Just a request, when you review this car next time in GT variant, try to get the Curcuma yellow colour as that hasn't been properly covered in media reviews.
I think thats the uggliest looking colour..thats why no one is doing the reviews on that colour..That colour is not meant for atleast sedans..Sedans are for elegance and class..
White and Red GT looks great

Yeah Virtus looks Sharper indeed ,but I think Slavia looks a little more premium from the front for those Skoda signature Grills ,that gives a Macho look to the Car.Although on the rear Virtus is a clear winner

i just don't understand why no youtuber talks about the fact that this is riddled with issues.. the ac the EPC and all of that.. why will one want to trust a company who has not even tested the vehicle properly . !! why should the initial batch customers suffer even after paying 15-18 lakhs.. why have the company not tested the vehicles at all.. yesterday it was EPC.. today it is ac.. tomorrow it will be something else..
no youtuber shares these things .. it's just disappointing.. u buy car once.. but u have to stick to service and reliability for the next ten years or so . .. please try to be different from others.. just a request..
The 1.0l in polo/vento doesn't get EPC or any issues....only the 2.0 vehicles get it...the problem is with VW India...for full localisation and there is no German part except the engine

@@dlpsr2361 Old polo and vento has other lot of issues especially abs sensors and fuel injector problems...may be EPC not there
@@arjunramdas injectors problem comes with all German engines cause of fuel quality here....ABS is solvable if u take it to Bosch rather than incompetent VW service centre....but EPC problem is something different....if 1 mismatch of sensor installed among 2000+ sensors its hard to rectify unless the person is expert in those...probably the new features in newer models may cause tat glitch...cause 2.0 VW is 95% localisation and uses a Romania based Bosch ECU there might be quite mismatch
Yes sir! I have a 2015 Vento TSI automatic...the Slavia and Virtus build quality does not come close...I have completed 62000 km without any issues till date
How was the AC performance? The new Skoda and VW cars have been suffering from poor cooling.

@@overpowered6620 technology in AC is pathetic and that's most important in India. Even, the ac in Kodiaq isn't great either. If they can fix, why wait 1yr?
3 cylinder rattling sounds come in after 6000 K.M. Initially when the car is new everything is perfect, as engine mounts gets older then engine will start its vibs into the cabin.

Having said that, even Car companies are confusing people like Mobile Phone companies, too many products..But fact is people are confused, again some people even more repent on their selection after buying a brand. It's always like " Could have been that car".

I was also confused booking between the two but came to an decision by taking a test drive.now👇
performance- (both same) but virtus was good at initial punch.
interior quality -(virtus wins) slavia’s interior fit was not good little shaky
steering - (virtus wins) the virtus steering is so so light and smooth like butter.
brakes - both same
sound - both same
seat comfort - same
boot space - same
infotainment system - virtus) because slavia gets smaller 8inch infotainment for those who are booking from now due to the full lockdown in china
slavia pros than virtus
steering buttons gets a chrome finish which looks good.
cruise control is placed in the indicator stick which is nice.
front grill looks appealing.
smart storage spaces like coin holder and mobile pouch.
softer suspension compared to virtus
skoda provide smp(service maintenance package) for ₹24999 for 4 years where as volkswagen charges ₹31999.
virtus pros
first ofall the engine feels bit powerful than slavia and steering also good.
the door thud sound proves its build quality.
the interior finish is good than slavia
length is litlle large than slavia

How come , none of these car-experts ever (like ever mentioned ) the weird sound that all of the 1L tsi manual transmission models make , when shifting gears and accelerating (especially noticeable in the second gear) , btw car gurus if you want to hear that sound, drive with the window rolled down(the sound comes from the front left side)
By the way it does not make any sound in any of the automatic transmission models

5kms mileage maybe if u use kerosene..if u use proper petrol then in city use u ll get 10-14 based on driving manners.. highways with light foot definitely 16-17..

Earlier Skoda rapid was the best looking sedan and my favourite one but dont know what happened but this virtus♥️❤️ is better looking than rapid now . May be vw and skoda decided to increase the sales of virtus. And slavia is not a great design in the front according to my opinion.

Well said. If you get issues with the car ull definitely get goosebumps. VW has to fix their services before selling the car. Beware of labour cost they will take away everything without work done properly

I bought the Vw Virtus on 23rd july 2022, completed 1700 kms till 2nd august and reported a problem to service centre when i went in for swagat check up that the car is pulling to the left. They tried to solve the problem by exchanging front tyres, got back the car, problem was not solved, reported it back on 6th august. They confessed that the car is new and they don’t have any data for wheel alignment. I was called back on 11th august, i dropped my car and back to back 3 wheel alignments were done with trials, problem was not solved i tried showing the car 3rd party wheel alignment centres and they did not have the data for the car too, until now i had completed 3400 kms, now i had a indistrial vist to ahmedabad, mumbai, pune for which i travelled 2400 kms in my car and i face severe left shoulder pain in my trip for those 10 days, now i dropped my car again and 2 wheel alignments have been done again but the problem has not been solved as i went for the trial, service centre has opened up the disk of the car( which is a technical term of vw service centre to solve the issue via company ) service centre has acknowledged the issue now, but none of have the solution for this. Now as a part of doubt i went and took a test drive of both manual and automatic 1.0 demo cars and both of them were pulling to the left, which was shocking. As a part of doubt now i went to check skoda slavia and noticed that the car has same problem, till now i drove 4 cars and reported the same problem. See i have experience of around 2 lakh kms of driving in last 10 years in which i have driven 80kms on my VW Polo, so i have not faced an issue like this before. One suggestion came in as the road bankings are made on the left side so the car pulls on the left side but them someone suggest to drive the car wrong side on the same road and if car is pulling towards the divider, opposite to the banking, then the issue is serious, i did it. This is a serious issue and i have a tremendous shoulder pain. Writing this to big car channel, so that Vw should recognise this issue. Thank you🙏🏼
