Recently subscribed, man you got a great Chanel, I am dipping my toes in the water right now so great timing. Thanks for sharing you wisdom with the community
The Yellow AMMO and orange AK brushes do me just fine absolutely fantastic and long lasting cheap and get them easy I only hand paint in finer detail and chipping n scratches etc prefer brush chips now to the old sponge and masking fluid techniques it's took along time though to get a brush chipping technique just right but we'll worth sticking to it and practice the effects are just so more realistic!
Glad it was helpful! Always take pics of your work. That way you can go back and see where you need to improve. And most of all....ALWAYS try to improve, no matter how good you are!
You forgot to mention, light and bright color can be easily applied using airbrush without brushing a million times on brush. Like yellow, if you brush, it will take you at least 10 or more layers to totally cover a dark background item. unlike with air brush, it will only take 2-3 layers.
True! I'm sure there are million things I could've touched on but I just wanted to get the basic essentials of it. Maybe down the road I will go more in depth on some things.
Mr surfacers are great for airbrushing and filling in the support marks lefts sometimes when the supports are not on a break point! You know when the ball of the tip is set inside your model instead of on the outside so can be sanded off smooth without this round tip dint!
thanks for another great video, can you please post a link for the UV flashlight, i understand that not any uv flashlight will work to cure resin, it has to be in the specific wave length and power or something.
Love your videos! Very down to earth. I just started painting after about 40 years. It's a whole different ball game. The acrylic paints have really been difficult to master compared to oils. I only have one question, where do you get these fantastic large scale models. The standard 28 and 32 mm just doesn't work for me. I've been looking online and can't seem to find anything like what you're painting. Keep up the great videos, because I need all the help that I can find. Thanks, James (Bud) Parks
I've only got one good print from it. It's been more of a pain than any other printer I've used. The customer service is horrible an I'll never own another Anycubic product. If I have to get another printer, I'll shop around.
I’m an old dude who started 3D printing a few years back. Recently, I’ve began to paint more. Your knowledge has been very helpful. Thanks.
Sanding sticks are life

Thanks! I appreciate it 🙏
Thank you so much for this video!
You are so welcome!
I use color source for most of my airbrushing but I also use the cheap folk art paint watered down and get good results
Excellent video
Thank you very much!

Great video, by any chance can you show your lychee settings? I have a mono x and can’t find any settings for lychee always damn chitubox thanks
Haha! All I use is Chitubox my friend.
@@TheCreativeCollector 😂 i see
Can you do a leveling video for anycubic m3 one one similar?
Maybe in the future I can.
I watched your video on setting and I am trying it working great but I’m getting a lot of layer lines manly on the portrait is that normal
Are you using a resin printer? If you have those settings and using good orientation then you should get a good print.
@@TheCreativeCollector yes I have a Elegoo Saturn

Sure thing. I'll update the description area today with a link. Thanks for watching!

Hey James. I get a lot of my models Wicked3D and a lot of different patreons. I usually post the links in my videos. Hope that helps.
Great video, where do u get the files for those models please I have been looking and not sure where to go
Thanks! I usually get the models from a patreon or direct from the artists. Check out Wicked 3D on Facebook. That's where I get most of them from.
Are your paints in nail polish holders? If so that's a great idea because they cost half as much as the Vallejo paint holders on Amazon.
Yes they are! These holders were only $15 each on Amazon. The others are like double the cost.
Do you have any issues with the big Anycubic printers? I want to get one, but I see a lot of complaints about screens and customer service.
I've only got one good print from it. It's been more of a pain than any other printer I've used. The customer service is horrible an I'll never own another Anycubic product. If I have to get another printer, I'll shop around.
@@TheCreativeCollector Thanks, I'll go with the Elegoo 8k or Phrozen.
Commenting just help with algorithm
your are forgetting the skill lol
thanks for the tips
Skill will come in time if you keep at it!
