I junked the truck. The prices to replace these terrible engines are unreal, and they will just keep failing. The only good option is an LS swap for sure.
you ruined the engine you put to much pressure on the throttle body case, which caused a evap leak. atlas engine cant handle strain or stress well hints why the engines suck.
Mine has 320K and they are good engines, if you neglect oil and coolant any engine will die.
That's insane!! They are not good engines, but some people get lucky. There is a very good reason they were discontinued.
Do you have anymore videos on Colorado's or Canyon's?
No, i scrapped this one. The engines are too expensive to repair, and swapping a different engine also costs too much to be worth it
@@TheGaginator Oh. Wow. That's too bad.
If the guy was giving it away instead of paying you back, it was a neglected truck that wasn't cared for and maintenance was obviously neglected.
100%!
Valve cover removal.....remove all screws in order to remove cover...or the intake manifold and screws will not allow cover removal...
good point
What did you end up doing? New Engine?

@@TheGaginator I guess that you don't really fix everything.
@@luigiprovencher8888....I will give a 10 out of 10 on the comment for being a smart ass. Fantastic work.
@@TheGaginatorgod dammit I didn’t wanna hear that lmao
Me neither but I have the 2.9

This engine was trash before that.
