  • Had a great time breaking in the KTM with a long weekend trip to Bear Lake Utah / Idaho (The lake is in both). I was on my 2022 890 Adventure, and Nate was on his 2020 790 Adventure R. Both performed flawlessly and were the perfect choice for the long stretches of highway to get there, combined with all the adventuring while there.
Sorry about the sections with overdubbing and music overlays. One of these days I'll master my microphone.

I lived in Bingham for a few years. Logan Canyon, the lakes, and the cave.....pretty cool stuff.

Looked like a great weekend !! Please stop telling everyone how Beautiful Bear Lake/ Logan Canyon area is, it gets busier every year
we go. 😄 Just missed you guys, we were there the week prior. I spent most of my riding time up in the hills, on the dirt 2 tracks.
If you haven't checked out Blacksmith Fork Canyon, and Left Hand fork, east of Hyrum, then you need to. Way prettier than Green
Canyon. Hopefully you guys got a Huckleberry shake while you were in Garden City. Ride on, be safe.

Haha, yeah - maybe I shouldn't spread the word too much. Thankfully, my TH-cam following is pretty small. Thanks for the tips - I'll definitely check out those spots! And we got lots of raspberry shakes, but no Huckleberry. If you haven't tried them, you need to get a shake from a place called "Float On". It's on that corner you turn at to get out to North Beach. Their icecream is all made fresh in house with a crap ton of butter fat, and they're amazing.

What is the tail bag you have there? Looks like an ideal size.

It’s the Nelson Rigg Commuter Sport bag (CL-1060-S2). It is a great size. And a lifetime warranty. My first one had a zipper problem after a year or so, and the replaced it without blinking an eye.
