I can afford it I've got a house in Naples and another one in Boca Raton. I live in Florida exactly 6 months a year to the day as Ontario, Canada now has an empty home tax if you live in your house less than 6 months of the year.
As an Australian the insurance costs are significantly higher in Florida than where I live. Clearly we don’t have the health insurance costs that you do in the US.
Thanks for the info. Is there any new construction inland from the Tampa area that are two bedroom units? If not new, what areas would have smaller units like this?

The cost of living is quite a bit less in Florida than in most parts of Australia.
