- Homelite weed eater was said to not run so first things first fuel system. Video shows how to replace the fuel line and the primer bulb. On this weed eater there was more to the problem as the carburetor had and air leak which I will cover in part two the replacement of the carburetor.
You are as calm as a cucumber. I'm always mad as heck when working on equipment which doesn't help anything. Gonna try to emulate your attitude.

This is a SUPER relevant and informative video! I subscribed to your channel just because of how methodical your approach is. I am working on my Dad’s weed cutter now. Ordered a new carb on eBay- had a difficult time getting the exact one. The stock is a Zama carb, not sure if the one I ordered will work because it is so cheap. Used a cheap one from amazon which worked for awhile (ran strongly but died after 15 min of use). Thank you so much for the video
Most times you get what you pay for.
Just stopping by with full view to continue with my support. I find that these fuel lines last 2 to 3 years then best to change even if they are still working to prevent a no start when it is the most inconvenient time. On the carb there is a small screen the diameter of a pencil eraser that I find clogged most of the time on a no start as well.

The screen may have been the exact problem will check that one next time.

It will run if you clean all the passages in the carburetor , I have two of these machine and once a year especially after they sat for a while the gas will gum up in side , Take the carb apart , spray carburetor cleaner through all the passages , and change the fuel line too . keep it running . start these machine once or twice a month .One more thing , Adjust to a high idle and then back it down to where the spool is just start to spin without hitting the trigger .

What about the other fuel line without the filter how far does that go down in the tank?
Don't it just pi$$ ya off when that happens. Just did new lines and primer bulb on mine today. Starts good but the minute you hit the throttle it quits. I got ****ed off and ordered a new carb. Got the Homelite UT32605. We'll see what happens in the morning when I change the carb. LOL
How do you access the primer bulb screws? The fuel tank is in the way on mine.
you put the filter in bass-ackwards... lube the hard plastic tube on the filter and slide it into the fuel tube and then pull the fuel tube into the tank and snip and attach to the carb...
What size fuel lines are you using?
Do you know how to adjust the carburetor on that one you working on
You can adjust the idle up are down by turning the screw that stops the throttle linkage.

I just did it go to Amazon order carb, fuel lines filter and bulb kit for your model. The kit is generic but it will work! I have homelite HLT-18 found it in the trash lol
frankly I cant believe u went to all the trouble of making this and didnt bother to,watch it before posting. the diaphragm part was was off screen so pretty much useless.
Your music is at the right volume but your talking is way too low and I've learned not to turn up the volume because then the ads are all stupid loud... so, I'll find another video, thanks anyways.
