I mean, i don't think that the first GPU of the first faulty was mentioned but if it works and sellable, you can buy more storage for the 100$ PC and it will be all legit in my book. :)
Ya I spent about $2K CAD on my prebuilt gaming pc but that was 2 years ago. Now my PC is probably only worth about $1K. I would never spend $2K on just a GPU alone (aka 4090). That's just nonsense especially when I don't play too many AAA games anyway.

This video gave me so much hope, cause I’m trying to build my own PC to meet the PC Requirements for FF14 but I’m broke af 😢 Do you have any advice when building budget PC? Cause I’m dying to find parts on FB Marketplace and is not working for me
You could install very cut down windows 10 from one forum(where else would you find 1gb iso) and modded amd drivers from radeon id. This pc could run some newer titles IMO after some tweaks.
I got a free 7010 optiplex MT from work with 32gb ram, bought a 600w psu, 480gb ssd and a an rx580 8gb for $90 I only really play Genshin and Star Rail and they run mint at hugh custom settings
this is a really good video, maybe next you could try 200 then 300 dollars.
Appreciate the idea bro I might do a $200 gaming pc challenge aswell thanks!
@@ECLTech1 Only do one of the two videos. If not then people will think ur just copying and pasting content. Just a tip, love the vid :)

nice vid, maybe the next video could be flipping it and using the money to another system, keep rolling it into a full on modern mid range system
That sounds like a cool series might have a go at that!

That is INSANE. I would pay nearly that amount for the 2080 alone….
Dam bro, 1 in 100 chances of getting a bargain like that 😮😮 one day ill get one
careful, many goods on FBM are stolen
Okay but can it run crysis?
Nfs Heat and Fallout 4. I did a optiplex 990 build paired with a 1660 super ($120 my whole build). The i5 3570 is bottlenecking my 1660 so bad tho.

next time, i'd suggest putting some money aside for a ssd that's big enough for your operating system and some games that you normally play.
Yeah I shoulda tried selling the gpu but I got inpatient 😅

FYI - Fortnite takes 2-3 matches before ANY computer smooths out without stutter. Once it loads in all the textures it's much better.
