Had my 2001 Stb STI for over a year and it's everything we could have wanted (UK). It gets so much attention and people constantly asking details or paying compliments, we even get people stopping dead in the road to let us through :-) Nothing bling, just stock standard fun

No other car manufacturer has ever offered the FXT practicality and fun mix in a single package. It’s a damn shame they dropped the Turbo and manual models.

I finally got my NA 04 Forester XT with all the STI parts. Around 375hp in my daily grocery getter with 2 kids.

Great vid as usual! Never even heard of the XTI what an awesome concept the gradient colour scheme is one of a kind wish they did it. The 2004 Forester STI in WR Blue is my dream car hopefully getting one in next few months from japan there’s such little info online, so anytime i see a vid about it gets me exited haha!

I am debating on importing one of the regular SF S/TB's. Way less flashy, A lot like the future FXT or OBXT would become.

I think the jdm mitsubishi airtrek turbo was competing with the forester back then

the sg9 fsti comes stock with 18s though, none of those tiny 17s

Had a 2005 FXT manual. One of the best cars I’ve ever owned. Quick, manual, huge cargo space, snow capable. The list goes on. Drove it until the rings failed around 160k miles. Re-built the engine and sold it about 25k miles later when the A/C finally died.

I've seen factory manual XT's go for 50% more than the regular SG's up here in the PNW. The prices are insane on them.
