Out of all of the 4Runner's I have watched on TH-cam, I believe Silver has garnered my respect the most. A true workhorse that I continue to watch over the years. What a great rig. I know you will change rigs at some point, but it would be cool if you kept Silver forever if you can spare a spot to store it.
She has been such an incredible member of the family. If she ever goes up for sale you'll know something has gone horribly wrong. Otherwise she'll be around for Caroline's kids to learn on.
@@LifestyleOverland That is incredible! You have a beautiful family and we will always subscribe to your content. The way you interact with your subscribers is also second to none.
24:15 Well done showing how we all can screw up and the importance of keeping safety first, especially when towing. Appreciate your humility for the sake of educating your viewers!
Thanks for sharing the lesson of misconnecting the safety chain. It’s an important lesson from a mistake that you recognized was important for everyone to learn. Good job.
After a tough time at a dealership trying to negotiate a deal on a vehicle, (with a "wait and see" after they made some big mistakes), your video put a huge smile on my face!! Thank you for sharing your adventures. The mud on that pin probably helped prevent a disaster. Yeah for mud!! You folks continue to be an inspiration and a welcome escape from the temporary trials of life. We look forward to seeing more! Thank you again!!
@@LifestyleOverland life is full of temporary trials. We live, we learn. It will work out in the end and perhaps someday we will meet you on the trail!
I love seeing Caroline enjoying time with dad. I nice quiet morning with hot chocolate and coffee reading her babysitters club book. It's pretty special.
As always, wonderful video and fun to see you on a daddy-daughter adventure! Glad you’re loving your Xpedition trailer still. That’s on our bucket list sooner or later. Where did you get those cool RC trucks? Those look fun. Great job on the photography Caroline!
Woohoo, finally learned what pot&pans I've been seeing. They are not listed in your Amazon store and have asked a few time in past vids. Yea, that check box is now checked.
That trailer chain happens. As I got older I started to add those locking links, and leave it there, to hook on to so I don't have to bend too far to visually check.
Very interesting about your hitch-in coming out, we had an experience with our camper trailer in outback South Australia we had pulled up for a cuppa and whilst we were away some idiot had pulled the pin out, (no way we could’ve forgotten) we had driven over 1500klms and we had to stop for a break and has my husband came back to the vehicle he saw our camper trailer just hanging in the tow bar on the car…so we always make a habit to check if we stop anywhere now and also carry spare pins, for the just in case moments.
That adorable young lady is so very blessed to bond so closely with a strong masculine presence in her life. I watched the whole video for that one moment where she looked into your eyes with complete openness and trust. There is nothing better in the whole world than that look. You are both so blessed.
Great stuff Kevin and Caroline! nice work on the camera's you too. Love the flashbacks at the end Kevin, cherished video for you all as the years progress :)
Beautiful place. Thank you for taking us with you. Like you, I am borderline paranoid on trailer hook up and have still had the "how did I do that moments that can't be explained "
Awesome job you are doing raising your daughter. The world needs more dads like you. Quick question. We are looking for a small oven like yours could you help with a brand and where you bought it. Ideally we would like to buy from Amazon as we are from South Africa and it’s just easier through them.
I once forgot to put up the back legs on our teardrop, luckily they are a break away design, but about a mile down the road when we hit pavement it sounded like my wheel hubs were grinding in a brand new trailer lol.
I have watching your beautiful family for 5 years. Love all of it . Every one of them. I bought the same 4Runner as you. . Silver 2022. When are you coming to NYC. Love and respect from LONG ISLAND NY.
Caroline is not only learning about off road driving, but what kind of man to look for in a future husband. Kevin, you are teaching her lessons for a lifetime that she may not even realize until they are needed. And one more thing Kevin, you really need to pick better campsites! 😁 JK, good on ya dad, and I think Caroline and Sarah would agree!
HI KEVIN & CAROLINE 👋 ONE ON ONE TIME GOES FAST , THEY GROW QUICKLY. GORGEOUS TRIP , LANDSCAPE SCENERY VIEWS COLORS & DRONE FOOTAGE VIDEO 📹 KEVIN WHAT NAME BRAND IS YOUR OVEN ? @@LifestyleOverland I purchased that oven after watching one of your videos but it has the thermometer on the top. did you change it to the front and if so, why?
I know, I know, to each his own. I also realize by adding aftermarket exhaust, you might gain 5 hp on a 200,000 mile + engine, but listening to that exhaust out on the trail would get annoying after a while. Maybe it’s just a camera mic amplifying it, but I don’t remember Silver being that loud.
You, Matt from Ozark Overland and a few others have nurtured my, at this point, need to go on adventures, with my job I get to be outdoors but the work I do doesn't exactly give me a chance to enjoy being outside. Exactly what I was thinking. Silver was my original reason for subbing. It's been an incredible vehicle. Still kicking myself for selling my 4R.
Great story telling. I bought my 4 year old grandson that yellow FJ RC. We have had a blast with that.
You are a great dad! Thank you for sharing this video.

27:24 One of my very favorite spots in Utah. I haven't been on that side of the main overlook, but I've camped on the Western side of it many times.

Excellent, Caroline is becoming quite the adventurer 😎⭐️🤩
Kids are invincible, I swear. A fall like Caroline's at 26:12 would destroy all of my joints.

Another wonderful video, Caroline is picking up Dads skills when it comes to cameras etc, and helping with the kitchen duties
Great Job Caroline!!
It’s called “Karma”. Girls got quick wit !!

You poor thing, with that terrible camp at 29:00! lol!!
Do you have a link for those spice jars?
amzn.to/43RKMCW There ya go
maybe leave the closed clasps attached and add a spring hook to the chain? help reduce chance of error. I appreciate the PSA as I have a 2018 4runner.
Friday uploads now? Awesome video!

Just wondering if you still have your FJ40 Troopy and are you going to film any trips in it?
Hey Kevin, I’m sure it’s in the comments if I dig, but do you have a link to where you got your RC rigs?
p.s. I have since ordered and received my own Winnerwell oven... Game Changer !!

You should mount an action camera to one of the RC rigs
Awesome idea! 🙌
Especially the 360 one 🙌🏽
You should start an expedition group. Where do I sign up?

A tip - once go you stainless ‘multi layer’ cookware, you will never go back to so called non-stick again.
Easy cleanup at home, or at camp.

I believe it is legal for your daughter to drive your 4-Runner in a OHV area with an OHV education certificate in Utah.
I cant wait til i can take my 4runner or suburban and just go get lost in the back country
