Watching Olympics years ago, a reporter asked a bronze medal swimmer how disappointed she was. She explained it was an honor to make the team and win a medal competing against the best in the world . The reporter could not end the interview fast enough.
First, damn she's beuitiful and second, this is interesting on perspective. It makes sense. If you come in third place, you don't really think, dang I was so close to getting second! You're happy to have gotten a metal, but in second, you have to think about how close you were to getting first! hahaha. We have to remember though, in all things in life, we shouldn't require a metal, to seek to achieve the best we can be. Competitive mindset should be an engorgement force, not a force we seek to out due one another.
We saw this a few years back. This is the exact narrative used to explain what happened bc the Silver Medalist became a meme based on her facial expression on the podium. 🏅
In public school, there was only one girl that had better grades than me, but because I knew her brother, I found out that the mother enforced a daily "two hour study hall" on all the kids and I wasn't willing to spend two hours studying when I already knew the material that the TV wouldn't watch itself.
Aspirations without potential is the biggest enemy for loyal dreamers. Those aspirers always remain happy with the bronze medal and motivate Silver Medalist to maintain the performance.😂
Aloha hugs 🤗 I have had a marvelous life with rather unique challenges. I do understand I will drive to the East North Side of the Island tomorrow. I am a Daughter of God

It's because she's a professional speaker, not some woman off the streets!

I agree with you

When you are dealing with the best, unfortunately more often than not it doesn't matter how hard you try, you will never be the best.
And the 3 habits are?

These fancy words and phrases are too ‘clever’ for me.
Maybe try looking them up? 🤷
How? I'm no native speaker but I didn't have a problem with a single word.
Prophet Muhammad taught us to observe those with less than us, per chance we might be grateful for what we have.

Maybe that’s why second born children don’t tend to do as well in life as their older sibling.
Or is that a stereotype?
