Every video gets better and better. You really have an eye for cinematography.
That Bronco looks really good. Looks like it could go anywhere as well.
It’s a fantastic day when Revere Overland drops another video!! 🤘🏼
You guys make a great team! The views and spaces to explore in Utah are endless!
Not a Jeep fan but boy am i impressed now. Im looking twice at older Jeeps.
Another beautifully shot video as usual. Those are actually pictographs (painted on the rocks) versus petroglyphs which are etched / pecked into the rocks. Thanks for pointing out and protecting that soil which is called cryptobiotic soil, It might take 20 to 100 years to recover after stepping on it. I apologize for the corrections, I am a retired science educator.
Fabulous content. I appreciate your focus on the movement of your rigs, framed by the landscapes and not spending too much time on camping and cooking. For those of us office bound and living clear across the country, seeing this landscape is truly remarkable. Thank you for your hard work. It is much appreciated.
Anyone see @offthegrind fall over at time mark 36:41. lol I’d love to see how muddy he was. Look through robs rear window. You see him setting up the shot around 36:36 and then he falls over.
I definately have to do this trail! Can't wait for the smooth medium fast driving and the views! Thanks for sharing the trails on the patreon page with clear GPS marks! And the low price? Wow!
Thanks for your support! It helps us make more videos like this
Nice shot from above when you go under the highway with the cars passing above you.
That was one of David’s shots! It was a good one!
Ahhh the desert, have to love it! great start to a new year. thanks again for taking us along.
I love your long content videos. Keep up the good work, can't wait to watch this whole thing!
Thanks!
Love your videos, hope to see many through the summer and fall!
12:20 - "It is - holy crap" - literally ! made my day. Like the whole thing made my day. thx!
Lol!
You are killing it Rob! Excellent work as well great information.
Congratulations on the 100k. Liked seeing you use the indeflate. Don’t see many big timers using them. I love mine. I’d gladly be David fire starter. Lol. The wild horses were super cool to see. The 40 minutes on this video flew by so fast. Love Utah. Ps….I hope you miss the jeep.
I like them a lot! The 4 hose ones are cool, but that’s far too much to wrestle back into a bag for my liking.
David will be pleased to hear it!
Maybe one day, i'll be able to find these places , like you guys do..!! Did I hear you say, Dave is open to meeting ..??
David did a meetup for his Patreon supporters at the end of the trip
@@RevereOverland Thank you Rob for your reply.
We absolutely love that area...it's amazing to think that people used to call that area home for centuries
Yeah I can’t imagine living and working in such a remote and harsh environment
Another great video!
Such a good trip! The company was so-so, but the views made up for it
Couldn’t agree more!
That’s not the story Rob told… I was informed there was a lot of cuddling.
Most Excellent episode... You may not believe it... but 20 years ago I took my 15 passenger Ford e350 Van through those roads by the copper globe mine. You must have missed the tribute plaque to the sheep herder who was killed near the mine and crawled 5 miles through the snow to escape before he died. That was back in the cattle/sheep herding wars.
Quality is amazing!
thank you for the content. made my day. a quick mental vacation. your production skills are top notch. consider forking your channel. one for adventures. one for gear/analysis. also consider releasing a non narrated version videos like this one. i like hearing the music(always spot on), but (sometimes) prefer no vocal.
Hi Rob, very nice video! I enjoyed the cinematography and the journey you were kind enough to share. Thank you.
Thank you!
Absolutely stunning views from the drone! 🤯👊👌
Rob, did you try to make a joke at 19:45? If so, I am so proud of you!!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉
Neat huh?
@@RevereOverland 😂😂😂😂😂
I had a feeling..! I looked on my onx maps to follow your journey and sure enough you checked out a ton of spots I've had marked and been meaning to check out! Thank you for giving me an idea of what's out there!
It's an awesome route. Enjoy!
So long Green Jeep. You were the best Off-Road vehicle Rob ever owned...but you weren't a Toyota or a Lexus...so you had to go.
Meh
😢😂
Nailed it!!! 😂
And it won’t be at MOORE, I never even got to say goodbye 🥺
Great video, I did much of this route at the end of February and then again just a week ago. I saw those same horses and camped at the overlook just north of where ya'all were. What an unusual place for a cooper mine. I am surprised to hear it didn't payout there are visible cooper seams everywhere.
Yeah there’s obviously a lot of copper there, but apparently the ore was really low quality!
I was in the swell one time and met a local who claimed to be a great grandson of one of the Swasey brothers. According to him, they weren't just into ranching, but were doing some moonshine as well.
That wouldn’t surprise me!
Great video as always! I really wish more of the camping/food prep was included. Just a tad would be nice 😅
I did boil in a bag meals on this trip lol. I’ll include that in the next video!
Best on TH-cam
Thank you!
The first time i b3came aware of Bronco was a car chase on live tv many years ago. The guy was driving real slow. It was illegal apparently to go that slow cos they charged him but was aquitted. Lots of likes from South Africa.
“Broncos are made for every kind of road”. LOVE it!! Lol
Great video
When can @offthegrind go on a trip with me to be my lackey?
I’m ok with sharing. Let me check my schedule so we don’t double book!
It comes with benefits.
Just being passed around I see.
Hi Rob! I always always love seeing your videos! I'm going to be in the San Rafael Swell in about a week, and I was wondering if you could please tell me the location at the 29:00 mark, or even just what it's called. Thank you so very much! 🙂
Please share the gear/settings for that fantastic star lapse !!!
Sony a7iii with Sony 20mm f1.8 set to 15 second exposure with the moon out or 20 without.
@@RevereOverland ahhh. Real glass.. Not an action cam.. Makes sense... Thank you
I’d love to see how you drive and fly the drone at the same time?
I have my camera shy assistant drive for me, of course!
Love your videos! Just curious why you do not move west from Kentucky? You only seem to overland western states and the drive back and forth for every trip must be a drag and expensive!
Keep the videos coming either way!
It's definitely a drag and is very expensive! Unfortunately it's still cheaper than moving out west; house prices are super low in Kentucky, and we just can't find anything even close in Colorado, Utah, or any of the surrounding states.
It looks like lots of miles were covered. I’m only seeing one or two rotopacks on your vehicles. How was gas managed? Especially for the jeep.
I had about 20 miles range left when we got to the gas station, but we didn’t use anything from the Rotopax!
I see they closed down parts of the swell, any of the paths you took get affected by it?
Not yet. The next video features a trail that is part of the closure plan.
@@RevereOverland that sucks. But glad you got to experience it.
Have you ever thought about doing a small group trip with viewers? ESP those who are new to this?
I’m talking to a local organization in Kentucky. They’ll be doing the guiding and training, but I’ll be organizing it.
@@RevereOverland Do utah too! Haha 🙏
Hey. I really like that shot you using from your front bumper facing the jeep, what kinda bracket is that to keep it stable? I’d love to use that in my videos! 😎👍
Also… you’re an inspiration great stuff!
It’s just a clamp from Ram Mounts holding onto a selfie stick!
Gotcha! I have a long clamp style bracelet but it’s not that stable. Anyway I like that as an add to all the amazing drone shots!
We had a spare key fob battery in the Jeeps camped around the corner! Next time 😂
Lol! I never did replace it, I just warmed it up each morning 😂
Is that dead end overlook Devils Canyon? What's the name of this trail?
I’m not sure!
Hope you ate more than just that salad kit
I balanced it out with some cookies
Can I ask why you don’t fit mudflaps to your vehicles in the USA?
Do you not normally drive in the mud and wet dirt ?
I’m glad my 2023 Toyota Land Cruiser 78 Troop Carrier come standard with good quality mudflaps from the factory.
Keep up Me great videos
I think it's my fault rather than Jeep's. The wheels stick out a little further than they did from factory, but this is the first trip I've really had problems with it. My next vehicle won't have the wheels sticking out as far.
@@RevereOverland I have noticed most jeeps in the US seem to have the wheels stuck out past the bodywork.
Down under it’s illegal to have the sticking out pasta the bodywork.
Unfortunately, I owned a Jeep once and a mechanic that could keep fixing it .
It was a two year old TJ broke down of three weeks with a new fault each time.
Replaced it with a far superior Suzuki Jimny for better offroad adventures.
@@overland_adventure_nz It is also illegal in most states in the US. There is a requirement for fender flares and mud flaps when the wheels stick out or if they're bigger than the stock... but the enforcement of it varies.
Hey Rob I can’t believe you sold the Sarge Green Rubi😭😭😭😭
But I got something a little more unusual and a lot cheaper! No more car payment = more trips I think?
"Pictograph"- paint. "Petroglyph"- Chipped. :)
Dang, I thought it was the other way around!
What State are you in or do you not won't people to know
Why did you buy a Jeep? One of the reasons I enjoyed watching your channel because you were not driving a cliche overland jeep. Typical in almost every overlanding channel on TH-cam. I still enjoy the cinematography and scenic quality of your videos though.
I wanted to do more technical trails and bring in a wider audience… then decided I didn’t enjoy the more technical stuff. The next vehicle won’t be a typical off roader.
@RevereOverland I highly suggest the Ford Sportsmobile 4X4 van. Maybe a RB350 model or a Ford passenger van with a U Joint Off Road 4X4 conversion.
Share your onX route with us
Where’s the Tundra 🥺
Sitting in Kentucky waiting to get finished up with the AluCab!
@@RevereOverland awesome man can Waite to see her on your next journey!

Jeeps sold? Looks like no more rock crawling for you sadly

Subbed to @OFFTHEGRIND to help his 100K journey.
That’s what I like to hear!
