Seungmin, the singer on the right, did exactly as you said. He wasn't satisfied with his vocal capability so he found himself a coach he really liked and basically relearned his technique and honestly he always had a good voice but it's gotten so strong and stable. Both Jongho, the singer on the left, and Seungmin come from groups that can have very active choreography and they have to sing and dance at the same time a lot so their strength, clarity, and breath control is so impressive to me. Eunkwang, the middle guy, is such a legend in this area really. He was able to put together and coordinate the performance so well. This was a competition and both Seungmin and Jongho were some of the youngest members and the solo representatives of their groups and he really helped them shine and guided them well. This comes from a competition called Kingdom where six kpop groups competed against each other, but in this round they divided into dance, rap, and vocal specialties and competed three on three. This performance is probably one of the stand out ones of the entire show, it never fails to effect me emotionally.
Good info for them! Eunkwang was in his thirties and had over a decade experience in the industry and comes from a group renowned for its vocals and ballads; Jongho and Seungmin, both twenty during this competition, come from young, dance-heavy bands. Eunkwang did a fabulous job arranging to showcase their strengths. He was also careful about not... overharmonizing? I can't remember how he put it, but that was what he meant. He wanted to show how well their voices could blend, but show the best of their individual talents. I love Ateez's and Stray Kids's choreo and intense stage presence, and as a rap fan I love rap-heavy music (of which Stray Kids are VERY heavy with), but I was thrilled for these guys to finally be able to showcase their specialties 🥰
I am confused, who's right who's left as they saying 😅. Next time, if making commented or reaction, at least you learn their names first. And in this case, it won't be hard. Only THREE of them. Or you can remember the group their belong : SKZ, BTOB, and Ateez.
Seungmin is a member of a group who are more known as a rap based group and many people underestimate the group in terms of vocals… but Seungmin is really a very good singer - the lack of popularity of vocal based songs by skz (his group) is maybe the reason many ppl underestimate his vocals!! Jongho is tho one of the best 4th gen vocalists out there for sure and Eunkwang… well… he is a legend when it comes to vocals!!
You don't know how happy I am for this video. The guy on the middle arranged that song for the team and he guide his dongsaengs. He is one of a kind. Please react to more BTOB vocals. Out of this world experience.
being a melody for 6 years now i firmly believe eunkwang likes to be dramatic when he's singing, such as the jaw movements you commented, i've even seen him put his hand on his chest like he's about to die lol since he sings very emotional songs, he sings with his whole body. he is one of the best vocalists in the history of kpop :) and his group (btob) is known for the best vocals
Eunkwang's not using a crutch. He's just dramatic. Theatre kid DNA. Ditto with the visible tension. He's so good, so experienced, so skilled, that he's now at that stage where he _consciously_ adds stuff like that BACK IN for sh1ts and giggles because it makes his dramatic little soul happy. They're not bad habits or crutches, but stylistic things that he's perfectly capable of functioning without (Eunkwang is a master; he could practically sing all three parts of this song, by himself, in his sleep and underwater while juggling rattlesnakes). He adds these things as personal flavor because he's so good that they don't negatively affect him or cost him anything, but rather just let him have more fun.
THIS!! I wanted to comment this so bad😂 Vocal coaches know a lot as it’s their job obviously, but not everything they say will be true (relating to crutches, bad habits, etc.) especially when they’re just reacting to singers because they don’t know the singers or their personalities. Eungkwan’s personality plays such a big role in his little gestures and expressions because he’s such an animated person even when he doesn’t sing. Drama kid through and through😂 Also Seungmin and Jongho are normally pretty calm people (they have their moments😅) so that is also reflected when they sing ballads like this where they don’t have to dance their insane choreographies while singing
Yes. I was hoping for this comment. Our Eunkwang doesn't do easy and regular, his tension is his trademark he wants not only to sound beautiful but add to the performance. His singing draws you in immediately.
man i wish i could see them live😭 i might have almost gone to see them in paris but then i figured that the train journey, hotel and everything around it would've been too much in addition to the ticket. but ohhh i turned it over in my head for like 10 days and i'm so sad i can't go
@@musicmirj that’s such a bummer! I really hope you do get to see them soon though, it was genuinely an insane experience coz like, I went in with ateez not even being an ult group of mine but came out with them being in my top 3!! I’m still reeling, I SO SO SO HOPE YOU GET THE EXPERIENCE TOO❤️
@@eleanorcarling5528 no way I was there too!!😭😭It was actually incredible, I’m woosan biased but every single time I heard or saw jongho I almost flew out of my seat he is literally one of the best vocalists I have ever come across, what a legend!
The guy in the middle is from BTOB, he directed the vocals! As soon as they gave him the song and team members he knew whos gona sing what and how (as he said) and if you notice that's why the guys in the front sides look for him and he points at them when their parts come. He is the sunbae and didn't give himself the spotlight but helped them (as this video is from a competition between groups), for me this is one of the best vocal moments from the juniors, it's not just the performance being amazing but the work behind. You might want to react to It's Okay by BTOB, beautiful song ^^
19:01 -- I agree, Eunkwang (the guy in the middle) is putting an effort to control his voice as to (as i believe) not overpower Seungmin and Jongho. He normally sings in a different way and may I say in a much relaxed way when he is with his own group (BTOB). He made the line distribution of this song, and helped with the arrangement, so he considered the vocal range of the two, taking note where are they more comfortable in terms of their range and he adjusted his own voice based on that. :) Such a sweet and considerate "sunbae" / senior this man really is :) It would be nice if you can react to some of Eunkwang's solo performances and those with BTOB --- you will have your ears blessed ☺
In fact, the vocalist in the middle is someone who has the ability to sing more comfortably than anyone else. (But he certainly has the habits mentioned) But he seems to value emotions when performing. From my point of view, as a native Korean, the lyrics of this song sound a bit more appealing than a relaxed-looking face, and the singer conveys the lyrics the best while singing with a sad and tensed expression but with slightly smile.
I agree 100%. I think sometimes, we need to look past habits if they are not technical ones that get in the way of healthy vocal work. A habit or tick like strange facial expressions or overly expressive mannerisms when singing isn't nearly as harmful as a habit formed from the chords. I could name a few off the top of my head who have peculiar facial-vocal habits leading back to 2nd gen but when you understand it's just the way they are and a habit that doesn't take too much from their sound and delivery, it doesn't change the fact that they possess incredible vocal control and are highly skilled singers in the industry. We can at least give credit where credit is due, Eunkwang is phenomenal. And not just Eunkwang, BTOB in its entirety! Their level of musicality and harmonies are just superb. Where have the days gone 😢
@@thaodalena Thank you to both of you! I agree. I've learned a lot watching videos like this, but also by the comments. And one thing I've learned about myself is that I prefer the tics/habits/facial expressions, I even don't mind occasional straining as long as it sounds good to my ear and the performance affects me emotionally. I prefer the storytelling and emotions over the "relaxed" sound. Not that it's wrong with preferring the other, but that's my stand in this. Thinking about it, Eunkwang not having these facial expression is just not Eunkwang. Having tics etc doesn't necessary bring anything technically but also doesn't necessarily take away anything either. Although they maybe brought it up to say just that, but it sounded like they didn't like it. I personally see tics, habits and facial expressions as artistic expressions, ads to the emotions and storytelling. Anyway, I'm not technically competent enough to know exactly what I'm talking about here but Eunkwang not being praised for being one of the best vocalists in kpop, doesn't sit right with me. This is the reason Melodies are always screaming of BTOB having the best vocal- line in kpop, people see this and be like "maybe they aren't" idk. :/
This performance is in my top 3 performances of Kingdom. Seungmin (guy on the right, Stray Kids) has beautiful tone and Jongho (guy on the left, Ateez) is just insane. The middle guy, Eungkwan (BTOB, is the so talented. He directed the vocals and did such a good job! Please, watch "I'll be your man" by Stray Kids (on Kingdom). It's also one of my top 3 performances from Kingdom. Note that the guy (Han) who sings second (after Seungmin) is one of their main rappers. All the other groups were amazed by him and kept on saying "isn't he a rapper?" haha, it's amazing!
Yess, the Stray Kids I'll Be Your Man performance is amazing 🙌🏼 Han's vocals are so good even though he's the main rapper! Him and Seungmin together on the chorus is just beautiful 🤗
@@sandystays0325 i get goosebumps every time. They all did an amazing job in that performance. Still can't understand how they ranked last with this cover.
@@michaelaroskova4793 Same! It's one of my favorite Kingdom performances! I was also surprised by the ranking but everyone in this show was so good, so it was probably hard 👀
@@michaelaroskova4793 Yeah, I would like to know how they evaluated. I think in general they ranked high energy performances better than vocal performances 🤔 And the professionals were probably a mix of vocalists, dancers etc., so everyone's focus was different but idk 👀
The middle person is Eunkwang and he is from the group BTOB, whose main music are ballads, and the group has other amazing vocalists too. BTOB has been in the industry for 10+ years now and Eunkwang is also a well received musical actor. Eunkwang was the one who did the arrangement for this song (originally sung by a female singer called IU). Seungmin (right) sang in the original key, Jongho (left) sang in the higher key and Eunkwang in the lower key. If it feels like Seungmin and Jongho stood out more, its because Eunkwang made it so that they, his juniors, would shine. The "jaw tendencies" maybe attributed to his musical background, maybe? Hope you would check more of BTOB in the future (or someone could request it).
Ditto, watched this performance so many times, it moved some of the other contestants in the competition to tears, was hoping this was the version that was being reviewed!
Eunkwang of BTOB (middle) arranged their parts in this song based on what he observed when they sang during their practice! He let Jongho (left) do the higher range and Seungmin (right) do the normal range. Knowing Eunkwang as the main vocalist (and can hit soprano!) he placed himself in the lowest range in this song! Their voices melt perfectly together thanks to Eunkwang since his group BTOB is theeee beeeeeest in harmony istg 🥲🤞🏼
@@user-vt2vf8hb3p Actually they switched around a lot between who has the lowest harmony, highest harmony and the melody, just what BTOB are experts on. Seungmin also takes the highest harmony, but I believe he does take the lowest mostly.
Seungmin from stray kids is one of my favorite singers. Stray kids also are so talented. I recommend you the first take - scars by stray kids. They have also more songs but that’s my personal fav. The first take is a Japanese TH-cam channel where many artists record their songs in one take. You can clearly hear the voices and see their technique when singing. Thanks for this reaction 😍
Yes! This means you can discover BTOB, who in my opinion, have the best vocal line in Kpop. In all seriousness, they are phenomenal. I would HIGHLY recommend you checking them out.
BTOB's Eunkwang is one of the best vocalists in the Korean music industry. Not only in kpop, he has appeared in many musicals and music shows. He is the main vocalist in a kpop group called BTOB. Hope you would check out more BTOB
No one was clapping because they filmed this during the pandemic so they weren’t allowed to have an audience it’s really sad because this deserves an standing ovation. Than you for reacting to this I learn so much watching your videos. You guys are great.
OMG Literally every day, Seungmin's voice is a discovery for me, every time his vocals open up from a completely different side, I just will never stop being amazed and admired. How masterfully, beautifully and skillfully he owns his voice, his amazing stability and most importantly, the strength, power and range of diversity of his vocals. Seungmin from the "angelic voice" turned into a real diamond not only for STRAY KIDS but for the entire K-POP industry as a whole.
i went to an ateez concert three days ago and my god jongho left me speechless. he is SUCH A GOOD SINGER. definitely the best vocalist i've seen live so far. he's incredible.
jongho (the guy on the left) is absolutely amazing. he is amazing listening to live as well. gonna see him (and the group he's apart of course - ateez) live in 2 days. I can't wait!!
Eunkwang (the middle) is from a group called btob. Its a group that’s well known for their beautiful vocals, live singing, and ballad songs. Please check them out!😊
There something about Seungmin (the guy on the right) I love his tone and how smooth he sounds it’s different but not in a bad way , his solo parts are just amazing
This is a great performance. The left one is our Ateez maknae Jongho. He is being sought after again and again to do Osts. He actually did Gravity from the very popular Korean drama Reborn Rich. He's just did another. We are so proud of him. Coming from a smaller Korean label, it's hard to get noticed but he and Ateez are like a beacon in kpop. Thank you for the react.
Eunkwang from BTOB (pronounced bee-too-bee), a 10-year idol, did the vocal arrangement of this song to fit their voices. That is why you can see him guiding the younger boys from the middle. He knows that because those two don’t get a lot of chances to showcase their vocal skills. Eunkwang is also a musical actor in Korea, just finished acting as Judas in Jesus Christ superstar. Please check out BTOB, vocal kings of K-pop. 😊
Jongho, the singer on the left, is amazinggg!! Our Ateez & atiny's pride and joy ❤❤ thank you for the great analysis and reaction to these beautiful singers🙏🙏
Jongho from ATEEZ is such an amazing singer! Truly a legend in the making. He does several covers and has released songs like “Gravity” that was the main song for the Kdrama Reborn Rich. I’ve even heard ATEEZ live and hearing Jongho’s voice in a 20K capacity arena is life changing. Please react to ATEEZ’s live performances and their MVs. They’re in my opinion one of the best groups to see live.
From what I've seen, Eungkwang (the gentleman in the middle) can be quite an emotional singer. He's cried on stage several times, and this song is a very tender one with plenty of meaning. I wonder if his tendency to shift his jaw could be a way to mediate the emotional response he gets from his own singing, more of a tension release so that he doesn't choke up and muddle the tone. It's just a theory though. He's very well trained vocally, is a musical actor and has 10 years experience on stage (and more, probably) so I have no doubt he is aware of and working on his own flaws. 💙
thank you so much for this wonderful reaction/analysis to this cover. Eunkwang, the one in the middle, is one of the vocalists in BTOB (bee-tu-bee). he's an amazing singer and a theater actor! hoping you'd also check out his group cuz they are really talented!! lots of love from the PH ❤️
Left- Jongho from Ateez Middle- Eungkwang from Btob Right- Seungmin from Stray Kids Btob is a group that really good at singing… they really have best discography but Ateez and Skz also have a great song.. and I want to recommended shinee-dear name live.. it was so beautiful to hear it…
Jongho(left) is your man. You really should take a listen to him, he is amazing. He has so much control over his voice he is doing miracles during concerts! Please listen to more songs of him🥺🙏❤
Jongho the one in the left is a great vocal he literally can sing for three hours while dancing and his voice will sound the same you should react to more of him because his voice literally makes me cry sometimes
Thank you so much for the reaction 🤗 I really love this performance and all of their voices! Jongho and Seungmin each also have been on the show Lee Mujin Service (singing show), you should check it out 😁 And BTOB in general is known for their great vocals! Hope to see more of them on your channel 😊
Jongho (left) is super talented! He actually switches his head and chest voice really easily and has amazing techniques. He was taught by one of the best vocal teachers in Korea :) he also has a really wide range. Please react to some of his live vids. Hes amazing! Definitely one of the best singers in the industry
here's the thing about BTOB (the guy in the middle is Eunkwang from BTOB)..Once you've seen a vid with one of their member or the group. You'll go through a binge of them :)
I think BTOB Eunkwang is perfect in all aspect technicality wise 💙 and BTW, he arranged the song and distributed the parts in a way that all of their colors will show!😊
Jongho the one who did the high notes i don't know if he is on the right or the left for u guys 😂 he is incredible but even tho i really think he was holding back in this one because he is just mind-blowing him in lee mu jin services as a lot says is a must to hear and his cover i will leave the link because the title is in Korean th-cam.com/video/1dy2M3HZ294/w-d-xo.html And this one th-cam.com/video/lLg5-gvAorQ/w-d-xo.html Thank u guys for this video hope to see more of jongho here 🥰
Actually eunkwang is the best vocalist in kpop (known for it not only my words) and btob is known for their vocals best vocal boy group in kpop. As a fan of them for so long i think eunkwang usually sings very sofly and not pushing anything but i think he intented to push this time because he wanted to portray some emotions (big acted emotions is kinda his thing lol) he is also a musical actor too. Btob is quite someting i recommend them very much
Wish we could have more of these main vocal collaborations, but I am so happy that you were able to react to this one. Jongho (left) is from my favorite group, ATEEZ. Thank you for pausing and breaking down his vocals. It made my little ATINY (name of ATEEZ fan group) heart so happy. Motion and Direction!
BTOB is actually pronounced as beeeee-2-beeeeeee. Eunkwang is a musical actor maybe thats why he exaggerates a bit when singing(?) does he have to?no. but he has the voice to back it up. He is also the winner of immortal songs King of Kings episode with Kim Kitae. 1000000% recommend to everyone. Trust and listen to vocal kings BTOB.
Jongho (the guy on the left) tgt with other few members of his grp (ateez) had a collab with pentatonix (a little space). Pentatonix actually reached out to them for the collab! They are really good!
I don't know about other things but I love the middle one, the way he singing, his expression and his voice. His expression is the best, like I can felt the meaning the song the way he singing. I really love and appreciate the way he conveyed his emotion in this performance, i really thought that he was actually about cryyyyy...
I was waiting for this time that you two will react to this video 😭 I'm really proud how amazing they are, especially our baby Jongho (ATEEZ) he's just talented to the point that we as a fan is still shock everytime he sing ☺️ Thank you for reacting 🙌
This was the best performance on kingdom in my opinion. Eunkwang (middle) did an incredible job arranging the song, and really helped Jongho (left) and Seungmin (right) showcase their vocals. I was especially impressed with Seungmin since before his vocals had just kinda been average to me as far as main vocals go, possibly due to the nature of Stray Kids music. I do think part of Eunkwangs jaw thing is just him over emoting a little. He is a musical actor, and just tends to be a little extra anyway lmao. You should definitely check out his group btob though! All of their vocalists are main vocal level beasts!
You must listen to the Lee Mujin show with Seugmin (the right singer) it makes you cry!! Of course, the three of them have such beautiful, incredible voices, but as a Seugmin´s fan, his voice moves my soul in a way that I can´t explain. He not only sings, but he also expresses feelings that you can relate to, that´s why it goes straight to your heart!!
If you want to hear more vocals from Jongho and his ATEEZ members then I recommend the following lives: Turbulence: th-cam.com/video/BycpPeGWM-c/w-d-xo.html Thank U: th-cam.com/video/rZidG-yfzps/w-d-xo.html Promise: th-cam.com/video/TTGd-WiaAkM/w-d-xo.html Fever: th-cam.com/video/6P3-HBTXKPY/w-d-xo.html I have seen them live in concert and he's just outstanding.
Eunkwang is compensating his vocal range for both his Junior. He sings way lower than what he used to. Watch him In Immortal Song 2 (The Man) or (Fate) with Kim Ki Tae.
The guy in the middle is Seo Eunkwang, the leader from the group BTOB. He is the one who made the arrangements for this performance. He is a musical actor as well and BTOB has been in the industry for 11 years from the year of their debut (not counting their trainee years). BTOB is one the of most known male groups for their vocals and known for their ballad songs. Eunkwang has very incredible vocals that is probably not fully shown in this performance and prob made the arrangement in such a way to let the other 2 of his juniors shine more in this song. :)
Kim Seungmin from StrayKids is an Amazing Singer..! He is One of my Favorite Singer in Kpop.! His Vocals are just Top Notch.! Although I am a Classical Singer but I can definitely tell that His Voice has the Ability to Capture anyone's Heart. He deserves to be the Main Vocalist of StrayKids. Now as a Stay, Han's High Notes ( Main Rapper of StrayKids though) , LeeKnow's Falsettos , I.N's (Main Vocalist as well) , Felix's (Vocal Range is just Mind Blowing)(E.g His Single "Deep End" highly Recommended!) , Hyunjin's (Soothing Voice), Changbin's( His Proved that he can be a Main Vocalist as well in the "Masked Singer" Korean Show) And Leader BangChan's Voices are Just My Favorite!! These Voices Just Melts my Heart!
YES I've been waiting for you to be exposed to Jongho's heavenly vocals (the guy on the left)! I highly highly highly recommend listening to his live covers on "Lee Mujin Service" of Don't Go Today, Another You, and Ocean Waves. The third one also features Lee Mujin, who is another great vocalist. Jongho's technique in these covers is super interesting.
Eunkwang (BTOB) the guy in the middle, arranged the song to make his hoobaes (juniors) have the spotlight so this song by no means showcases his true talent. He's also actively pulling back because he could easily out-sing them in terms of technique, range and volume. If you watch the video where they were rehearsing this song, Eunkwang really guided Seungmin (Stray Kids) and Jongho (Ateez). I really appreciated Eunkwang's efforts here because he made Jongho and Seungmin shine, and this song was so meaningful to both of them because they don't get to sing these types of songs with their respective groups.
You might be interested in BTOB. They're full of power vocals 💪🏻. Probably one of the most stable group in terms of vocals. ♥️ Esp. Eunkwang at the center, must watch his singing in immortal songs. 👌🏻🎶🎶
Eunkwang is dramatic, it’s his charm. You have to know him to be able to appreciate. He’s a great singer. Not everyone can be as dramatic and get away with it, but I think he can. Seungmin though, he’s got a unique beautiful voice. He’s my fave.
At 23:58 you guys were talking about not seeing any tension so I would recommend you guys watch his video of Jongho (left) breaking apples while singing Also this video has given me a whole new appreciation for seungmins vocals
The fact that Jongho (left) was so nervous for this song he forgot some lyrics and had to improvise but still sounded that rounded and amazing at age 20?? Crazy.
Thank you for reacting to this Kingdom version of Love Poem..it's really one of the best performances there. Love your reaction and lessons from a technical/professional point of view..I learned a lot. When 3 groups had to form a dance unit, rap unit & vocal unit..these 3 were the representatives of each group that formed the vocal unit. And all 3 are amazing singers though the other guys (left is Jongho from Ateez & right is Seungmin from Stray Kids) are much younger then the one at the middle. And these 2 are from groups that are much rap and dance heavy. The one at the middle is Eunkwang from BTOB which is a 10 yr old group known for their heartfelt ballads and amazing harmonies. He is the leader of the group and known to be one of the best vocalists in kpop. When they decided to perform Love Poem which is originally by IU..he knew he had to make those 2 younger ones shine and showcase how good their vocals are which are not that shown with their groups' dance heavy songs. So this middle guy was the one who made the line distribution, the harmonization & arrangement of the song..true enough..even the co- members of those younger two were amazed at how their member sounded in this performance coz they rarely see them perform like this. Eunkwang being the leader of BTOB, also acted as a mentor/older bro to these two during their rehearsals and you can see him guiding them during the actual performance. Their different voice and style just sounded so good and heavenly. Eunkwang is a good singer..you should watch him win 4 times already in Immortal Songs..he has an amazing voice and he uses a lot of head voice and falsetto beautifully. Hope you could try reacting to his Immortal Songs performance of THAT MAN (solo) and FATE (duet w/ Kim Kitae)..just so goooood. Also, please try reacting to his group/ BTOB's immortal songs performances too..something that really proves they are much more than just kpop. Pls react to BTOB's performance of TO MY LOVE and UNDER THE SKY. Thank you so much. Hope you could give my recommendations a chance..again, thank you.
Right: Kim Seungmin (Stray Kids), he debuted officially in 2018 and was 20 years old here Middle: Seo Eunkwang (BTOB), he debuted officially in 2012 and was 30 years old here Left: Choi Jongho (ATEEZ), he debuted officially in 2018 and was 20 years old here
They all are such good singers,The one on left is Jongho,he is such a good vocalist,he vocal range is so good and his stability on stage is amazing, please check more from him❤️
It always fills me with so much pride when i see people reacting to this performance, specially people who know about these things! Jongho (guy to the left, from Ateez) is only 22 y/o (20 at the time of this performance!) and is already one of the best vocalist in kpop. Despite coming from a group who is known for their incredibly high-energy performances, he stills manages to be incredibly stable, so much that he's received praised for messing up a note in one of his performances bc "that way people would know that he's human" lol
I love how the coments explained already about Eunkawgie, BTOB is pronunced B-to-B and they have one of the most awesome vocal line, you can watch BTOB-Blue performances
After this performance Seungmin became my ultimate Bias. This performance is legendary, i literally teared up when I first watched it. Their vocal, Lyrics and emotions blended all So perfectly. Thank you for reacting. 💖
ATEEZ’s Jongho (on the left) has AMAZING vocals, it’s so satisfying to hear him, he sings on multiple live shows and has plenty of osts that he has sung! 💙 Hope you react to him and the group he is in, ATEEZ
To whomever sponsored this video I thank you immensely. It was refreshing to see masters of voice watch Jongho (the one on the left) in action. He’s gifted as you well saw. I loved the harmony/melody exchange they all did too. It was arranged by the center guy from BTOB whose mother I believe sang opera? I might be wrong about that. But Jongho studied the SLS method by Seth Riggs and really learned how to hone his craft. I loved your reaction! I hope you do more of Jongho’s technique from other videos - like his head to chest voice Olympics and his fluid runs. He’s a hidden gem and I’m glad you found him❤
I'm glad you two discoved these talented singer... Guy in the middle is the leader for group BTOB.. And BTOB is known as vocal king.. They're ballad king.. Pls check em out too 🥰🥰
Omg I saw this and got so excited . This is one of my favorite K-pop vocalist performances of all time!! I hope you check out more of these groups. BtoB has some huge vocals and Jongo is bonkers. Stray Kids also has such a unique sound .
The middle guy is part of a group called BTOB. In my opinion, BTOB has the best vocals in Kpop. In terms of voices and techniques they are certainly the best!! Please react to BTOB
Jongho (left) is the main vocalist of his group ATEEZ and is one of the best vocalists in Kpop, because he has a great technique and amazing voice, he really knows about singing because he has had excellent teachers and he likes ballads a lot, he has a lot of covers and songs that proves how versatile is his voice, please react more to Jongho please❤️🤗
love this! the honest review, comments & tips, sometimes us amateurs just follow everything the singers does without knowing it's good or bad, also so proud of jongho!!
The left one is jongho. his vocal ability is versatile, his range vocal is wide, and he can control his stability like he's one of the best vocalist in term of technique
Seungmin, the singer on the right, did exactly as you said. He wasn't satisfied with his vocal capability so he found himself a coach he really liked and basically relearned his technique and honestly he always had a good voice but it's gotten so strong and stable. I actually thought seungmin was referred to as the guy on the left😅
Thank you for this thorough explanation.
@@anita4434 we can just refer to him as "the guy in the building" instead 🙂
Them loving Jongho (the guy on the left) is EVERYTHING.
He's the main vocalist of ATEEZ. You guys need to check out their group.
jongho on the left !
jongho was definitely the left 😭
Our Vocal King, Choi Jongho. We are very proud of him
omg I spotted a zqatiny
yes they should react to san's cover " breathe"
You don't know how happy I am for this video. The guy on the middle arranged that song for the team and he guide his dongsaengs. He is one of a kind. Please react to more BTOB vocals. Out of this world experience.

Up!
Yes btob vocal king 👍🏼
Also, just to clarify to Chase and Melia, it's read as "B to B" it's short for "Born to beat", not B.T.O.B 😁😁
being a melody for 6 years now i firmly believe eunkwang likes to be dramatic when he's singing, such as the jaw movements you commented, i've even seen him put his hand on his chest like he's about to die lol since he sings very emotional songs, he sings with his whole body. he is one of the best vocalists in the history of kpop :) and his group (btob) is known for the best vocals
FACTS ! :D ♥♥
Love it😄💕
I think its due to him also being a musical actor so hes used to act out his singing.
I laughed but it's true

Jongho be hitting them notes even after jumping all over the stage I’m so excited to see ateez in concert soon🥹
man i wish i could see them live😭 i might have almost gone to see them in paris but then i figured that the train journey, hotel and everything around it would've been too much in addition to the ticket. but ohhh i turned it over in my head for like 10 days and i'm so sad i can't go
@@musicmirj that’s such a bummer! I really hope you do get to see them soon though, it was genuinely an insane experience coz like, I went in with ateez not even being an ult group of mine but came out with them being in my top 3!! I’m still reeling, I SO SO SO HOPE YOU GET THE EXPERIENCE TOO❤️
it’s actually crazy how good he is in person, I just saw ateez in London and I was so taken away by his vocals, they’re completely unmatched IMO
@@eleanorcarling5528 no way I was there too!!😭😭It was actually incredible, I’m woosan biased but every single time I heard or saw jongho I almost flew out of my seat he is literally one of the best vocalists I have ever come across, what a legend!
@@kookyeomist honestly, his voice really is something else
The guy in the middle is from BTOB, he directed the vocals!
As soon as they gave him the song and team members he knew whos gona sing what and how (as he said) and if you notice that's why the guys in the front sides look for him and he points at them when their parts come.
He is the sunbae and didn't give himself the spotlight but helped them (as this video is from a competition between groups), for me this is one of the best vocal moments from the juniors, it's not just the performance being amazing but the work behind.
You might want to react to It's Okay by BTOB, beautiful song ^^
This!
:) Such a sweet and considerate "sunbae" / senior this man really is :)
It would be nice if you can react to some of Eunkwang's solo performances and those with BTOB --- you will have your ears blessed ☺
They have never seen a single BTOB video, and it shows. I can see how low the standards are.
THIS!!
@@hoppipollaedits5116they're vocal coaches bffr
Agree with you @shtan pan
Agree. The singing is more beautiful when it conveys the songs emotion. Sometimes that requires acting out the feelings.
I love Seungmin so much, he is such a beautiful singer
He is the best for me
Same, his voice tone is so warm!
@@sandystays0325 yeah every group did a great job. I would just like to know about those "professionals" that ranked them👀
@@michaelaroskova4793 Yeah, I would like to know how they evaluated.
I feel like they thought Eunkwang vocals were amazing. They just didn'tpeople
I associate his "jaw tendencies" with his musical theater background too. 🥰
To the person who sponsored this video i love you 😭❤️
love you too 🫶 ps: naruto's my all-time favourite anime so i REALLY love you lmao
@@clearlythuydoan 😂united by anime and kpop, we are the best

Ditto, watched this performance so many times, it moved some of the other contestants in the competition to tears, was hoping this was the version that was being reviewed!
Eunkwang of BTOB (middle) arranged their parts in this song based on what he observed when they sang during their practice!
He let Jongho (left) do the higher range and Seungmin (right) do the normal range. Knowing Eunkwang as the main vocalist (and can hit soprano!) he placed himself in the lowest range in this song!
Their voices melt perfectly together thanks to Eunkwang since his group BTOB is theeee beeeeeest in harmony istg 🥲🤞🏼
seungmin and eunkwang should be switched. seungmin did most of the lower registers in the song/harmonizing. his only normal range were his solo parts
@@user-vt2vf8hb3p Actually they switched around a lot between who has the lowest harmony, highest harmony and the melody, just what BTOB are experts on. Seungmin also takes the highest harmony, but I believe he does take the lowest mostly.
@@shtapan5454 yeah
agree, just hope melie and chase recognized eukwang :(
Jongho from Ateez ( on the left) is such an amazing singer and he is only 22 🙌🔥
Seungmin from stray kids is one of my favorite singers.
Jongho at Lee Mujin Service is a must now 🥰 he is one of the best kpop vocalist this generation

Seungmin as well please He did Lee mujin service too!!💕

Jongho's vocal tone and vocal technique is just outstanding!
Jongho from Ateez is a phenomenal vocalist he's one of my favorite singers in kpop
Seungmin is indeed amazing
Sounds like violin for me, I love that
JOngho!! ATEEZ is amazing!! Great vocals from the group. I hope you get to check them out. "Be with you" Turbulence are good vocal songs.
Damn, I've been in kpop 10 years and I did not know that is how it's pronounced .
he always sing like he's about to die so it is really making most out of his facial muscles to convey the sincerest emotions...
All three of them are so amazing. Jongho is so talented, and seungmin my beloved. I just love the way he sings so much
thank you so much for this wonderful reaction/analysis to this cover.
Eunkwang, the one in the middle, is one of the vocalists in BTOB (bee-tu-bee). he's an amazing singer and a theater actor! hoping you'd also check out his group cuz they are really talented!! lots of love from the PH ❤️
Left- Jongho from Ateez
Middle- Eungkwang from Btob

here's the thing about BTOB (the guy in the middle is Eunkwang from BTOB)..Once you've seen a vid with one of their member or the group. You'll go through a binge of them :)
The Jongho(guy on the left) praise in the video by trained Voice Teachers in the video and people in the comments makes me so proud.
I think BTOB Eunkwang is perfect in all aspect technicality wise 💙 and BTW, he arranged the song and distributed the parts in a way that all of their colors will show!😊

Thanks so much for appreciating Jongho's (left guy) voice! ATEEZ is full of amazing vocalists if you ever want to check them out :)

This is one of my favorite parts from Kingdom. The one of the left is Jongho from Ateez. He has such a beautiful voice.
Eunkwang is compensating his vocal range for both his Junior.
He sings way lower than what he used to.
Watch him In Immortal Song 2 (The Man) or (Fate) with Kim Ki Tae.
I second that 👍. In my opinion, Eunkwang is the best vocalist in Kpop and the most humble.
I just wanna say that btob eunkwang, the guy in the middle acted in excalibur with seventeen dk. They both acted as king arthur.
"Love poem" is one of the IU's songs. She's a great singer too and also she have a killing voice video.
At 23:58 you guys were talking about not seeing any tension so I would recommend you guys watch his video of Jongho (left) breaking apples while singing
Also this video has given me a whole new appreciation for seungmins vocals
Are you saying jongho has tension in the apple videos or…?
I love the Jongho appreciation 🥹🥹
The fact that Jongho (left) was so nervous for this song he forgot some lyrics and had to improvise but still sounded that rounded and amazing at age 20?? Crazy.
Oh you definitely have to check out more of Jongho's (left guy) performances! He went viral for his amazing vocal performance even before he debuted!

A great time to do deeper dive into BTOB. Eunkwang is the main vocalist but they can all singggggg
Jongho is really a great singer when I listen to him I feel like I want to cry 😭❤️✨I advise you to watch more videos of him
Jongho is amazing!! I need to re-watch Ateez’s stages again 😁🥰
Right: Kim Seungmin (Stray Kids), he debuted officially in 2018 and was 20 years old here
Middle: Seo Eunkwang (BTOB), he debuted officially in 2012 and was 30 years old here
Left: Choi Jongho (ATEEZ), he debuted officially in 2018 and was 20 years old here
They all are such good singers,The one on left is Jongho,he is such a good vocalist,he vocal range is so good and his stability on stage is amazing, please check more from him❤️
It always fills me with so much pride when i see people reacting to this performance, specially people who know about these things!
Jongho is one of the best singers I have ever heard. I was blown away by his recent OST Gravity
Yesterday i just imagined you guys reacting to BTOB, and now you're reacting to one of the BTOB members.. wow..
The middle guy is part of a group called BTOB. In my opinion, BTOB has the best vocals in Kpop. In terms of voices and techniques they are certainly the best!! Please react to BTOB
i just love Eunkwang. loooved that you guys reacted to this, def a highlight of kingdom
Jongho (left) is the main vocalist of his group ATEEZ and is one of the best vocalists in Kpop, because he has a great technique and amazing voice, he really knows about singing because he has had excellent teachers and he likes ballads a lot, he has a lot of covers and songs that proves how versatile is his voice, please react more to Jongho please❤️🤗

also so proud of jongho!!

The left one is jongho. his vocal ability is versatile, his range vocal is wide, and he can control his stability like he's one of the best vocalist in term of technique
