I am rather shocked at some of the comments. Talking too slow?? She has a brain injury!! When my brain injury acts up, I will stutter, talk slower, stop mid sentence because I totally forget what I'm saying.
I have a mobility service dog. I can walk. Why are people so insensitive as to question why I need her? I am not required to explain to anyone.. I usually will as long as someone asks nicely. I have a medical condition that has led to multiple back surgeries and spinal issues. I have nerve damage. But I can walk. My balance sucks and I fall easily or just get too weak and have to stop and sit down. She balances me, protects me from falling by putting herself under me, helps me get back up, and will get help if I need it. If I have to sit down on the floor, without her, I cannot get up without someone trained to help me. So, either I never leave home or give up walking and use wheelchairs exclusively. She lets me be one beautiful step closer to normal and helps me to handle dealing with every thing else I have lost.

3 year old comment still gonna reply. Because that’s one of the questions people are allowed to ask.
      “Is that a service dog?”
      “What purpose does it serve?”

people man. moki is a mobility dog because when my anxiety is high its really hard to walk because im shaking so much. i cant just sit down because it takes a really long time to stop. thats the main reason why she has mobility tasks. people are inconsiderate.

Thank you! The plum ordeal was funny (at least to us)! I panicked and stopped videoing, but we laughed for quite a bit til I had him put them back. Even when I ate them at home, he was not pleased. LOL! What a guy! I'll make sure he puts the next ones in the cart himself! :D

The two of you are truly an inspiration! I have raised 3 service dog puppies and all of them are now working service dogs. I like to think of them giving the same gifts to their handlers as Windsor gives to you. Thank you so much for sharing and keep up the great work!

Thanks for making this video. You did a great job. As someone with balance issues, I can appreciate some of what you're going through. And you're really brave to do the requests and post the videos online. I hope you know you're making it easier for the rest of us out there! Give Windsor a treat for me! :D

I'm glad you have a dog to help you, we really are blessed to have them. Windsor is amazing! I understand you have a brain injury and I shouldn't of been cutting onions during the part you explained about the employee. This is inspirational and so are you. He's so good at his job and I bet you're proud. You're an amazing person to watch and I love watching what he does. I have a service dog too, though he only does light mobility and nothing like this. It's amazing, really.

It is TRULY a gift of love for you to raise SD pups! How wonderful that all three are now working dogs, bringing joy and much needed help to their handlers. Thank you for caring for others that way!!! I know it's very emotional to send them on their life's journey. Windsor bets those dogs are just as wonderful as he is! :D Windsor loves his job and we'll hope to continue to share and show how he helps me!

I just re-watched the video myself, so I could live the "plum saga" again. Windsor can still be that picky if you jump in and do his job for him! He's a fun boy to have around.

I have watched most, if not all, of your videos with Windsor. I have been amazed at the work the two of you have accomplished and to see how Windsor is able to adapt as you heal and your needs change.
I have been training one of my companion dogs some of the tasks a mobility dog would perform in anticipation of some temporary mobility problems I will have in the future (minor surgery). Your videos have been both inspiring and helpful. Be well Christy.

I understand how pain can "detour" your day. I hope Ava, your SDIT (Service Dog In Training) passes through all the learning phases and is a steady help for you. I have constant pain and know how much just getting my shoes from the floor and getting socks out of the drawer can free me up to do something else I may not be able to do, or as well, if I'd put out the energy to get my shoes/socks. Service dogs can do so much to help and I hope Ava can be that for you!

Christy, I also have a TBI and I sure appreciate your banner about questions are a source of stress. That is SO true for me plus, I get easily distracted so if someone asks me a question, I will forget what I was doing. I would really appreciate not being spoken to also. That banner gave me hope.

First CHRISTY, GOD BLESS AND HEAL YOU, YOU ARE TRULY INSPIRATIONAL!!!!!!
    Michael Methot,
Any of the Traumatic Brain Injuries severe concussion, ied explosions, severe car injuries where there are severe blunt force trauma to the head with swelling in the brain that never fully resolves itself can cause these "stability" issues. Odd that you have not seen more of these types of service dogs, they are now more prevailent than wheelchair service dogs. I am picking my service dog up next week, it has been a long training process but I have a spinal cord injury and degenerative disease that is very rare, while I can walk very short distances, the Drs. Would prefer that I do not. In my city you see a lot of service dogs, but more for mobility issues for "TBI's".

    Awesome video :)
Summary (in case your injury makes it hard for you to read/understand long comments), you're inspirational & I wish more people could see your videos & learn what real service dogs are & how important they are :))
No idea why it came up in my video recommendations, but SO much better than many I've had in the past from people trying to get attention by claiming poorly trained dogs are "service dogs" & abusing people for even looking at their dog & claiming it's discrimination for them to even have to identify their dog. I wish more people could see your video to see what a REAL service dog looks like, how it acts & how people with real service dogs behave.
Must be SO frustrating for you to undoubtedly be questioned on your legitimacy as a result of those sorts of people, sad you need to explain that you have a brain injury & that people shouldn't interrogate you, but good on you for finding solutions to the problems they present & ways to get on with your life, You're inspirational :)))))
    & I'm also laughing at Windsor's plums :))
