Knowing the artist is very important when reacting imo. Because if you know Hyunsik and how he directs and composes music, you'll know he's very deliberate with how to sing certain lines and even individual words. It is a treat watching him direct his other BTOB members when recording tracks because he is so particular about what technique to use when or where to focus/generate the sound from. He's incredible with various vocal techniques, so most of the feedback pointed out are more likely than not stylistic choices. Also, they don't tire him out...maybe a lesser singer may struggle but Hyunsik and sing and sing. One thing to bare in mind is language. I agree about how he sings the word 'love' but that's because that's his accent when saying that particular word. English is not even his second language as I don't believe he can speak fluently. So just something to think about when non-English speakers sing certain words in English.

Thank you for another btob reaction & thank you who request this. Im hyunsik is a singer-songwriter, he can play any instrument. He studied Pratical Music at Howon University with BTOB groupmate Lee Changsub. They got admitted with a cutthroat 3000:5 ratio at that time. Practical Music program at Howon University is one of the top in the country.
Thank you for reacting! Some may not appreciate bad feedback but I do agree with some of your feedbacks though I believe he did what he did as a choice and as a vibe. He basically made the song in it's entirety (maybe an exaggeration) but he wrote, composed and played the instrument/s on this song and even had a say on the music video because he had a clear vision of what he wants on all the songs he create. He's always been underrated because of his tenor members but he's consistently been bias since the start because of how versatile and talented he is. BTW, he's called BTOB's father of music because he made a lot of their songs - a lot of which have topped the charts. If you guys are not into baritones, you may want to check out the tenors- Seo Eunkwang and Lee Changsub. Eunkwang didn't get much spotlight in their killing voice episode but he's basically one of the best vocalists in kpop 🩵

Just wanted to add BTOB self-produces most of their tracks and during the recording process will often try out many slight variations on the sound until they find the one that feels just rightly balanced for the emotion they are trying to convey. Some of their behind videos have been of their recording sessions, they are pretty fun to watch! With Hyunsik's song the MV story is about two faraway travelers separated across a vast and empty distance (space) and can't reunite so there is a lot of emotional weight that might have shaped Hyunsik's stylistic choices for the song.

I feel like not knowing the context that he intentionally crafts the song to portray a certain feeling severely hurts the quality of the reaction. Most of what is being said is not applicable to what he's actually doing. But I feel like that falls on the person sponsoring the video to provide that context. Them simply saying, "Hey, any nuances you notice are a stylistic choice because this man is OCD with his song composition," would have been enough. I'm glad that by the end you seemed to figure out that it was his intentional choice and not a lack of skill, at least. I had the same issue with the person sponsoring the Killing Voice video not letting you guys know that it actually had to be edited in post, which caused the harmonization parts to seem off. They sing so loud that each of their individual mics picked up the other members' voices. They needed to be further apart. That's why in the Love Poem reaction you guys did, Eunkwang (BTOB member who arranged the song and performance set-up for the trio) had them spaced so far apart.
Btob members do have extraordinary vocal abilities. Because they try all genres, especially classical and opera to musicals. And 2 BtoB members Changsub and Eunkwang are top musical actors in Korea. So they can sing with vocal techniques that other singers don't often use.
