- After seeing the Slavia last year, we finally have the production version and the prices, is it better than Honda City, Hyundai Verna and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is the question that needs to be answered in this video.

I drove the 1.5 ltr, i gotta admit, this gives the vibes of a sports car!! Best in the segment❤
But do 1.5l engine comes to showrooms for test drive? My showroom executive is saying that only 1.0l comes for test drive... And 1.5l only for customers delivery

@@krishchaudhry2222 i went to shworoom today also to show slavia to my MOM... But they were not having 1.5l now also... They said 1.5 comes only on order of delivery... Not for test drives.

True I’m also owning honda city but now i think honda city owners should upgrade to this beast but only the 1.5 one.
1st gear 47, 2nd gear 80+.. City can do 58-59, 100+ and till 150 in third gear but still this 1 litre engine beat City in a drag race 😀
In terms of looks Slavia has hit the ball out of the stadium even comparing with today's Virtus.

excatly just test drove the blue slavia ....road presence and stance is really appealing ...it has wider tires than city and the character lines are much sharper and edgier ......hands down the best looking sedan on the road in this segment ...except maybe the virus gt line

At 17 lakhs .....Skoda should have given led Indicators on front
Yellow indicators give clear vision to driver who is back of us in rain and foggy weather also

Everything's hard plastic in slavia city provides soft touch and has more premium feel and comfort is also better in city the only drawback in city is the infotainment system

Anyday, city stays at the top king for below reasons.
1. Reliability - VTEC.
2. Ride quality - perfect suspension.
3. Premium interior - Leather materials everywhere
4. comfy seats
5. revs >7k rpm - even 1.5 TSI can't rev till this, no segment in this segment does that.
6. Sleekest gear shifts.
city is been there long before you born, other sedan comes today and goes tomorrow..
if you don't agree with these, then you never drove both of these cars.
@unbiased simple man have you ever experienced city MT?, Don't make me laugh, slavia MT doesn't comes any closer to city MT, slavia ride quality is on the downside when compared to city, go and check every comparison, every mileage test shows slavia is worst in mileage when compared with city, and honda city zx has premium interior I am saying this for reasons, go and take a count of leather and wood finish used then you will know, shooo, comon do some research before posting anything, what is better in slavia than honda city is, slavia has more features, powerful engine option, high GC, better infotainment system, that's it, nothing more.. if you can't agree then you're biased with German cars 😂

What does the auto start/stop button do?
1.0 tsi is not better than 1.5 i-VTEC but 1.5 tsi is on another league but price is higher than city
Also, his opinion about driving dynamics is wrong!!! City 5th gen is the better ride and handling car. Slavia is semi suspension and doesn't have great feedack on the steering. City for the win vs the 1.0 ltr. I guess theres no competition for the 1.5 TSI. That being said, i don't think Slavia does justice to that engine with the drive dynamics again.
@@jay2die4 Exactly, According to other youtubers,Slavia doesn't seems a german car like rapid.. Suspension is soft and ground clearance is 179mm resulting poor handling and steering feel and feedback
Talking about City 5th gen, I own one..Despite of having softer suspension setup,City's handling is now the best in segment.. steering weighs up very well at high speeds and gives proper feel and feedback..
