Never, NEVER live where there is an HOA. It's only purpose is to give people with poor personalities the means to harass people. It is legal abuse.

HOAs have absolutely NO reason to exist. It shifts the burden from local government to HOA and it is ripe with abuse and fraud.

As an Australian the insurance costs are significantly higher in Florida than where I live. Clearly we don’t have the health insurance costs that you do in the US.

Can you drive a golf car in the Lake Nona community? Does Lake Nona 55 plus community only offer a pool, community center and a tennis court for their community members? Does the community offer any clubs for people to join? Or in order to join any club, the community members have to go out of the community?
