23:41 4 3 plow is NOT optimal 6 ore wood port is better, your hand becomes flooded with wood and nothing but to four for one as well as missing out on 2 or 3 ore. Red can revenge cut your road to preserve their own win condition meaning you cant win but they didn't because they are stupid Cheers
@43:40 seems like a potential mistake? I think I would have used RB to go around 6 ore and trade 2 wood for a wheat to settle. I know it opens possibility for others to feed road to red but it seems unlikely (red would need 4 roads).
at 23:00 you could have ported your sheeps for a wood to plow red from the connect by building 4 11 and then 5 11. Is this sub-optimal? Or maybe you didn't want to put a target on your back?
I think at 19:00 when you played the road a road down would have been a good play. Weather or not you get the 6 3 11, which would help immensely, you’re starting to build towards the connect. Both you and red want to connect through the center and only one of you can do it. If you’re settles get split I think you have no chance. That being said it is slow to do that early game if you get ploughed
I do think the play at 40:00 of not correcting is objectively the wrong one, even given your explaination of it. Then again, that's what I would say....
Hi. I'm curious. If red had not built that second road towards the 4 3 would you have ploughed them to the 4 3 spot ? As you had already showed your intent to goto the 6 ore wood port over the 4 3 spot. It seems like after that red should have connected roads across the center to stop you connecting to get longest road. But maybe the extra wood and brick you now had over them meant they decided they couldnt beat you for road anymore so just went building elsewhere instead.
Hey DandyDrew! What's up I'm DefineFatal and I love your content!!! Just wanted to let you know I support you and we catan players need to stick together! haha!!
City vs settle at 49:00 - I would have gone for settle. Yes, city clears your hand better but you will be left with 6 cards, so you can pop first and then decide to go for settle if it is a VP. Black sitting on 6 devs has high prob of a road builder and plough your settle position, unless they are racing with blue on devs, which you took the risk of. At this point, any single roll will give you city as well

Really great video!

black at the beginning. 2nd pick. 9-2-6. looks like the location was bot placement, but not that road up and left.

Perfect upload time 🙌
Heeey , I was black this game 😂Kakatana
Bad game by me …
Road game, yay. Nice
UH at 47.30 you were any one cared away!
How does this work? Do I say "hi twitch"?
That works for me! 😂
Can you play the roadbuilding card before rolling? That would be insane😂
Yes! Every dev is playable before the roll.
8:20 bot placed bro. Lucky for you guys since red doesn't get it.
I have a challenge for you dandy: win a game with a pre-roll road building
I have done this before but it’s rare. Taking road with the road builder pre-roll! Super satisfying :)
That's amazing, I would love to have seen that game. Hopefully you get it again in the future

Might be a bit late but pop is not an option here as all dev cards are already taken
Yoo let’s go phreeze #1 in chicago
Good player! Though I had a game where he intentionally kingmade someone because he didn’t want someone else to win… 😬

If you were targeted as much as black was then black would have won. Sometimes games depend on who get targeted among the top 2 players.
Easy to say that but when black and blue are fighting army, it makes sense they would hit each other.
@@dandydrew true, but it doesn't explain why red targeted black (he could have targeted either of you as both of you were in the lead).
