I really like the way you get consistent look in your videos with both lighting and colors. Well done, and always love creative intros like this 👏🏻 Enjoy your new Amok, it is really addictive when you get used to it and learn how to use it in most situations.
The amok is awsome. You can sit in it as well as lay flat and on the sides. Also, ones you have a few more nights in it, it will become easy to get in/out. It will also be easy to lean over to the sides. The guideline atop can be used to get into position.
I tried this set from Amok, unfortunately it didn't suit my sleeping style. I found it very difficult to get into and if you wanted to adjust the sleeping position it was pretty much impossible. Otherwise, the set was very educational, the material choices professional and many smart storage solutions
I agree that getting in and out of the hammock can be somewhat difficult - especially when you have to change camera angles ☺️ For how long did you try it out?
The hammock - without the sleeping mat - weighs about 900 grams. The model I use is the UL (ultralight) in XL. I also got the tarp, but the weather was too nice to bring it along on this trip 😊
It’s definitely a great hammock. Getting in and out of the hammock is somewhat time consuming, especially when you have to change camera angles all the time. All in all, great for forest camping ⛺️
The way the hammock is made, including the blown up sleeping mat makes it so you lay flat facing the sides of the ridge line. In a traditional hammock, you lay along the ridgeline, like a cocoon almost. This company designed the whole thing to be adjustable in pitch (height) but you can see some straps on the inside, which can make the hammock into a hanging chair as well. I prefer the normal hammock over this variant, but people who need the flat lay might prefer this!
The construction distributes the weight over three main tensioners located at the middle of the hammock. These tensioners can be adjusted in order to elevate both the foot end and the upper back 😊
Yes, I did. I guess my summary of the experience was a bit fragmented ☺️ The only thing I have to get used to is the swinging back and forth every time you change position.
Perfect, naaah. Most stupid, maybe? For me just form over content. I need tarp, matt, bag or blanket and some moskito net to sleep, many nights i don't even need tarp. Most of the time i sleep on 3mm matt. I sleep like a baby and my camping gear cost s and weight nothing comparing to all those funny hammocs for city folks. Go minimal, go natural and have fun. Spiders will come even on your hammocs

Thanks, Thomas. I think I found my way of doing it 🎥 I think it takes some time to get used to it, especially the swinging part, but so far so good😉
We're pumped that you're enjoying the product. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. We appreciate the support! 🤩
The pleasure is all mine 🙌

I like the functionality, but as you say, I guess that it takes a couple og nights to learn how to use the hammock properly :)

@@HikingHansen I tried Amok about 5-6 times
Thank you for posting, Looks interesting. How much does it weight? What kind of tarp works with this hammock(weight)?

Well done.. 🤠

Thank you 😊 I had to document the process since it was the first time using a proper hammock.
It do look perfect ❤❤❤

Is it something about the construction that makes it more flat?

But did you sleep well!?
Yes, I did. I guess my summary of the experience was a bit fragmented ☺️ The only thing I have to get used to is the swinging back and forth every time you change position.
Yes - They're a mixed blessing but that looks like a good one 🥱
Can you sleep on your stomach with that?
I haven’t tried, but that can be arranged 🤜
Den så digg ut! Og står ikke på turmaten as 🤩
Veldig god til å spise is i ☺️ Viktig å kose seg selv om det er midt i uka🤌
Amok clickbaiT
I have newer made a clickbait title before. This might be the first one ☝️☺️

Simplicity is also great, but I most say, I do appreciate a bit thicker sleeping mat than 3 mm☺️
